I was of course impressed with the way my Rowlett looks on my kitchen table but I was unhappy with how long it took to make a piece of toast; 3.5 to 5m !! After some days using it I came to the conclusion that it makes better toast by going slow. The toast is crisp on the outside as with any other toaster but inside there is a much more palatable texture; more like fresh homemade bread, less like a cracker.

I went on a quest to find this oven thermometer after it was ranked by Cook's Illustrated magazine (the Consumer Reports of the culinary world) as the most reliable, accurate thermometer on the market. It's unfortunate that Amazon.com doesn't have it at this time, but it's worth seeking out. It generally costs under $15.

I had gone through several of the cheap, dial-display type oven thermometers - the ones you'll find in the supermerket. Most didn't work at all or were not accurate or reliable. The Taylor Oven Guide sits or hangs horizontally and has a blue alcohol-based fluid (like an old-fashioned thermometer) to show what temp. the oven has reached. The alcohol fluid is safer than the old mercury - I doubt you'll find any mercury thermometers on the market any more. The fairly large display is easy to read and delivers consistent results.

Most people probably never think to check whether their oven temperature is accurate - but it can make a big difference, especially when cooking something like a turkey! Spend a few bucks, and be sure you won't have to cook your bird an extra hour or two on Turkey Day.

Americans, we read, are drinking and enjoying more wine. So, whether you're a newbie to the wine aisle in your favorite supermarket or a dyed in the wool oenophile who sniffs and swirls, chances are that bottle stoppers are a necessity for you.

Bottle stoppers are as varied as the wines themselves - from high end sterling to cowboy chic to kitchen gadget cute. These are user friendly and always reliable.

Just bought this mug about a week ago and am very pleased so far.

Pros: The main reasons I purchased this one (for a couple bucks less than Amazon has it listed for, at Ohoris Coffee in Santa Fe) are because it is very tightly sealed and "leakproof" and because it has the narrow bottom that will fit in my cup holder in my car. Those are the two main reasons, but since getting it I realize that I'm also VERY happy with the wide top that allows for very easy cleaning as well (this is a BIG PLUS in my book).

Cons: I'm not sure how easy to clean the sealing top will be over time (I just run lots of running water through it as much as I can). Also, occasionally the top will make a "hissing" sound when there's hot liquid in it and I've drunk a good deal of it, but it doesn't seem to be as bad as another sealed top design mug that I have.

Other: The top lid "locks" very tight and seems to be very well designed. Also (important to me), is that the rim is very smooth and rounded and pleasant to drink/sip from over and over.

Finally, it has a screw on/off bottom, to help stabilize the mug, which I figured I'd just leave off and/or lose at some point, but it actually does come in handy when I set the mug down on carpet or some other softer surface, to keep it upright... on hard surfaces you don't need the screw on bottom, as it's quite balanced and stable even without the bottom "flange" screwed on.

Finally, the handle took a little getting used to, as it's curved inward. I use my pinky finger on the outside, because putting all four fingers on the inside makes it harder to drink out of. Once I figured out to do that, it works great. I also like putting my whole hand around the cup, with the handle down over the back of my hand, that's quite comfortable too. (There are drinking holes on both sides, so this mug works when drinking left-handed or right-handed.)

Overall, an excellent mug so far!

It's certainly not leak proof, but if you 'prep' it with hot water before pouring in your drink it will keep drinks warm (with the lid slid shut) for about five hours or so. It sucks you can't put it in the dishwasher but this is consistent with all other vaccum-mug products. The price is a little better than the Nissan but I suggest considering their 14oz travel mug if you don't mind having a handle or looking like every college student on the street.

These stools are very nice for the price, they have a comfortable white fabric seat, they make my kitchen table look much nicer! I had tall bulky seats which were annoying, these fit right under my table light and easy to push in and out. I do have one drawback that is why I didn't rate it a 5 the measurements for the stools which Target gives, maybe they are measuring from the bottom but the cushion area is a square 13x13 and one of my stools has a small chip in the wood under the seat which looks as if it was done when the cushion was attached. But these are small mistakes compared to how much more nice it is to sit at my kitchen table now and delivery was very quick, packing was also very good overall I recommend these stools! and Target! Thanks! :)

This product works great for my cat. I dont have to worry about hairballs anymore!
