I didn't buy this comforter...I bought a simlar one for much more at a retail store. DARN! I have Pacific Coast pillows at home...we bought them after staying at a great B&B in Pacific Grove, CA. We just had to have the pillows. I'm a light sleeper and my wife is pregnant, so she hadn't been sleeping well...until we got the pillows and the down comforter from Pacific Coast. No settling, very warm, and less bulky than our other comforter.

I love this comforter. It is very warm. The down doesn't shift.
Can't beat the quality for the price.

I bought a Pacific Coast down pillow about 2 years ago in a department store and was extremely pleased with the quality, even though it was a bit pricey. When I won a substantial email-redeemable gift certificate I decided to get that new comforter I'd been "dreaming" about and shopping for. When I saw Amazon sold Pacific Coast, I jumped on it. I have had it for about a month, so here are some thoughts:

1. This comfortor is a large queen and fills the duvet cover.
2. It does not bunch up or slide down to the bottom of the cover and leave you cold at the top.
3. It has this great ability to regulate temperature so I never feel stifled.
4. Even though it has a substantial weight to it and you don't feel uncovered, it feels very light, almost cloud like.
5. Not even a hint of allergic reaction.
6. It is downright fluffy!

With the addition of a flannel bottom sheet and a fleecy duvet cover, going to sleep is true joy. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. By the way, don't be scared by the price- I have decided that the pillow I bought 2 years ago is virtually indestructible after numerous pillow fights...not a speck of down has peeked out!

The weight and density of this comforter, as clearly described in the sales blurb, is ideal for three-season use when the temps and humidity start to soar. Drag out the thick down jobs for the sub-zero winters, but enjoy this lightweight, patterned spread otherwise.

When we lived in a colder climate I can remember piling on blanket after blanket in an effort to keep warm - what a heavy way to sleep!

Now, granted, we're in a friendlier climate but all we need is this soft, lightweight down comforter. It provides both the right amount of warmth and is surely comfortable.

If you live where there are cold, harsh winters, you would probably want a heavier comforter. But, for warmer areas this is perfect.

I bought this comforter 5 years ago and I absolutely love it. I found a great number of down comforters to be too hot for the Southern California area. However, this is a perfect year round comforter. Use a cotton duvet to keep the comforter cool during the spring or summer...and flannel duvets during the fall and winter to keep it a little warmer.

A great tip I got from Pacific Coast Feather Company (this comforter's manufacturer) is that if you find yourself getting a little too warm while using your comforter, just uncover your feet to cool off.

I was looking for a down comforter that was good for warmer weather because I live in Florida. I thought that this comforter would be what I was looking for because of the fill weight of 22oz. Unfortunately, it is too warm for me to sleep comfortably. I love the way the comforter looks and feels, but I am having a hard time sleeping.

I had previously bought a heavier weight (30 oz) Pacific Coast comforter and it was too hot, but I knew it was a quality brand. This comforter is a lighter weight but still feels luxurious--...

really nice feel and material...

I always have trouble keeping this cover on my comforter because the buttoning always comes off. I've tried to re-button different ways, still no good. In addition, one of the buttons actually just came right off and i had to sew back on.
