This machine does not make lattes or cappuccinos. When I ordered it I had no idea how to make a latte. The manual that comes with it does not tell how to make lattes, just how to froth milk. I had to buy an espresso machine to make my lattes. The froth milk spout(steamer) doesn't work all the time. Most of the time it doesn't produce froth, just warm milk.

...it is an excellent coffeemaker. The coffee is very hot and stays hot a long time in the carafe.

This is a mediocre machine that makes steamed milk and coffee. However, it is advertised as a latte maker. It does not make latte's. Personally, I think it is false advertising.

A Traditional "Latte" requires a shot of espresso and unless you have an espresso machine you can not make Latte's with this product. I had to purchase an additional espresso machine to make Latte's with this product.

Buyer beware.

We've made tasty, frothy hot chocolate. We didn't realize that the coffee holder is a thermos rather than a holder that sits on a heating element, but it works well.

This is an expensive ice bucket. It actually takes up to 20 minutes to chill a bottle of wine with this device ! Do not waste your time or money on this product. It is the most foolish purchase I have ever made :-(

Have you ever tried to chill some champagne or sparkling water fast by sticking it in the freezer for a few moments, forgotten it, had it ruined or had it explode? If picking out shards of frozen glass from your freezer instead of enjoying a perfectly chilled beverage is your idea of a good time, then pass on this product.

Sure, an icebucket does the job too. BUT if there are times you find yourself ready to drink a bottle of white wine or a bottle of champagne(perhaps one brought by a guest) and the wine or the champagne you have is not chilled, AND you don't have tons of ice in your freezer, AND you're not in the mood to run out to the 7/11 for a sack of ice, pull out the Vinchilla. Just throw in a tray or two of ice cubes, add water, turn the dial and watch the gentle swirling of the water as it chills your bottle of bubbly to perfection.

Remember, wine experts agree: it is NOT good for wine to sit in the refrigerator for a long time. A quick chill is the best way to preserve its integrity.

Half the people on my Christmas list are getting this as a present. The price on this can't be beat.

I bought the vin chilla as a gift for my wife and there hasnt been a day gone by that it hasnt seen some use. Not only does it chill the wine to perfection but it also can be sued to chill canned drinks such as beer and soda, and it even fits champagne bottles not that I have had cause to use it for that. This thing also can be used to raise the temperature of bottles of red wine that have gotten cold, or take the bite out of soda if your kids have sensitive teeth like mine.

A brilliant gift and well worthwhile investment. If you know a wine buff which would you prefer to buy them a bottle that goes immediatly or to buy them something they cxan use over and over again. ...

My advice buy it.

While we love our Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffee maker we are disappointed in the "flimsy" plastic top. The pins have broken on 2 carafes and it becomes dificult for the coffee maker to brew "into" the carafe. In talking with others who have the Cuisinart Grind & Brew we have found this to be a common problem. We are staying with the Cuisinart Grind & Brew line, but we are placing our order for the "new" Stainless model.

The handle broke on mine. I washed the pot a couple of times in the dish washer upper rack, and that removed the trimming on the handle. This weakened the handle, and it eventually cracked.

I was given this coffee pot for a gift and thought why grind coffee when you can buy it already ground....coffee is freshest tasting ever and no bitter after taste. Unfortunately I dropped the glass pot on the counter and it shattered. I had difficulty finding a replacement pot, but, WAHLA, Shop AOL had the pot and the option of black or white.

there are 2 major things wrong with this (and every?) holmes product i have been 'duped' into using. it is much like when you buy a printer, the initial unit is a mere downpayment for all the cartridges you'll need if u use it 'normally.' the holmes air purifiers i have been intermittently stuck with do help clean the air and thanks to the standardization of the hepa filter (and no thanks to holmes), work fairly well. the downside is they are extremely difficult to clean (i think i used an entire package of qtips) and you have to take the damned thing apart yourself to do so (hence i cleaned mine once and dumped it) if you like cleanliness, once you look inside the thing you'll be prompted to do likewise. the reason why it's popular seems attributable to one factor: it is cheap. seems like a good idea at the time. then u start buying the filters and attempting to maintain it and realize what a poorly thought out piece o' junk the actual unit really is. be smart, spend more and get an air cleaner from a company that cares whether or not the unit can be cleaned after you buy (slantfin, bionaire, honeywell). hope this helps save others from a dirty business.

