I have used the Bionaire BAP1175 Air Cleaner and Filters for 16 months. I still have 45% usage left. My Vintage Home is on pier and beams. This causes a lot of dust,mold spores and dust mites. And with our new carpet, this adds unwanted airborne chemicals and carpet particles.I noticed a difference within an hour of useage.You will be amazed at the unwanted ordors that just disappear.The quite sleep speed is wonderful.I highly recommend this air cleaner and filters.

We have two units in our home, living area and bedroom. They keep the air clean and the dust down to a minimum. I will always have these in my home or office.

I love Bionaire Air Purifiers! I really feel it makes a difference in my room. I don't have alleregies, but the room air seems fresher. Just a correction on the editorial review above: Fred is wrong! The BAP1300 uses four filters so you need to buy two a1230h.
bap1175 uses two filters so you need one set. (a1230h comes with two) hap675 uses four, hap 650 uses three, hap625 uses two, hap 615 uses only one. So when he said you'll have an extra filter, that's only correct with the hap615. I happened to have tried them all. They are all good and all have the exact same filtration method. By the way, the digital counter on bap1300 is bogus. It does not measure air quality or actual usage. It is just a guesstimate based on time alone of when you have to replace your filters.

I am serious about my coffee and grind my own beans. I have been on the look out for a way to accurately measure the beans I put in my grinder. This does it perfectly. A shorter handle would have given it five stars so it coild be stored in the container.

You wouldn't think that a coffee scoop would make much of a difference, but it does. I am a kitchen gadget junkie and I had to try this scoop . I'm glad I did , it's much better than those little plastic scoops . The length of the handle keeps you from getting grinds on yourself and the shape of the scoop itself actually does make it easier to fill the basket.The scoop fits into the basket better than a round scoop does. The only drawback is you have to keep it in a drawer instead of in the can, but once you get use to that you should like it.

I asked myself this question and I went ahead and bought the Oxo Scoop anyway. I am VERY serious about coffee, possibly even compulsive, nevertheless ...I only buy beans direct from small Kona coffee plantations in Hawaii ...use only a burr grinder not a cheap whirling blade ...blades are for spices, not for coffee beans ...use only filtered or bottled spring water, and, as a result, it puts a premium on getting it right including the exact measurement for the beans ...the Oxo scoop is perfect, priced right, it has a good weightiness in the hand (it could be described as "feel") and it is easy to keep clean ...buy it, you will not be disappointed...

This machine is great and easy to set up and use. I sew alot of home decorating items. The only thing I don't like is that it only has l foot.

If you know where I can purchase more feet for the maching, please let me know. I need a zipper foot to sew the cording on the pillows that I make.

I love this machine. It's just like any other machine, except it has the capabilities of expansion. If singer made more "games" for the gameboy, it may be more attractve. The only bad thing about this machine is that when you use regular sized thread spools, you have to put them on the attachment, because they don't fit in the spool pin. I found intersting the two different sewing speeds. So far, I've used this machine for making clothes,costumes, alterations, and curtains. I would not trade this machine for any other. It's really easy to use.:0)

This machine has excellent stitch quality, versatility, and is extremely easy to use. With the gameboy you can select, combine and even create your own stitches without hassle. It comes with a huge variety of stitches to choose from already programmed, most you can specify size for or use the mirror image. If you are looking for a machine for clothing, crafts, and home dec, the IZEK is your machine!!! I've made everything for my new baby on it and it's still fun to use (I love the ducky stitch). The needle threader is wonderful, it feeds flawlessly, the bobbin winder is great and fast, but definitely works best with good thread. If you want to get the most out of the machine, toss out the old coats & clark [stuff.]The speed control makes sewing tricky spots easier and enables you to sew without the foot pedal, which provides more consistant stitches and frees you to consentrate on controling the fabric. I'll never go back to a foot pedal again. I do recommend purchasing an AC adapter for the gameboy if you sew alot, because it's on during all but straight stitching and is even useful then if you are absent minded like me. The gameboy alerts you if you forget anything or if there is a problem with the machine and automatically stops sewing. Great if you're nervous, distacted (every mom!), drink too much coffee, or are just human like the rest of us. I love my IZEK!!!

