I had this knife until I donated it to security at the airport. When went to replace it I found the Rambler. Very similar knife but without some of the tools I rarely used. It has the blad, nail file, phillips/bottle cap operner, scissors, and toothpick and tweezers. Ends up being a little thinner too. Also was a bit cheaper. I recomend the victorinox knives in general, very well made and last a long time. I've got my rambler on my keychain with a maglite solitaire as well and find that very convenient.

This little jewel is small enough to fit on your keychain and yet packed with all sorts of goodies. I'm not quite sure what the "cut & picker blade" is used for, but it sure looks cool. Knowing Victorinox's durability, I'm sure this knife will be on my keychain for a long time.

Has lots of stuff. Has many tools. Almost cut myself when experimenting with all tools at once.

I purchased this item online in September of 2003 and while i have only used it once for entertaining I use the bowl all the time for almost anything. Since it's made of glass it can match any table setting and the glass is very sturdy.

I bought this in a pinch for entertaining and have really fell in love. I had been searching for a Chip and dip set that did not have the bowl attatched and was unable to find one until now. The bowl is generously sized and the platter holds enough chips/crudites for at least 5 people to snack heavily. Another thing is that the glass is thick and fits nicely in the dishwasher. I also like that it is simple b/c it is able to go with any decor.

Don't let your coffee brew all day...this carafe is fantastic. Guests love the design. In the past, though, I have found that most carafes need to be replaced after a year or two or constant use. I'll wait until then to give it a 5 star.

Fantastic product. Well designed for use & cleaning. Does not drip. Most importantly it really keeps coffee and beverages HOT! We use a french press for coffee & immediately transfer to this carafe. It keeps it very hot for 4-5 hours & very warm for 12 hours! The vacuum seal seems to be the secret! Amazing! Highly recommend!

I bought two of this clock because I'm sick of adjusting the time after a power outage.
The clocks sets the time automatically within 5 minutes of powering up. The only weakness is that even with the brightness (dimmer) sets to high, it is still kind of dim, and each LED segment has slightly different brightness. If you put it near the window, I think you may have difficulty reading the clock. However, I put them in shaded areas, so I can read the clock just fine. Still, I wish they can be brighter.
You can pick one of the four US time zones (PST, MST, CST, EST) via a switch. I did not test the alarm or battery backup.
AC cord has a small power brick attached at the end.

I've had the 30731 for about a week and am, thus far, very pleased.

When I began shopping for a new alarm clock, my primary selection criterion was that it have an LED display. Many new clocks have multifunction LCD displays which are nice except that you can't see them in the dark without pressing a button to illuminate them like an LCD wristwatch. Alternatively, some of these LCD clocks have projector attachments that shine a time display on the wall or ceiling, but you can't see them in a well-lit room! An LED display is visible under all ambient lighting conditions and seemed to me the most logical and straightforward solution.

Once the universe of clocks is narrowed to LED models, the next consideration is the size of the LED digits. They run anywhere from approximately 1/2 inch to 1 inch. I'm very nearsighted, so to be able to see the time in the middle of the night without my glasses, is purely a case of "the bigger the better". The 30731 has digits that are .9 inches high - bigger than most other LED clocks and easily readable sans glasses at 4AM. Obviously, the larger the display, the larger the clock, but I have lots of room on my nightstand and was not concerned with the 30731's somewhat larger than usual size (about 8.5"W, 3"D, 4"H).

At this point, additional useful features are the only other necessary evaluation. The 30731 has the ability to set itself by receiving a radio signal from the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) located in Colorado (Do a Google search for WWVB and you'll find them - lots of useful info). You set your timezone and whether you use Daylight Savings Time and the clock does the rest.

I can report that from my location in NY, this works perfectly but you should know 2 things. First, I have found that the clock must be facing East-West (i.e. facing Colorado from NY) for the auto-setting to work. If your bedroom is laid out such that your clock will not be facing in the general direction of Colorado, you might have a problem. (Actually, I think if it faces directly *away* from Colorado, that's OK too. As long as its not "end-on" to Colorado.) Furthermore, as the instructions point out, time signal reception is best in the wee hours of the morning, and that is the only time that, for my location anyway, the clock is able to sucessfully set itself (but it has sucessfully reset itself every night).

My only complaint, and it is a minor one, is that the snooze alarm bar, though large and easy to find, doesn't really depress like a button but sort of pivots front-to-back on a stiff spring and can cause a little fumbling when you're in a semi-conscious state.

The alarm is an electronic "chirp". Loud enough to wake me but not so loud as to cause coronary arrest.

The clock has battery backup for power failures if you put a 9V battery in it (not included).

It does not have dual alarms or weekend settings. It does not display date, day of the week or seconds.

I have not experienced the dim or irregularly illuminated display reported by the reviewer from Redmond. I find it amply bright with all LED segments uniformly lit.

I am quite happy with this alarm clock and can recommend it without reservation.

This wine "cellar" was a great buy from Amazon.com especially with free shipping! I purchased it at only a little bit (just under $...- on clearance) more than the 42-bottle cellar and as such has a great bottle-to-dollar ratio. It looks nice and fits great into the room it is in.

There are a couple of things that are detractions to the product. 1) It is noisy. When it kicks on it is rather loud and stays loud until the compressor turns off again. I am a bit worried about possible excessive vibrations but I don't know enough about the effects of such on wine and its storage to justify my fear. 2) The temperature range is supposed to stay within ten degrees but I find that on occasion it fluctuates a little more than that.

