I reviewed several air purifiers before purchasing the Hamilton Beach 04160 with UV light unit. With all the misleading information on HEPA fitlers, ionic and electrostatic units on the market it can be hard to find exactly what you need. My son has asthma and we all have air borne allergies. Since installation of the unit, in the family room and bed room, the level of dust has decreased and my son has not had an asthmatic attack either. All air purifiers make noise. I give the level of noise a #2 with #1 being very quite. For the price of the unit, price of replacement parts and the quality of performance Hamilton Beach is the one I selected.

This coffee grinder works as well as other small coffee grinders I've used, and for about the same price you get multiple settings for different amounts and fineness of grind, and a retractable cord, all of which work very well. So clearly it is a good buy. Yet I have two complaints:
1. Since it has an automatic shutoff, it would be better if you didn't need to keep the start button depressed during grinding.
2. Okay, I like my coffee strong, but if this grinds 15 cups they are 15 very small and weak cups. More like three to five cups. It is very close in capacity to other small grinders.

The holmes filters are great. They last a long time considering i leave it running 24x7. Easy to replace.

OK, I work in an area where we have a small office in which 7 people have to have their coffee mugs, because it is the only are where we can have food. Since my weird boss has this thing about things matching, we have a set of "lab" coffee mugs, but since they match, we would resolve to things like wearing different colours of lipstick, just to tell our mugs apart (the men didn't like that one too much), and then the writing on the tape would wear off, so these things were the perfect answer. There is only six in the set, so our boss was the one that didn't get a charm, but he deserved it.

I have this dough hook and find it to be very helpful in making bread. I hardly do any hand kneeding because this takes care of it for me. I sometimes have trouble with it nicking the bowl, but that has more to do with the height setting in the mixer.

In case you didn't see the picture, it doesn't come with a lid. Luckily I kept mine, but wanted to warn others not to toss it, and expect a new one. Other than that, it's the same quality as the original one.

Sturdy, durable frother. Must have for espresso machines. I upgraded my coffee mug makshift frother with this frother and feel it was the best purchase I have made for my morning espresso's.

this is a very nice gift for any newly weds. REcieved as a gift. Live the patter. It's good for everyday use but yet has a sense of elagance. Durability is excellent.

The wide handles make it easy to crack small nuts without hurting your hands. It does not work very well for large nuts since you tend to increase the pressure and when the shell cracks you mash it to a pulp.

For large nuts I suggest the Zyliss model. Having both of these you will be more than a match for any nut.
