This is a high quality precise well made piece of art. Also the steel used in this tool is of high quality and not brittle like other tools. I gave this tool five stars. I give leatherman and gerber tools three stars each. If you don't believe me put this tool in one hand and any other tool you wish to compare in the other hand and compare. The only thing I like to have in this tool (new version) is a larger scissors. The one I have has small scissors. They are fine but a larger one will make them more practical.

This review is for the new version tool (the one with scissors). I recently bought a Leatherman Wave tool...try to compare the two and give an honest opinion about the quality and the practicality of the two. The finish and the built quality of the Swiss tool is much better than the Leatherman. There is really a big difference here. The Vic. Swiss Army tool has a bigger and smoother pliers. The Leathermans Wave tool has too many small useless low quality bits without locking system. The Victorinox tool has an excellent smooth locking system that keeps the bit you use in place (think safety). The Swiss tool was designed to make it easy to open the bits you want to use. On the other hand, I have to figure out how to open the small bits in the Leathermans. You open one of the bits you don't want just to open the one you want hoping there is enough friction between the two bits (poor design).
The truth I returned the Leatherman Wave...because there is a big big difference between the two tools. The only good thing in the Leatherman is the metal file...The Swiss saw is an efficient fast great wood saw. Gerber new models may compete with Swiss Tools but The steel seems to be brittle and prone to breakage. I bought an extra (new version) Swiss Tool...The balistic pouch is of low quality...The tool is still high quality Swiss made. However, you can buy a high quality leather pouch from eknifeworks...The truth is that the Swiss Tool is the best tool I saw and used so far with a wide margin.

One of the two best multi-tools on the market today. (the other being the Leatherman SuperTool 200)

PROS:
1) Strong pliers with comfortable grip
2) All blades can open while pliers are closed and all blades lock
3) Useful Chisel blade
4) Anti-rust finish
5) Heavy Duty steel

CONS:
1) The file on the "X" model seems to be made of aluminum. After some use the "steel" plating chipped off. The Leatherman file is much tougher and can be used on wood or metal.
2) You might break your nails trying to open the blades.

*UPDATE*
>> I sold sold the "X" model and purchased the "RS" model thereby trading the cheap file for a curved serrated blade. I like this tool much better now.

When I decided to buy a multi-tool last fall I did a thourough research on the Internet, reading up on what others said, then I went to the store to touch and feel the tools to really sense the difference, and I must agree: This is the best. My first choice, if I hadn't done my homework, would have been Leatherman, mainly because of brand recognition. I never regretted that I bought the Swiss Tool instead. Why?
1. The best feature are the spring locks that lock each blade and tool securely. NO fumbling and accidental slips.
2. The knife blades are razor sharp, even after long use, so is the saw.
3.The size is comfortable, and you grip it very easily.

P.S. I suggest you to get hold of the version with scissors. They may look small, but they're not wobbly at all.

I love this cake stand... even better, it's sold for more than twice Target's price at a higher-end store!!! I LOVE TARGET!

This is THE best. It is made by Target and is very high quality and has nice sturdy glass. The domed lid fits perfectly into the cake stand that has a raised lip. The bottom is sturdy and doesn't wobble around. And if you invert the bottom of the cake stand and then turn the lid upside down, you have a punch bowl! The knob fits tightly into the base so there is no chance the punch bowl won't tip over. This piece is great and I know I will get a lot of use out of it!

I was looking for a simple cake plate and found a great cake plate with a bonus: a great punch bowl, too. The look is elegant. The quality is exceptional, especially for the price. You won't be disappointed. I love it.

This trimmer is great. I got it after reading all the other reviews and I have to agree with everyone about how good a trimmmer it is. The only disappointment I have is I expected a carrying case for the trimmer, like on the picture, but it did not have one included.

This trimmer is sure to keep your lower pubic area neat and tidy! You can adjust the length, so you have control of how much you trim and how much you keep. It doesn't get you completely bald down there, but since I had read the reviews before purchasing this product I wasn't expecting it to. -For that I would suggest some Skintimate shaving cream and a Mach 3 razor. Oh, and some Bikini Zone as well. I personally prefer to just have mine neat and in order instead of completely shaved and so far this trimmer has kept me from having to deal with razor bumps.

Another plus is that it comes with a form showing you how you can order more parts if you need to. The top is adjustable and can come off for shaping up the edges and then it resembles regular hair clippers. (I didn't know about that until I had received it.) Anyway, if you lose that top part or drop it and accidentally step on it or something, you're gonna wanna replace just that part instead of the whole trimmer. It's a little less stressful for me if I know -before I use the product- that if I screw something up, I can just order that particular part.

