This is a filter. Air passes through it due to differential pressure. The mesh like structure impedes the movment of dirt, dust, feathers, bug, hair, etc. This fact may be evidenced by examining one after a sufficient period of use in an environment where such junk is in the air.

These mesh carbon fiber structures should be exchanged periodically for a new unit. The filth ridden one disposed of in a plastic bag, placed in the trash, and hands washed afterwards.

I follow the manufacturer's recommendation to change the pre-filter every 3 months on all my Honeywell Air Cleaners with HEPA filters. These replacement filters come boxed in a set of two. The pre-filter simply wraps around the round HEPA filter, which is inside the unit, and attaches to itself by means of two velcro fasteners. It takes less than five minutes to change the pre-filter. In between changes, I vacuum my pre-filters to remove accumulated dust and pet hair from them. These pre-filters do help to remove some odors from rooms, especially if you are able to keep the space enclosed where you have the air cleaner running.

Be sure to keep a box or two of these pre-filters on hand in case they become back ordered. The HEPA filter needs to be changed in 1-3 years, depending on conditions where it is located.

This filter is larger (taller) than it needs to be for most machines. You simply trim the filter (and it's got pre-made perforations) to the height of your machine. And yes, this means that if you have one of the smaller machines, one which is less than half the height of the pre-filter, you might get two pre-filters for the price of one. Bonus.

These measuring cups are just as stylish as some I bought from a high-end cooking store. Unfortunately, those other measuring cups were so heavy they never got used. These are nice & lightweight. The only thing I don't like about these cups is that the numbers are only on the bottom of the cup (1/2 cup, etc.) But overall they're great!

Loved them so much that I bought my mother a set too. They are very durable, easy to clean and well made.

I love these measuring cups and the Oneida measuring spoons I bought through Target. They are smooth, balanced, and comfortable in the hand. My previous measuring tools were party purchase items that are partially melted. My sister and I buy these measuring cups and spoons for all of our good friends!

The pitcher is very good and professional looking. I especially like the fact that it has a wide opening which make it much easier for milk frothing since I always makes 2 cups at a time. Recently, when I went to a nearby mall, I discovered a very similar design 20oz froth pitcher for less money. It is probably a little expensive, but if you can find it cheaper, this is an excellent product.

Don't get an espresso machine or latte maker without this accessory!!!

Hey, a must have accessory - if you're gonna make the caps, at least play "barista" correctly with the right equipment! We are glad we bought this to go along with the Krups espresso maker.

I recently received my online order of the Shot Steward which was supposed to come with 4 "Elegant Tumblers". The Shot Steward was in the package, but no tumblers. I orderd this in advance for my father's Christmas present. When I called the 800 number to talk to someone about my tumblers missing, I was told to get the return tag off the internet, send back the Shot Steward I had received, and they would send me another full set, tumblers included. Then the nice lady preceeded to tell me it would be 14 days before they would receive my returned item, and be able to send the new one, which would take another 7 to 14 days. My father would hopefully receive his present by Easter.

It is supposed to be so nice to shop on-line, and with a reputable store like Target and Marshall Fields. I hope they run their business, better than they treat their online customers. Thanks for nothing.

This little item has turned me into a Bartender Extraordinair! It was given to me as a housewarming gift and now all of my friends are buying them. This truly does make pouring drinks much easier. It also is a great conversation piece on the bar!

Got a nice handle and opens bottles with ease.

I buy the OXO 19pc set and it didn't come with a bottle opener. I got this and it is great for opening cans of broth when your cooking, or cans of formula for a baby.

The handle is large enough this my hand doesn't cramp up when I'm using it and it is very easy to clean, just toss it in the dishwasher.

I debated this purchase because I originally wanted an all metal design. But after purchasing this model, I became convinced that the soft handle is the way to go. The actual metal part is thick and robust, it has not flexed or bent after opening hundreds of adult-beverage bottles. Price is very reasonable. This one piece started me on an OXO kick!

First of all, do read the editorial review carefully. The decanter is not supposed to be made of glass. On the other hand, it does "look like glass, sounds like glass." Pouring is fairly simple and non-messy, but I believe a bevelled/thinner edge could make it better. Overall, it is adequate as a casual decanter.

