Rave review for this heater.
Unit works right out of the box. Just add fuel and plug it in. I doesn't get simpler than this. With the optional thermostat you just set it and forget it. It'll outlast you on most jobs with a full tank of fuel. Safe and economical performance. (just don't point the end at anything that'll burn). A safe distance is around 4 or more feet in front where heat comes out. I don't know what the maker recommends but that distance works quite well for me. Now I wouldn't leave the building with one of these running for any period of time. Outside there's no problem heating in the general direction where you're working. This thing throws quite a bit of heat for it's size. It is noisy and you won't be able to talk on the phone when using it in the same room, but for utility heat nothing compares. I've seen places that used those hanging heaters replace them with one of these things.

Best room heater-quiet, less dry air, ECC works wonders...
This oil filled heater is well built without any exposed sharp fins or corners. 2 timers can be set independantly A/B. Each set timer has a selection of how many hours or minutes you want it running after it is activated: 45 mins, 2 hrs, 4 hrs, 8hrs. Digital LCD read out displays current time, temperature that you want it to heat the room to in Feirenheit, a bar graph showing min, med, or max output, a red bright light to indicate the machine is pluged in and remains on all the time, a yellow bright light indicates that the timer is set to activate.
just a few buttons to use and very easy to understand which includes temperature +/-, timmer on/off, hours and minutes, mode button is for on/off and to control the ouput min, med, high.

I used the heater for a week and it turned out to be much better than the regular delonghi heater and better than what I thought.
What I like best is it is not only is it quiet but it actually thinks and varies the output from high, med and low by itself so you save on energy (delonghi claims 18%) and the constant temperture is maintain much better. other oil filled radiators swith on and off from the highest setting to off to maintain a constant temperature but in reality it feels like hills and valeys in the temperture meanning it driffs too cold at times and when the heat kick in it too hot at times. The ECC of the machine does a wonderful job of tackling this problem.

spend the extra $50 it is worth it and the design and bulit quality permint long life and maintance free. you'll get back some of the money thru the saving on your electic bill. you can see it switch from high to medium to low. for example lets say you set it at 75 on high by timer. at the program time it will turn on at high then at about 73 it would reduce it's output to medium and then at 74 it would be at low. vice versa when temperature drifts lower. will go to medium and then high as temperature drifts cooler.

Warm Heat Quickly
This heater does a great job. One of the advantages of this
heater, the coils are built into the heater at an angle so
the floor does not get hot. Very durable.

Amazing little heater... And it's really quiet!
I initially bought this heater ('furnace') for my trailer. I wanted something small that would heat the space effeciently. And I wanted something QUIET. We were tired of the roar from other types of heaters, and this has been a great unit. My wife in particular hates the roaring and rattling from the other heater, and asked me to find something better!

What we have been impressed with is that there is no longer these huge temperature swings - 75 for about ten minutes, then suddenly you notice that it's 60. And then your old noisy heater finally roars to life. Not with this heater.

The great thing is that it doesn't run at the 1500 watt rating all the time. It adjusts itself so that it only uses the electricity necessary to heat the space that it's in. Most of the time, we can't hear it running, nor can we really tell that it's on, except for the pilot lamp. I have to say that the really great thing about it is that it is very quiet, even when it's running at full blast!

However, this does have a down side. It does run all the time. But as it runs, it is sampling the air moving around it and constantly adjusting itself so that it only heats as much as necessary to keep the space comfortable. And this means that it is running, even though the fan is just barely turning over, at a very slow speed, to sample the air temperature. I wouldn't let this keep me from buying it, however. When it's inactive, you can't tell it's running. It comes with a 5-year guarantee, so Pelonis must really have faith in this unit.

All in all, I really recommend this heater. There is a reason that this is the one that everyone copies. Our trailer no longer goes from 'Honey, can you PLEASE turn up the heat' to 'Please let me open a window, Dear, I'm sweating'. The thing we've really noticed is that the temperature is really nice and even, even in the back corner nooks and crannies.

And that is the really great thing about this heater. It keeps you at the temperature you set, and there is no more freezing or panting for air. It takes a lot to convince me to write a review like this for Amazon, but this little heater has me won over!

And for the summer, you can remove the heater element and insert an empty substitute that lets you use it as just a very quiet fan and circulator.