All in all, I'm really glad I purchased this product!

During the delivery of my little girl by C-section, the doctor/nurses kept talking about how "neat" my pubic area was. They complimented the prep-nurse, who finally told them that she didn't do the prep, that I came in that way. Needless to say, I love this product and have been using it for years, both before and after the birth.

The colors are nice but that's about where the appeal ends. They are extremely heavy for dishes making them harder to balance and hold, especially for children. They also become scratched very quickly and it's not just from stacking them, though that would be bad enough. Everyday use with your knife and fork leaves marks too. In general I found the bowls and salad plates to be to small. There is no lip on the bowl so you can't hold anything hot in it with your bare hands. I recommend looking else where if you want a good set of everyday dishes.

I absolutely love the colors and look of these dishes, and they are very heavy and seem very durable. We registered for cobalt, plum, cinnabar, and periwinkle settings for our wedding and just started using them 2 weeks ago when we returned from our honeymoon. We've been stacking them in the cupboard just like any dishes because they certainly looked like they could handle it, but yesterday I noticed that many of them are covered with scratches from being stacked! I can't believe it! They are deep enough that they can't be rubbed away and are really noticeable on my dark dishes. I'm so bummed; I didn't have any idea that stacking them would wreck them (never bothered any of my other dishes), and there weren't any special care instructions that came with the dishes. So while these are fantastic, I would take into consideration that they apparently destroy each other in the cupboard :(

I have bought 2 of these sets so far. I'm working my way up to service for 8. I absolutely love these dishes. They are very durable.

I also like whow they coordinate nicely with the other colors. I have chartreuse, yellow, rose and periwinkle in the dishes I've accumulated so far. They all seem to fit together making dinner very colorful.

Although this 12-inch brush and scraper is well made, it's too short (which is important when you're cleaning the back of a hot grill). In retrospect, I would have spent the extra two bucks to get the 18-inch model.

This little scraper is perfect for all grills, the brass brissles are stronger and better than those greeny-meanies, but soft enough for porceline coated grills unlike the steel bristle ones which will scratch. Great tool, but a little short for those on-the-fly !HOT! scrapes.

I purchased a Weber Genesis BBQ two years ago and bought one of these brush / scrapers (and a cover) at the same time. It does a great job cleaning the grill and lasts me a full BBQ season (I BBQ a LOT). As stated below, crank up the heat on your grill, give it a few minutes to get real hot, then scrape off the previous sessions' remnants. The metal tip at the end gets way down between the grates, and the bristles really clean the grill. Just get it (they're cheap) and you're set for another season of delicious adventures...

When you are cooking, and in a bit of a time crunch the extra bowl can be so helpful. I use mine when I am making cookies, sometimes I make two different kinds at once, and I am good to go. Or when I am making a cake, and I want to prepare everything at once, and come back and frost the cake later. I hate to stop what I am doing to wash one bowl to use it again. If you do a lot of cooking and you are short on time this might be a good purchase for you.

The price is great and the bowl is extra helpful. Before I was having so much trouble with trying to find different ways to store batters while doing multiple step recipies. THis item is great.

This is a surrogate review for my mom. We "kids" gave this to her as a gift recently, and she says it's great. She said she'd felt like she was cleaning her mixing bowl nonstop when she used her Kitchenaid mixer, but with this extra bowl, she can get things done faster and easier. (That means more cookies, and faster.)

Who can argue with a mom? It must be a darn good bowl.

I shave very rarely (once every 3 to 4 weeks). Consequently, my shavers have to mow through a jungle at that time. I have previously used Norelco and Braun electric shavers with mixed results at best. This Panasonic handles the thickest of my beards. Granted it takes a while to get through the growth, but I truly appreciate the "Linear Motor" feature, which ensures that the razor does not slow down in direct relationship to the thickness of the beard. The speed is fast and it remains constant! As long as there is power left, which is conveniently displayed with LED lights, the shaver works its way through and I get a very close shave. Guess if I shaved more often, I would appreciate this product even more! Never tried "wet shaving", but clean-up is a snap...pour a little hand soap on the foil, turn it on and rinse under tap water. I would highly recommend this product.