If you're like me, when I am grilling - there is grease, oil and many other grilling sauces flying about that would ruin a wood handled tool during the first use. These stainless steel beauties will stand up to your biggest BBQ parties. They have a nice length to them which will keep your hands and arms clear of the BTUs. The thickness of the steel is guaranteed to last, you can feel the quality of these tools immediately.

I purchased these because they matched the 2002 model of Weber Genesis Gold series, but they really would shine on any model or manufacturer.

I've owned this set for over a year, and I can tell you these tools are strong and durable. They are large, easily handling larger cuts of meat. They look nice, feel nice, they've been left out in the rain for days with no problem. These tools will last forever.

This heavy-duty, stainless steel set consists of tongs, a fork, and a turner. They're so sturdily constructed you could use them as exotic martial arts weapons. In fact, I'm working up a cool tong and fork kata right now. The turner doubles as an S & M flail for those into kinky stuff. Enjoy!

I like stainless steel stuff, which means I don't have much Calphalon gear in my kitchen. But this set is stainless steel and the price was right.

The pieces look fairly nice, though obviously not up to the same quality as my prized full tri-ply stainless steel cookware. It felt kind of odd picking up the cooking utensils only to realize that the handles are hollow so they feel less than substantial.

Nevertheless, they are shiny and nice looking, great for hanging up on hooks in the kitchen as decoration. My guests nod in approval as notice this flashy Calphalon set. I don't think anyone has ever noticed the solid stainless steel Oneida laddle and serving spoons that I actually serve with.

Well worth the few dollars I paid for it. Although, it was slightly disconcerting to see the box marked "free gift for you." Apparently, these were a give-away when you ordered a Calphalon set. Nevertheless they are good quality and useful on their own, if you own an 8 qt stockpot.

I bought this set to go with an 8qt stock pot I have. I am NOT dissapointed... and am, in fact, elated with this product's performance. The utensils fit wonderfully in my hands. And, the utensil holder looks great on my countertop! The veggie steamer insert has yet to be used... but, I doubt I will ever regret any part of this purchase. It, at the least, helps complete my kitchen.

I highly recommend this Calphalon accessory set for anyone!

Was a bit smaller than I thought it would be. Haven't listened to the cd yet..it's a small, not extravagant gift. But, may look too small if you are trying to impress someone.

I bought several of these to keep on hand for housewarming or hostess gifts. The stirrers are very cute lemon and lime shaped, and the music CD is a great idea. I was very pleased with my purchases.

Cool Latin beat CD in the package. Large amount of rim salt, so drink up!! Has other receipe cards for other drinks, which comes in handy for the DUMMY bar tender. Glass lemon and lime drink sticks, nice for a wide array of drinks. Will deffinatly get a lot of use from the CD and glass stick and the salt too!!

I was disappointed that the Kitchen Aid grinder attachment didn't include this part as a standard piece. I mean, if you are grinding meat, chances are, you might want to make sausage, eh? This is merely a plastic nozzle that goes onto the grinder. If you don't own a grinder, you need to purchase that as well, so don't be fooled. And I think it is a bit pricey. Hence the three stars.

As far as operation, this works fine, so does the grinder. Overall, the Kitchen Aid attachments, though clunky in some respects, make good use of that powerful motor and keep down the gadget sprawl in the kitchen cupboards and drawers.

Very easy to use once you get it attached...Pretty cool too...just mount the casing and push the meat down and voila! you made your first sausage. You really could use this for other stuffing as well...makes a great evenly distributed grind.

In combination with the food grinding attachment, this accessory for the Kitchen Aid mixer makes short work of any sausage making task you set before it. I've helped friends cook feasts for 200+ people with this attachment and everyone eating was stunned at the short amount of time it took us to make their fresh, homemade sausage.

This attachment beats a hand-crank grinder and extruder easily. And because it attaches to the mixer itself, I've found it far more stable and easy to access than the grinder-extruder combinations that mount to the countertop. With precious little in terms of countertop space, the mixer takes up more room, but the ease of use more than makes up for that. In combination with the food grinder, I can process an entire deer's worth of meat in an evening with this attachment.