With all that said. I can't complain. I am not a connoisseur, just an enthusiast, and so this wine "cellar" is good enough for me.

This modern wine cellar is an excellent choice for someone for whom a mini-unit storing 20 or 24 bottles wouldn't be enough, but a refrigerator-sized unit would be overkill. We're very happy with our Haier, with its space for 46 bottles, and a sleek black-and-gray design that would blend in with many home decor choices. Standing more than four feet high, it's not for someone with very limited space (or someone who minds a very quiet hum from the unit once in a while), but if you've got the room and you care about how your wine is stored, this would be an exceptional value for your money.

I have owned the grain mill attachment for several months now, and I especially like it for its ease of use and compact-ness. It is so nice to own the Kenwood mixer with its extremely powerful and reliable motor, then purchase the attachments which are far easier to store than an extra blender, food mill, etc.

There is no comparison to milling your own flour as far as taste is concerned. The only problem I have is in adjusting the texture. They make it sound easier than it actually seems to be, although I might just be a moron and haven't quite figured out how to manipulate the dial well. That's probably the case, actually. In any case, the mill is worth the money, and you will likely not find a better deal on it.

I purchased this product about a month ago from Amazon, and it has far surpassed our expectations. Being allergic to wheat, I make all our foods from scratch and find that ordering organic bulk grains is a cost efficient way to do this. I purchased the Kenwood mixer several years ago and having only used well known professional mixers in America. I use this mixer almost daily and the grain mill several times a week to grind three or four pounds of grain at a time. I have burned out several different well known models that were supposed to have superior performance. Frankly, I would put the Kenwood mixer and the Grain Mill attachment up against all of them. Never a problem, great performance, easy to maintain and well worth the modest price.

I originally bought this for stirring mocha's while my bar spoons are in the dishwasher but it's really doesn't do a great job for that purpose... however, as a general whisk in the kitchen for general mixing, this has certainly found it's niche.

Very solid construction and a pleasure to use. I would have given it 5 stars, had it suited the purpose I bought it for -- however that isn't really the intended purpose either :D

This is one of the 'neatest' gadgets I've picked up in a long time. It's wildly unique - people are always asking me about it. It's fairly large for a cocktail mixer, but does work better than any other stirring device I've found. The balloon whisk is just smaller than a golfball, and the handle is roughly 12" long. It's very well made, a good and heavy piece of stainless steel. A great addition to anyone's gadget or bar collection!

I got one of these as a x-mas gift a few years ago and love it! It is especially wonderful around the holidays. I like to make pies and it is great topping on all types of pies. We also drink a lot of flavored coffee and hot chocolate in the winter (its pretty cold here at night) and love to top it off with the cream. I'm not sure about the flavored syrups, but I just add some flavored coffee creamer (international delight or coffee mate) to the container and it makes it taste so good. It is such a hit at holiday parties that I have to borrow my mom's to keep up with the demand. It makes a great gift just be sure to get enough off the cartriage containers or you will run out!

I saw these a couple of years ago in a "What's Hot for Christmas" article. I have wanted one ever since and just recently bit the bullet. I wish now I would have bought my ISI Cream Whipper as soon as they became available. ISI's website has numerous recipes published using Torani flavored syrups. It's so easy to make coffees and deserts look like you had a professional prepare them that it's almost sinful! I tell people that they are the greatest little gadget you can afford to allow yourself to indulge in. Everyone that ever uses whipped cream should have one of these whippers. The taste is so much fresher and better than canned and it's so much easier and less messy than whipping in a bowl (and it won't separate like in a bowl). Now that ISI is offering the 1/2 pint size and it's acually very reasonable...my advice it get one today! You'll use it more than 3/4 of the gadgets in your kitchen that you thought you needed! And don't forget to get a variety of Torani syrups for experimenting and an extra box of chargers because you'll use it more than you think! Three of my best friends and family members are getting one for Christmas...I want to share this exciting find!

If you're looking for some good quality headphones but don't want to spend a lot on top-of-the-line quality, the Koss UR15C headphones are definitely a good choice. The sound is far clearer and the bass is much deeper than in any other economy-priced headphones I've tried... overall they're comparable to other headphones in around the $40 price mark.

The adjustable size headset has plenty of sizes to choose from and importantly, it doesn't slip from one size to the next when you're wearing them. The ear covers are large and you can fit your whole ear inside the headphone (I hate when it sits on your ear, instead of covering it). My only gripe is the cheap stretchy covering on the headphone padding... in any other headphones I've owned, that stuff wears away quickly and starts to tear and fall off... not a huge problem but a mild annoyance. But for $20, you can't expect the highest quality for everything here.

Overall, I give these Koss headphones a 4 out of 5 rating. Good middle-of-the-road choice.

These are excellent headphones. It has a long cord so you can actually have room between you and you're CD Player. And the headphones are huge so you don't have these little cover things and you can barely hear out of them. Excellent 100%

I purchased this in hopes that I wouldn't have to continually wipe the wine drop sliding down the bottle and prevent wine stains on my white counter top...it works great! For the price, you can't beat this gadget. There are alternatives however. I have seen the round discs that you can curl and insert halfway into the top of the bottle, which creates a thinner edge, preventing the "run down" effect.

I gave this as a gift for Christmas, and it worked like a charm at dinner. Not a drop on the table!
