The grinding is OK, But you can't touch the unit with out getting coffee grinds on the counter, etc.,doser is useless ! cost me over $100. putting a paper towel under it & holding it together while grinding(as said in other reviews)is a bit lame for a unit of this price !

The interchangeable doser is very messy. I only use the storage container and no coffee leaks out. In my opinion for $49 this grinder is a great deal. It arrived a couple of days ago and I have been using it non stop. Grind setting (#1) works great with my espresso machine. So far so good.

This grinder produced a perfect fine grind to make espresso and also Automatic drip coffee. It is like having a coffee shop in your kitchen every morning. You haven't had coffee until you have had it ground fresh with this grinder.

I saw some complaints about coffee grinds shooting out of the container. This can easily be avoided by pressing the bean container against the unit, thus eliminating any grinds from leaving the bean container OR automatic doser.

Excellent product and any espresso or coffee lover would be lost without one.

PASTA, I THOUGHT THE MOTOR MIGHT FIZZLE OUT IF THE WHOLE BATCH WAS MADE AT ONCE! WITH THE TIME/PREP/CLEAN UP INVOLVED, BUY THE NOODLES IN THE STORE!

I found the Kithchen Aid Pasta Maker to work fairly well. It is very mportant however to follow the pasta recipe that comes with the attachment. If the dough is too sticky or too dry it may not extrude as well. Overall, I am very pleased with the pasta maker's performance. Clean-up was a breeze, just a warm water rinse ans a little detail picking with the included cleaning tool.

I am now looking to buy this again as I did have one before. In response to some of the bad reviews I do have some suggestions I have found work well in working out some of the difficulties. It helps alot if you dip the pasta plates first in italian dressing or even just warm water in order for the pasta not to stick as it extrudes. I did buy a one piece pasta machine that does it all for you but found it took far to long and many of the platic parts were far to cheaply made and began breaking off. This attatchment is very durable and can withstand years of very regular use. The love of my life being a very large Italian man loves pasta alot and it can get mighty pricey to buy fresh pastas in the store and dry noodles can never compare to the taste, variety, and vitamin content of fresh pasta. As far as storing them for later use I often spray my food dehydrator with cooking spray and dehydrate my own for later use. There are a variety of cookbooks on the market for pasta recipes and most do have recipes that work better than the ones that came with the product. On a last note- a tart press works wonderfully for making homemade ravioli and doesn't burst so easy from over filling like the traditional ravioli press does.

I have been using this product for over three years. I read in bed almost every night and this light allows me to read without disturbing my husband. I've never had to change the blub. I've changed only the batteries on several occassions.
However, the light is fragile. I dropped the light still attached to a book and the thin plastic book holder broke off. I now have to use a small plastic vice grip. So I am looking for a replacement. But after reading all the other reviews, maybe the new Itty Bitty's are not made as well as mine. Hmmm.

I bought this light to read in bed. It turns out I use it just as often sitting in our family room because it provides excellent light on the book no matter where I sit and thus makes reading much easier due to less eye strain. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to it's high battery useage (one book almost used a set of 4 C batteries). I am buying the AC adapter and it will soon pay for itself.

I've used these lites for yrs and perhaps it has saved my marriage.

But the biggest problem is each of the 4 I've owned develop a short
in the electric cable where it joins the body of the lite.

I thought for sure they would redesign this and eliminate the problem.

Also, these expensive bulbs start out brite and get dimmer &
dimmer. They also pulsate at times.

I have a Kitchenaid model K5SSWH Heavy Duty Mixer and they do not fit over my 5 qt bowl. I regrettably only read the editorial review and bought these covers thinking I can snap them on. I use them to loosely cover my attachments now, but I could have used anything for that.

I see that other reviewers had the same problem I did with the lids not fitting. The problem is that you ordered the right part number but amazon sent the wrong part number. The bag the lids come in is used for 2 different part numbers (KBC5N and KBC90N).
I had ordered the KBC5N but the bag was marked with and X for the KBC90N. I returned it and the replacement was the same way.
I bet the warehouse has the wrong part in the wrong bin.

I think when the right lid is used they will be nice.

I have a white Kitchenaid Heavy Duty 5 quart mixer with an extra bowl and attachments. The covers fit exactly as designed, nice and secure. These covers are extra convenient when letting yeast rise. They are very handy in covering your attachments keeping dust and other particles out during storage. I recently ordered a new Kitchenaid 6 quart Empire Red mixer that I am surely in process of ordering bowl covers for this fine machine, also!