It comes with a spare filter, (both are washable) and the fan insert. That's good news, if your heater is like mine, where it sits for a while and when you need it, it suddenly smells like burnt hair. Not with this unit. The filter keeps the dust and junk out of it, so that it should have a nice, long life.

Great product for a great price
I live in an old house with no central air & heat, so we heat room by room. This heater is perfect and being able to wall mount is a must with kids around. It's very safe and you can mount it high enough that kids can't reach. Have tried other wall mounts, but this one is best by far. Heats a 12x12 room quickly and well (and with door open to that room, knocks the chill off of adjoining one), even on coldest of nights. Timer is very helpful too. The fans blow well, so circulates air very well.

Only product improvement I could recommend is ability to use an air filter in or on it.

Purchased one to try. Will purchase more for other rooms.

    Great for cup o' noodles
If you want hot water at your disposal, this is great. If you eat a lot of cup o noodles or cup ramen, this one can already provide you with hot, almost boiling temperature water. I think it'd be great for tea addicts and those to-go soups where you just add hot water. A bit pricey, but thats how the made in Japan Zojirushis are...worth it..also, look to get descaling pellets so that after you use it for a while, you can clean it out and get the fresh taste back and get rid of the chrlorine.

Ohmigod - a product that lives up to its claims!
Jim and I just bought this as one of our 'post-Christmas presents' to ourselves for our bedroom. You see, the heater in our apartment works wonderfully -- as far as the kitchen. The heat just doesn't make it to the bedroom, the temps of which usually fall to Antartica-like levels. Well, this heater is GREAT! The fan circulates the warm air around the room nicely, and you can put it very close to the wall - doesn't take up much space. It doesn't get HOT but makes the room quite comfy before bedtime. I wouldn't want to sleep in an overly warm room anyway! We have been turning it on about 45 minutes before bedtime so it gets the room nice and warm. I highly recommend this heater!

    EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT PRODUCT !
This heater is wonderful ... I started with one for my computer room and Idaho winter-cold feet - then one for the new garage workshop - and now one each for our all-season front porch and sun room. The heat is so gentle it's hard to figure out how it manages to evenly warm an entire room, but warm it-it does. The mfc. info mentions a 10x10 room in 15 min., but it will even do much larger rooms - it just takes a little longer. Although not inexpensive, this compact unit can handle just about any setting you want - including a fan-only for light summer cooling. A Biiig product in a small package! Ideal for any situation. Probably best product for the money I've purchased.

    Wow!
I bought this heater as my room is basicly in poarch in Minneapolis. :) Though my room has one heat register that was able to help this heater out.. I actually rarely turn the heat register on. Heh.. infact I only turn on the extra heat register when I come home from work and want to "blast" my room with heat so it is comfortable. I go from seeing my breath to comfort within 20 minutes. I am hot within 40 minutes. Believe me I use this heater in extreme conditions! :) I've not bought any other heater ever, I just read the Amazon reviews and bought this one... but this one behaves just as I wanted a personal heater to behave. It is niether loud, nor dangerous, yet just keeps kicking out a solid stream of heat for my room.

    Wonderful small space heater
Been using this in a truck camper for 10 years, on and off, and it has never failed to provide comfortable coziness (albeit, with a bit of noise, to be expected from such a small unit with a high speed fan). Point is, it works, superbly. Wish I could find more, I'd buy half a dozen without batting an eyelash. It appears that others did not share my enthusiasm. John H.

Two units handle our toughest heating challenge
We have a medium-sized sunroom with uninsulated glass on three sides. I bought two of these wall units and they keep the room comfortable even at outdoor temperatures below 20 degrees F. (In fact, our terrier, who likes to sleep on the cold porch, complained - he wouldn't go out to bed until I turned one of the units off.) One is plenty for ordinary rooms. The cord-free, cool-touch design comes about as close to toddler-proof as any heater we've tried. A great price for a handy unit.

    Adobe Wall Hugger Heater.
I have bought 3 of these heaters. They are excellent!! The heater plugs directly into the socket. No wires. The plug on the back of the heater can be turned so the fan can accomodate a socket in either direction. Works on a thermostat. Great for bathrooms, smaller scale rooms or small areas. This item is a keeper!! Must be reordered--keep this in stock!!! Nothing like it on the market!!