Amazing! I have purchased a Panasonic ES8026 (the best panas. in our country - I think it's the same, maybe the battery is another...) only yesterday and this morning I tried shaving with with a shaving gel - I never had so close shave even with my Mach 3 razor (which also left lots of bumps and cuts on my face). I had shaved with a small travel shaver before, and the difference is great. I have very sensitive skin and shaving was always a nightmare for me. But this shaver changed everything! It glides over my face very easily and leaves almost no irritation. Beautiful!

I've had one of these for almost a year now. I think that it is great. I cuts about as close as a blade without the hassle and time. Also no nicks, scrapes or cuts. It's not real fast, but it sure is faster than getting out the razor and going through that routine. I just use it dry and dump out the clippings every few days. I wash it when it needs recharging (every 2 or 3 weeks). It seem to cut a little closer if you use shaving gel, but it is not worth the hassle for me. My sons have used it when they are home. They like it, but one says that it doesn't work well if you have not shaved for 2 or 3 days.

I think it's as good as they get. Give it a try!

Early this year, I was shopping for a mini book lamp. I had only two choices:
1. Zelco "itty bitty" Book Light
2. Petzel E44p Headlamp.
Researched both products. Finally, decided Petzel E44P was the one for me based on reviews and the overall product specs . I purchased two Petzel headlamps and I'm happy that I made the right choice.

Cons: Closing the battery lid was not easy.
On/Off switch could be better.

This is a nearly perfect headlamp.

Positive points:
1) Best battery life of any headlamp that I've seen. LED lamps, low power consumption, etc. mean that it easily gets 100 hours per set of batteries.
2) Lightest, most comfortable headlamp on the market, especially for daily use and/or "in your pocket, when I need it" use.
3) Terrific as a "go put the dog out" or "reading in bed" light.

Bottom line: it's really cool; works great, can be packed away, and used as a hand lamp...get one. You'll love it.

Minor caveats:
1) There's a little warning slip in the package, but in case you miss that: to avoid unpleasant surprises, DO use two hands to take it off, so the rear pad doesn't jump off the back of your head and hit your hand.
2) It's not waterproof, and not as secure as some of the higher-end sport headlamps. Therefore, when pursuing physically vigorous activities, you may want a headlamp that is a little more secure. This is fine, however, for jogging, biking, reading in bed, etc.

I purchased my first Zipka as a stocking stuffer for my husband, HOPING he would use it. It gets used all the time! Taking out the trash, in the workshop, as a book light, around the house and of course Camping! My whole family has since purchased them. The battery lasts forever and its a great way to tend the fire or cook without having to set up a lantern or other light source. Its light weight and durable too. Even my small cousins have them and they work great!

I have a few OXO utensils in my kitchen, though I have replaced most with Calphalon and KitchenAid. While this set is sturdy and attractive, the handles are large and make it difficult to store them. I normally store utensils in an upright container on the counter, but because of the huge handles, the containers only fit 1/3 the amount of OXO utensils compared to my Calphalon utensils.

Even though the handles are difficult for storage, they are nice when you are cooking as they are big and easy to grasp. This set is decent as a starter set though, because all the items are sturdy, attractive and easy to clean. I just stick mine in the dishwasher and have never had a problem. I do especially like the OXO can opener - it's one of my favorites! Works extremely well.. I use it more often than most others in my kitchen.

I think these are a good purchase, but eventually you'll probably want to upgrade to nicer, easier to store, utensils. :)

We recently renovated our kitchen and couldn't bring ourselves to bring some of our old wedding gifts back out of boxes. We wanted some new kitchen utensils & these were a good start.

These are not OXO's best quality utensils. They are obviously a "package set", but still have the trademark OXO soft grip handles. OXO utensils usually run $3.99 - $7.99 each, so 19 pieces at this price is a deal. It's a nice set, but the spoons seem a little small, and the ladle is really too small (probably great for pancake batter).

If you're looking for a nice starter set, this is great. If you're looking fof the better OXO utensils, you'll have to do it piece by piece. I've already added an ice cream scoop to ours.

I have been collecting things for when I finally move out. When I first saw this set, I wanted it, but the price was a little expensive for me. When I saw it on sale, I got it.

It has the basic tools that I use pretty much every day I'm home: can opener, turner, spoon, measuring cups.

It also have the college essential: pizza wheel.

About once a week I use some of the other tools: peeler, spaghetti server, slotted spoon.

I've yet to use the grater.

A great addition to this et would be a paring knife. I got a paring knife & peeler set and it has been wonderful, two great tools.

Like I said, this is a great set if you're just starting out and don't have anything. OXO has worked great for me (salad spinner, spinner accessory kit, magnet clips, apple corer, citris reamer).