This decanter is perfect for everyday use if you drink a lot of wine - it's great for us because we don't have an area to cellar wine, so we decant it to take some of the edge off of a young wine. If you don't drink a lot of wine, this decanter is perfect for a special occasion. Since it doesn't have any decorative cutting, you can really see the wine's true color and the simple shape will work on anyone's holiday table.

I received this decanter as a gift last May. Very slick looking and its nicely constructed. It comes in real handy for everyday use. I like it-- made a very practical gift. As a consumer, I always recommend you shop around for the best price.

Wine charms are no longer a novel thing. It seems like the largest trend in wine accessories of late. You can get wine charms from just about anywhere these days. But these charms are nicer than most. They are hand-painted ceramic medallions on steel rings. They don't have that cheap feel that some others do. They will go nicely with fine crystal and expensive wine as well as with everyday wine glasses and grocery-store specials.

The product is a well thought idea...initially, I thought this is quite a weird little gimmick, but upon actual use, it makes a lot of sense! It definitely keeps track of which glass belongs to whom...keeping duplicate wine glasses and mistakes down to a minimum.

The wine is a perfect gift alone, then add the beautiful glasses. Then the 6 charms can be given to each guest or if its a bridal shower the bride can make a charm bracelate.

Overall, YES this thing works with Roomba with no doubt! But you gotta consider the price is way to high for just a virtual wall unit.....

I bought the Roomba Elite Pro which includes 2 virtual wall units. They work exactly as advertised. Roomba doesn't go across the wall. I can push my mess to one side of the room, set up this virtual wall, and let Roomba run. When it's done, I push the mess to the other side of the room (which is now clean) and let Roomba clean the other half of the room. I can clean the apartment without having to clean-up first. Now, only if iRobot can come up with something that put stuffs back on the shelves....

One annoying thing is, it doesn't come with the 2 DD batteries required. It's not that expensive to include two cheapo non-alkaline batteries with the unit, consider how expensive they sell this thing for. People don't generally stock DD batteries. When we unpack it, we want to be able to test it out "right away".

I FIND IT WORKS FINE ,AND IT KEEPS THE VACCUM IN THE ROOM,YOU WANT IT TO STAY IN.

It works fine except that the juices from the tomatoes leak out. Good for dry things but not for juicy items.

This tray makes big jobs easier. You can get by with the smaller one that comes with the grinder, but if you're gonna be making large quantities, save yourself some stress and buy this tray, it helps a lot.

Since there isn't a photo of this food tray, I'll first describe it to you. It's made from the same white plastic that the rest of the kitchenaid attachements are made from. It's about 10 inches long, The same width as the food grinder tray. The lip is about an inch deep. It slides over the top of the food grinder tray providing a pretty good fit. It's not a water tight fit however.

The tray is nice when you are laddling in things to be ground up. It helps keep the items from falling into the bowl of already ground up stuff. If you are into large batches of apple sauce or meat, its worth getting.

If you are grinding a soup up it keeps the splatter out but the seal with the food grinder is not water tight, so you can't really overload it.

I like it, its well made, if you are a careful cook you can live without it. If you are looking for a gift for a cook who has it all, it would be a good present.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it weird that the amazon review and one of the personal reviews both talks about the joy of being able to drink while holding a loaded weapon?
I love flasks and own this model, it is a wonderful product, but I think I'll leave it at home when I go hunting. Maybe I'll bring it with me the next time I'm in church though...

This is a nice flask and the cups are a nice touch. Mine is well made and I have owned it for years. However, I don't recommend you take it on commercial airlines. Under x-ray in the security line it looks exactly like a mortar round (high explosive military ordnance). You will get pulled out of line, searched and questioned every time.

This is a great product! I bought this flask for my husband and he loves it. Although I don't encourage drinking, we take fill this flask with wine or cognac, and when we go hunting and the weather is bad, there is nothing more warming in the world than a sip of wine or cognac. Good thing that there are two cups, great advantage!

A great convenient yet stylish product. Recommend buying it as a gift to your old man or husband, they will appreciate it!