I purchased this product to steam my Borsalino hats. After 5 uses, it stopped steaming. Rowenta told me to put water in it and hold it upside down and press the steamer button 4-5 times. I tossed it in the garbage. Extremely disappointed. Sure I could have sent it in for repair, but that would have cost more that the amount I paid for it originally.

Try to spot them. They have the same hype and cheerfulness. I will put the average rating to keep the status quo.

I bought one, and I like it. This is ideal for travel or for someone like me who hates to get out the ironing board while getting ready for work in the morning. Unlike some steamers, it can be used with regular tap water. One fill of the water reservoir should get you through around 4-5 items.
Please don't think you're going to get a professional steamer for $40! Notice that none of the portable steamers on Amazon have high ratings. It won't make your clothes flawless, but it's pretty darn good -- you can steam things on hangers or just throw them on the bed -- you won't have to worry about new creases appearing on the reverse side of the clothes like you do with your iron.
Oh, and just take the faceplate cover off, it isn't very useful.

Sorry to say that I have to agree with everyone else. It's a great looking machine, coffee was good, but........The carafe broke just 3 months after I bought it. I spent another 3 months trying to track down a replacement carafe. The carafes are [high priced], paper thin and just about impossible to find!
Very disappointing and frustrating.

Can't find replacement that is in stock.
So either I wait 3-5 weeks or buy a whole new maker!

... I have been using this coffee maker for the last four years. My carafe has managed to deal with all the rough handling that comes with being a kitchen appliance. I am only considering replacing it because the lid has become so stained.

Alas, the Cuisinart 7 blades have fixed rods and so this storage unit is useless. It should NOT be listed as an accessory on the Cuisnart Amazon page!

This is listed as an accessory for the DLC-5 7-cup food processor on special. However, it works with all Cuisinarts *except* the DLC-XP, DLC-X, DLC-5 and LPP. This would have been nice to know in advance!

I am the happy owner of a Cuisinart DFP-11 Deluxe 11-Cup Capacity Food Processor. My only complaint was storing the blades and disc. I use to store my blades in a drawer and cut my finger not realize that one of the blades was facing upward. This product is perfect for the type of person who likes to keep things organized as well as protected. When I saw this item I knew it would be the wisest solution for my dilemma. It is wonderful to know that my blades are in a safer place and easier to access.

Can anyone write a description of how you put the discs in this as each disc has a white plastic tube that seems to interfere? I know I'm terrible with spatial relationships--please help!!!

you don't list what size cuisinart it's for: 7, 11, or 14 inch food processor. Who's going to buy an unknown piece of equipment?

If this holder is bigger, it would been a better design. I would definitely recommend the bigger one that [Amazon.com] has for sell now. When I bought this item, [Amazon.com] only has this one for sell, so I went ahead and bought it. I wish I could return it and buy the bigger one. But I believe I am a little too late though. ...

I've noticed that if I take a teaspoon of bleach and put it into a full resevior of water after about 3 or 4 weeks into a new filter, that I get almost 2 months out of a filter instead of the usual month. There is a little bleach smell the first day or two but it goes away quickly.

The HWF65 should work with the following Holmes models: HM-1850, 1845, 1855, 2059, 2060/W, 3000, 3800*, 3850*, 4000**
I have the 2060W and it works fine. generally, they don't last too long, though.

Have been wanting to get the pasta roller attachment and ran accross this plastic pasta maker at the store. Was really excited since it was in my price range. Took it home and tried to use it. My KitchenAid mixer starting smoking and so I let it rest for the hour. Upon removing the attachment I found oil and black rubber or grease was all over the inside of the attachment. (on the coil thing that pushes the dough through) Next time I wanted to use my mixer to beat egg whites it had no power. I sure hope this inexpensive attachment didn't ruin my wonderful mixer. Highly disappointed with KitchenAid on this attachment.

I bought this product before the pasta roller was available. I find it very hard to keep the pasta strands from sticking together as they come through the grid plate. I would definately pay a little more and go with the pasta roller.

I just started using the pasta plastic dies with the food grinder attachment on my KitchenAid artisan. I must say that it is easy to extrude the pasta dough thru the plates contrary to what others here will have you believe. My first batch of fettucini came out okay but the noodles got stuck together. It was my fault for not resting the dough 15 minutes since I ran it thru the extruder right away after kneading. Cleanup is fairly easy. I have only tried the basic egg noodle/pasta recipe. I will experiment with samolina flour and see what happens with that dough.

This is definitely a lot easier than the manual pasta roller/cutter combination.
