This is an excellent accessory, but should come with one other inexpensive item in the box: a simple diagram about how to install it.

My wife was so excited when this item arrived, but then almost sent it back because she was convinced that it was not suitable for our mixer, a 325 watt 5 quart version. Firstly, our model was not listed as supported on the jacket box and secondly she didn't notice that the two mounting handles are not QUITE opposite each other, so the bowl only fits on the stand one way round. (For us, that was with the mounting hooks facing outwards, not in as you might expect).

A solid, well made accessory otherwise.

The Water Jacket for the Kitchen Aid mixer was something I though was overkill until I bought one. Once you have it you will find more and more uses to make cooking and baking great.

I first used it to help cream butter and sugar for pastry dough and was amazed at how quickly it did the job. My next task was whipping cream for desserts and to fold into pudding. Last and certainly not least was keeping yeast warm and of course the dough. I am convinced that I saved twenty to thirty minutes of rise time when I made my famous kuchen (German cake).

This product is well worth the money if you love to cook and bake like I do.

Kitchen-Aid quality is matched by no other company. I am convinced that with care, my mixer and the accessories will outlast me and be able to be handed down to my children (they will probably fight over it). My oldest son is taking an interest in baking now !!

these are very sturdy carafes, easy to handle and wash. But they will shatter if left empty in an on coffee maker.

The old one lasted three years. It took a very swift collision into the side of the sink for it to break. Thank heavens they are selling replacements, this one fit right in.

I'd give this 3 1/2 stars if I could.
When you first attach the PUR filter, it works beautifully. Water comes out fast, and comes out clean. But fairly soon, and well before the filter is supposedly used up, the filter cuts down on the flow as it gets more and more clogged. After a while it can take 30 seconds to fill up a glass of water. Ours also has a leakage problem that is exacerbated the more clogged the filter is (the leak comes from the plastic covering that tells you how used up the filter is)...Don't know if ours is defective or if this is typical.

We have since bought a PUR pitcher filtration system, and that seems to be more convenient to use because you don't have to sit there like a ... waiting for your glass to fill up.

PUR is superior to BRITA filters, by the way, because they also filter giardia and cryptosporidium, two bacteria that can cause intestinal illnesses. This is especially important if you live in areas with iffy water systems (i.e. St. Petersburg, Russia, which is full of giardia/Mexico) or if you have a weak immune system.

The PUR filters work out to about 25 cents per gallon of filtered water. It costs more to filter dirtier water and less to filter cleaner water.

When you finally throw out the used filter, try cracking it open and having a look at all the nasty gunk that you didn't put into your body. It's definitely worth the price, don't you think?

We recently purchased the Pur water filter that is the horizontal faucet model. It not only works great but it also looks great, too. We purchased the shiny chrome model so aesthetically it blends right in with our faucet and looks fabulous. We had just installed a new faucet not too long ago and the water coming from it did not smell or taste very good. After installing the Pur water filter, the water tastes like bottled water and the odor is completely gone. I had chosen the Pur system over the Brita water filtration system as someone who reviewed the Pur system had said it tackles a couple of bacteria that the Brita system does not like giardia so I was grateful for their input as I didn't realize that. I used to own a Brita model and was never that pleased with the water as far as taste goes, but I am very happy with the Pur faucet model and would highly recommend it. The horizontal model has an easy toggle that enables you to switch back and forth between the filtered water and the unfiltered water for when you don't need the filtered water. The water doesn't flow out as quick when it's filtered but it's worth the wait. The cost was $39.99 but again it seems like it was worth the cost.

This is a fun, handy gadget! No more messy pulling away of the foil with the indelicate tip of the corkscrew. Now, with flair, the foil can be quickly and deftly removed.

Many of my wine drinking guests and companions have laughed at this clever tool but after a few tries of their own, they were convinced. It is a clean, easy way to cut the foil and get at the cork. I would recommend this! Enjoy!

This is probably the last wine implement a person buys (after a cork screw, a bottle chiller, tasting glasses, etc); but the foil cutter really enhances the drinking of wine two ways.

To get at the cork, the foil must be addressed first. Various options include using a knife, picking at it with ones fingers, grabbing and pulling it off all together, or even rudely piercing the foil with the cork screw and rending the foil open as the cork is extracted. All of these options require some slight struggling, which is quite unbecoming when you're just about to sophisticatedly sip some wine.