As a smoker, I thought I woud try and clean the air in my livng room so I bought 2 of these because I liked the easy removal of the filters. Was I in for a shock when I went to buy the replacement filters. Who would beleive a years worth of filters costs as much as the air cleaner. I would like to see the price of these come down about 50%. It would almost be worth buying a new air cleaner so you don't have to clean the inside of the machine.

This little air filter does make a big difference
I have been using it for over 3 years ever since i got stationed near Tokyo Japan and believe me, nothing has more polluted air then japan. It made a big difference there and now im san diego and it makes the night sleep go a lot smoother.

An attractive set, but very thin, EASILY breakable glass. I'm down to 5 glasses & no bowl. Also, the glasses are irregular-they're all different sizes. bleh.

The set is nice to look at and probably fun to use, but I probably won't ever use it. Who want's thin glass at a party where people may (will probably) get drunk? The glass of the container is really thin. At first I thought, oh well, I can just use the container as a vase (it is a nice shape for one) but the glass is so thin at the top I don't really want to mess with it sober either.

If you are clumsy (like most drunk people) don't buy thi. It is a blood letting waiting to happen. However, the Vodka glasses do seem sturdy enough though, and if the price stays at [$$$] the set is worth it for that.

This set is wonderful. I went to buy it for my brother but decided I just had to have it too. Its a great value and a perfect holiday gift.

Two different places in this product's description say that it is recommended for use with hair dryers when traveling in foreign countries. That's what I bought it for. But the 50-watt minimum is a problem, because the package warns that it cannot be used with products that have built-in electronic shock protection (i.e., a GFCI). That rules out any hair dryer sold in the U.S.! I guess if you plug it in before turning the hair dryer on, the GFCI is going to get fried because it will not consume enough power for the voltage converter to work.

The converter is fine if you are using it for a hair dryer or some other appliance that consumes more than 50 watts. This means you cannot recharge your shaver or camera battery. Check the manual before you buy.

This is a nice product with good value. It contains all the plug-ins needed for using 110v appliances (within the prescribed wattage range) overseas.The travel pouch is handy and the instructions are very clear for the first-time user of this type of product. The only criticism is that this converter uses a built-in fuse to protect against overload rather than a circuit breaker; if you blow the fuse and have no spare, you're out of business. One might consider spending just a few dollars more and buying a similar product with circuit breaker technology. For the price, however, this product works well and is a good value.

This product held so much promise but failed to deliver. 50,000 words might seem like a lot but the really tough words, the ones you really want to know the meaning of, are not in this dictionary. Also, one must spell the word they want the definition for nearly perfectly to get any definition at all. Even if the word is spelled perfectly, if that word is not in this dictionary, it will give you the meaning of any other word that has some of the letters in the word you want to know. I think that the idea is great, the gadget is easy to use and it makes a good bookmark however, it is a poor dictionary due to its very limited vocabulary.

As a 50,000 word electronic dictionary, I couldn't expect the world of this device, but I had hoped it would be more handy that it turned out to be. About half the words I needed definitions on are not to be found in this dictionary. Based on the words I have found, all of them common usage, I have decided that I think it best serves someone in junior high or elementary school, and is possibly helpful for the high school student, and of very little or no help for the college student or college graduate. I have an old Oxford Minidictionary (approx. 0.5" X 3.5" X 5" in size) with 50,000 words in it that has served me far better, so I have brought it out of retirement an put it back to use.

The Zelco Bookmark Dictionary definitely cannot serve as a bookmark, since all you have to do is pick the book up, and it slips right out causing your place in the book to be lost --- annoying. At least it's small enough and thin enough to fit in a pocket.

The liquid crystal display is big enough to read, but is not as clear as it could be, and needs to be read under bright light. When reading definitions, I found it rather hard to read the entire definition as you scroll through it, as the font gets kind of blurred.