Meat sausage isn't the only thing you can process with this fine attachment. Fruit sausages work equally well and the opening in the extruder is wide enough even for larger items. For the more creative among us, you can use the extruder to fill things like balloons and other awkward items much more easily than with a funnel and an extra pair of hands. You'd be surprised at exactly how many things you'll find you can use this attachment for.

The cleanup of this attachment is a breeze. Nothing sticks to the plastic and soapy hot water makes short work of a dishwashing task that would otherwise be onerous on the hand-crank machines. Better yet, throw it in the dishwasher. For the work I've put mine through, this attachment paid for itself based on ease of use alone before I was done with my first batch of sausage.

I saw this item, thought "hey, I can impress my friends with this!" and bought it. Well, the item itself is decent. Quality sprayer and very fashionable. However, DO NOT TAKE THIS TO A CLUB! I was at a local club when an undercover cop saw my spray this into my drink. Immediately I had my legs ripped out from under me, my head hit the bar, and I dropped my martini. I dragged from the club with beers and martini on me, a horrible headache, and everyone pointing and laughing. Turns out, he thought I was spraying an illegal substance in there but later found out it was nothing. He then offered to buy me a drink to make up for what he did, but I refused. I think he was trying to trick me into thinking he was my friend. Makes a great birthday gift!

This , as a gift, made a big hit with a martini-loving friend. It a great conversation starter at your home bar. I think its a fine item if you love bar gadgets and have the room for another one. I don't think it falls into the *i really need this* catagory even tho it takes the guesswork out of a really classic martini... where *dryness* is the goal.

I tend to think of this item this item when I am gift shopping for a friend who loves barware...or is new to martinis...or just setting up a home bar. Its fun, altho more of a novelty and a necessity.

I bought this as a gift to go along with the small salad spinner that I had purchased. Everything sounded great, such as the berry basket fitting both the small and large salad spinners.

It does have a lid for the whole salad spinner for storage but the lid only fits the large salad spinner. It would have been much nicer to have included 2 lids for the salad spinner, one for the larger spinner and one for the smaller spinner. Then the kit would have been fully compatible with both spinners.

Overall everything looks fine and as though its made well but since I bought this as a gift I haven't used it. But my recipient will have an extra lid handy for miscellaneous things. :)

I love my salad spinner and when I saw this set, I thought that it was a useless ploy to get more money. However, when I decided to buy it, I was rather surprised. The set itself is of the same quality as all of my other OXO products. The set fits both the mini salad spinner and the large salad spinner, so you don't have to worry about getting the right set.

I like the idea of the storage lids, but I don't use them often.

This set is the ultimate addition to, in my opinion, the best greens dryer system on the market. The smaller bowl does work very well inside the large spinner, and I have also found, for those of you that also own the smaller OXO spinner, that the bowl fits like a glove, thus avoiding the additional bouncing around that does occur in the larger. A must when washing and drying delicate berries.

The plastic knife is a must when cutting greens, as to avoid those nasty "rust" spots that do crop up when slicing with a metal blade, thus extending the life of your salad for a day or so.

Add the lids, and you have the perfect short-term storage system.

Functions as advertised. Instructions were complete. Could be upgraded by having Sanyo install a thermometer.

The unit visually is the equal of other hardware in the kitchen annex where it sits on a counter.

I am going to install some exterior side wall insulation blocks covered with thin veneer hardwood to reduce cold loss. To the hand, the box insulation must not be quite thick enough to retain more cold.

Bottom line: I would do it again.

The Sanyo 24 bottle wine cooler is about the best on the market for this size. Construction quality is quite good. I managed to fit 27 bottles of cabernet (7 on bottom shelf). The temperature control was perfect with the normal setting measured by my thermometer at 55 degrees, ideal for long term storage of fine wines. I got tired of my wine spoiling after a few months, even in the basement, and the good stuff is getting outrageously expensive. I now feel much more confident in storing. Big thumbs up.

This wine cooler is certainly not top-of-the-line, but it is perfect for the average wine drinker (like myself). It is nice looking, and holds a consistent temperature. One small drawback is that it does not have a temperature gauge built in-- I had to buy one.

Definitely would purchase this again... the wine does taste better!