Instead you could place the foil cutter at the bottle's top, squeeze it lightly to engage its four small cutting wheels (not sharp to the hand) against the foil, and rotate the bottle. Presto - the top foil cap pops off exposing the cork while the rest of the foil remains around the bottle's neck. Thus the cutter makes the removal of foil relatively effortless and leaves the bottle more presentable than other methods.

Why 4 stars? No one really "needs" this, but I loath to open bottles any other way now. This makes a great gift for anyone that enjoys wine.

I love Earl Grey tea and have recently discovered the great TAZO blend. It's probably one of the best "brands" around. But you have to be kidding on the price!! I can take a 5 minute walk to my neighborhood Starbucks where one box (of 24 bags) costs around $4.50. Multiply that by this 6 box bundle and you get $27.00. So what am I paying the extra 2 bucks for, not the dispenser--which is just a cardboard-like box the tea comes! You've got to be kidding me. I thought things were supposed to be cheaper in bulk. C'mon Amazon! You can do better.

I really like Tazo's Earl Grey tea because it is highly fragrant without being overly bitter - an experience I have had with too many Early Greys.

Plus, the tea bags come in a nice box so it is easy to take one bag out at a time and enjoy (without making a mess!). I'd also like to note that the boxes are stackable, if you have more than one type of Tazo tea.

So grab a tea bag and let it steep in your favorite mug for three or four minutes. Take a deep breath and enjoy the earthy fragrant goodness of the Earl Grey. Take a sip, close your eyes, and savor this little scrap of peace before facing the rest of your day...

This product works well for keeping an already chilled bottle cool at the table. Ours won't chill a bottle of white wine from room temperature to drinking temperature. It would probably work well for bringing a bottle of room temperature red wine down to cellar temperature. Our only freezer is the one in our refrigerator. It would probably work better if frozen in a chest type freezer kept at a lower temperature.

This product provide a couple of interesting issues. The first one: You don't need electricity to make it work on your table (No cables on your fancy candle-light-dinner); the second one: It works. All you need is to let it rest in your fridge, and that's it.

Most jiggers are of poor quality....not this one. Predictable German quality.
Beautiful design and quite heavy.
Measures 20ml( 3/4 ounce )up to the flair, 40ml( 1.5 ounces ) up to the top.
It is NOT an American jigger so the measurements are European so keep that in mind. In Europe the standard measurement is 20 ml ( 3/4 Ounce ), not 30 ml which would be our U.S.Ounce.

I use the jigger as a 1.5 ounce measurer...fill up to the top!

One small complaint: I wish the inside of the flair wasn't smooth/polished. It would drain better if it had a brushed surface the same as the rest of the jigger.

This jigger is very simple to use and nice to see. This is a quick operating jigger, best used with a simple Boston shaker and a strainer to fit. If you are starting your basement bar for the summer season, I recommend this one for modern setting, and Hoffritz one (another Amazon item) for all traditional setting. You could also buy a small glass graduated cylinder from lab supply companies for a funky bar!

You fill all the way up to the rim for 1-1/2 fl. oz. (or a bit more than 40ml) and fill to the kink for 3/4 fl. oz. (or about 20ml). You need not flip the side for different measure, and because of the straight bottom, it is easy to measure 1/2 fl. oz. by underfilling.
Once you "calibrate" yor eye, measuring 1 fl. oz. is also easy.
Note that Amazon description of 2 ounce seems inaccurate.

The maximum capacity is 1-1/2 fl. oz. when filled all the way up to the rim. I wish this was a little larger so that my fingers don't get wet even when I measure this quantity very often. It would also be nice if lines indicating 1 fl. oz. and 1/2 fl. oz. were engraved inside.

If WMF designer (or knockoff manufacturer) reads this, please make my dream jigger under under [price] a piece and I'll buy one right away!!

These are lightweight bookends (no L-shape anchor) for small to medium, lightweight books. They are sand-colored, not white as the photograph depicts, and both of mine have a "smokey smudge" in exactly the same place on the front. The details of the windows and balcony are wonderful, but the balcony had to be glued back on one of mine soon after it arrived.

Since my husband and I have started using the BonJour milk frother (almost two years now) we are spoiled, period. Easy to use, it works best with 1% fat milk - but what a difference it makes to that morning cup of coffee (or hot chocolate). Fill with milk to the line on the beaker, insert the plunger - 20 or so plunges and voila! Light and frothy milk. The plunger and base are durable. The only downside is that one must be mindful of the glass beaker. Clean it right after use, and put it safely out of reach. We've had to replace our beaker twice because it's come up against dishes in the sink, etc. And, it's no fun waiting for a replacement.

Good torch for creme brulee. Easy to light and use. Recommend highly.