One thing that is good about it is that if you aren't sure of the exact spelling of a word, it can pull up words that have similar spellings, if it doesn't find the specific word itself.

The calculator function is something you might only use in a pinch, since the placement of the numbers is not great.

The clock and alarm functions are handy.

Overall it's great idea that needs more work.

The concept is great-while you read you can quickly check the meaning of unknown words. However, the read-out area is very tiny and difficult to read. It should be made larger. Also, I thought there would be a hook on the underside of the book mark to grab a page. There is not. This causes the bookmark to just slide out when in transit due to the slippery material it is made from. The manufacturer could make this a better, more functional device.

I have owned this machine for well over a year now and cannot bring myself to make coffee in it anymore. I regret buying it, but mostly I regret not sending it back immediately. The first few brews were very strange tasting, almost metallic. I thought perhaps it was the built in charcoal filter being used for the first time and that it would taste better over time. BIG BIG mistake! It has not gotten any better and by the time I realized this Amazon.com would not take it back (30 day limit) and Capresso said I could send it in to their plant for them to check it over. That sounded fair to me until I found out it would take 6-8 weeks plus I had to pay all shipping and perhaps "repair" costs. I paid [$$] for this coffeemaker, gave my old one away, and was faced with going without one for 6-8 weeks for them to "repair" it. I rate this coffeemaker very poorly and I rate Capresso equally due to poor customer satisfaction policies.
I currently use a coffee press and am looking for a good auto-drip machine. In the meantime this machine was a big waste of my money and currently resides in my garage until I can get the courage to throw it and my [$$] out in the garbage.

I have had this coffee maker for about 18 months and have been very pleased with it and the coffee it produces. It has been trouble free. I have had Krups and Braun coffee makers in the past and was disappointed with their durability as both stopped working within a year of purchase. The only thing that prevents me from giving it 5 stars is there is no removable water container and you must pour the water directly into the machine. I sometimes "overshoot" the amount intended and have to adjust the amount of coffee but that is due to my inattention, not the coffeemaker. I would buy again.

The "free" coffee thermal included with this outstanding coffee machine is worth the price of admission. This coffee maker is the best we have had on our kitchen counter in many years and we are impressed with the high quality of this brand. Of course it brews great coffee at exactly the correct temperature. We also own a Capresso automatic espresso maker (C1000) so we are familiar with the wonderful attention to detail and above average customer service.
This is not only a great value for our own home but a really good, affordable gift for weddings, etc.

This product simply does not work. The vacuum is so weak that it does not preserve the wine, even for a day. I have used a Vacuvin for many years and it is a far superior product at a far lower cost. We bought this item because it appeared to be easier to pump than the Vacuvin -- and it is. The reason: it doesn't preserve the wine. I am seeking a return and refund, either through Amazon or Metrokane.

I bought this, although I already had the Vacuvin vacuum pump, because it looked more durable and easier to use. It IS nicer looking than the white plastic vacuvin (although it's grey plastic not metal), but it takes more pumps to create a vacuum and the vacuum is much weaker than with the vacuvin. since the metrokane is also twice as expensive, you'd be better off buying the vacuvin.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it! It works much better and faster than standard vacuum devices. A few quick pulls and you're done. My husband was never patient enough to pump 15-20 times with the standard vacuum device. He really likes this one because it only take 4-5 pumps. He really enjoys using it and ACTUALLY uses it.

I order four of these, but they sent me ASIN: B0000959GD (Pedrini Black & Satin Shot Glass), instead. The boxes were improperly labeled in the warehouse. I took a refund, rather than try to fight the goliath that is Amazon's distribution system. I don't recommend ordering this, unless you're willing to accept the other product.

It took a month and a half for this item to arrive.
It doesn't look anything like the one in the picture.
It has 1/2oz and 1oz lines, not a 1 1/4oz line.

though maybe you'll get a glass like the one advertised.

No chintz here. Just the essential, quality, heavy-duty old fashioned shot glass. With just the right amount of "heft" to make measuring and/or shot-drinking pleasuring a certified "breeze". Get one or two for your home bar and be sure to break this baby in with some aged single malt or Southampton Gin. A#1 for the price!
