I've used this mostly for cleaning accidents my small dogs have had now and then. It works okay- but neither the spray nor vacuum is very powerful. After only moderate use for the past year and a half- it is already broken. It basicallly will not re-charge anymore so is useless now.

I think the idea of a spot carpet cleaner is a great one- but if you're going to invest in one at all, I definitely recommend a better quality, higher powerd one than this! :)

This little one is a good spot cleaner. I have had mine for about 3 or 4 years and it's still doing it's job. It does a great job on pet accidents. It lost a star because it's spray isn't always even. I also wish it would have come with a second small brush attachment. I know you can order one, but I have never gotten around to it.

Having installed many ceiling fans, I just opened the box up, and started putting it up. I never thought to check if all the parts were there, and perhaps that was my fault. However, after installing the fan, and getting ready to attach the pull chains, I noticed the chains were not in the box. This was also the time that I noticed the finial and the plate to hold the light cover up were also missing. Having it already installed and working on the ceiling, we decided not to take it back down, pack it up and send it back. We figured we would call the 800 number on the instructions that says to call if you have any missing pieces. This was our biggest mistake, we should've just returned the whole thing. Upon calling, and after being on hold for 45 minutes, an operator answered who was very rude and implying it was our fault the pieces were missing and stated that the parts were out of stock, and wouldn't be available for 2 months.

2 months came and went, another call, 30 more minutes on hold... Another rude operator, another 2 months for the parts. We asked to talk to the supervisor, who of course wasn't in. We were told that if we left a voice mail, he would call back. We never heard from them again. 2 months later, a package did arrive from them, there was a finial inside, but no pull chain nor the plate to hold the light cover on.

To make a long story short, it took 6 phone calls, all with excessive hold times. We left 4 messages for the supervisor, as they were never in the office. Never did they call back. 8 months after the initial purchase, the plate to hold the light cover on finally arrived. We never received the pull chain, and gave up on it. Pull chains are easy to find.

We initially decided on Hunter due to their outstanding reputation, I have no qualms about the fan itself. It is indeed an outstanding product. If they could get their customer service in line with their products, they'd be a hit. The fan did come with a balancing kit, I've never seen that in cheaper fans, but I didn't want to balance it until all the parts were installed, so we had a wobbling fan with no light cover for 8 months.

We'll be replacing 6 more ceiling fans over the next year, and the Hunter brand will not even be considered.

Bottom line; Ensure all parts are in the box before installation, if not, send it back. Don't call the 800 number for missing parts.

I had the hardest time finding a modern ceiling fan in a cream color.. all I could find was white. When I found this model on Amazon I ordered it right away. Not only is it functional (supplies a nice cool breeze on warm nites) it is so very pretty. The lamp diffuses the lite and the blades cast a romantic shadow on the ceiling. I also ordered a compatible remote to go with it. Its quiet and has a dimmer. It was worth the price.

This product was defective when I received it. The holes drilled in the fan blades were too big for the screws which attach the blades to the brackets. The company's solution was to send me rubber "grommets" to fit in the fan blade holes to make them smaller. Unfortunately the grommets are too big for the holes and I cannot insert them. I have yet to be able to assemble the fan completely, although the motor looks attractive on the ceiling without the fan blades (not)! The problem has yet to be resolved. Anyway, what would happen in five years when the rubber grommets deteriorate and the screws pull loose sending the fan blades flying?

This is a great fan... There is an area for optional light kit instillation. If you do not hook it up to a 3 way dimmer switch you'll need to chang the pull chain every 5 years. It is very easy to install.

I used Iams dry cat food for well over ten years. In a very short time period both of my male cats developed bladder infections. That is when I learned that Iams had been sold to another company, who, in my opinion, might have cut corners on their ingredients. Also during the same time frame my dog, who had been eating Iams dry dog food for five years, suddenly developed diarrhea and an upset stomach; she got to the point that she stopped eating completely. I put them all on another big name food and they haven't had a problem in over two years.

...My cat does. I am going to assume this is good stuff because when I shake my cats food bowl she seams to run to it and eats it.

I serve this to my cat and you should too!

My dog went thru this toy in about 20 minutes, shredding it to pieces. A toy that can't stand up to a 50 pound dog for more than 20 minutes is junk and not worth the money.

I bought the smaller version of this toy for my 55-pound rottweiler/shepherd/retriever mix, Argo. This dog has chewed apart many other rubber toys but I am pleased to say that this one has lasted and lasted. Argo has a great time playing with the chain either by himself or with me. He runs around swinging it, tosses and catches it, and chews on it. We play catch, fetch, and tugging games with it. I think that the size and shape of the toy are what prevents the dog from demolishing it and can easily imagine that the larger rings would be more vulnerable to biting. I have no regrets about buying this toy and have recommended it to my favorite dog supply website.

I ordered the Krups shoe polisher with some amount of excitement after seeing it featured in a number of magazines and catalogs. What I received was a relatively weak handheld rechargeable unit, and a purpleish plastic box designed to mount to the wall and hold the buffing and cleaning pads. Despite following both the instructions that came with the unit, I found it 100% impossible to achieve a satisfactory shine using this machine. I also tried applying shoe wax by hand (instead of using the brushes in the set), and then buffing it off using the unit. This also failed to work well. To make matters worse, the unit actually took me longer to use on my shoes than it would to do the same process manually, and failed to come close in matching the results. I've since returned this product and gone back to my old natural bristle brushes, which produce a vastly superior shine on my shoes. I would definitely not recommend this for most people. Take your money and go buy a brush and shoe polish instead. You'll save [money] and be much happier with the results.

An excellent kit for keeping those shoes nicely buffed. I also found an additional useful feature when I accidentally dropped a coin next to my home shoeshine kit and it told me that word on the street was the Gambinis had been taking heat from the DA's office on account of that business with Frankie the Snake.

Do not buy this flatware because they suposse to be made in Germany and its says on the back KOREA. Do you think that this product has the same quality that the one made in Germany?

When I received this flatware, I was a little put off by the "made in Korea" stamp after WMF CROMAGNON, a famous trademark from this German company. But after using it for nearly a year now, I am impressed with the durability of the very highly polished surface and the strength of these slender and graceful implements.

This is a classic pattern, but the way it looks on the table is better than in photos because of the way they sit on a flat surface; very graceful. The pieces are a little lighter than my old Oneida, but the Oneida will bend if put to the test and these do not. Constant washing in the dishwasher hasn't dulled the gleaming finish and there are only one or two scratches (when steak knives were thrust blade down into the flatware holder in the dishwasher).

While they are made in Korea, they seem to follow WMF's tradition of quality and great design.

This item was included free with the purchase of the Metrokane Rabbit Corkscrew with Foilcutter (Excellent Item) and it's a good thing. The very first time I tried to use it the rubber/plastic peice on the end broke off dropping to the bottom of my bottle of wine.....Very cheap plastic item, reusing your cork would work better than this item.

I have found that the Velvet Champagne & Wine Sealer lives up to its product name. It seals wine and champagne bottles air-tight, because it expands as you turn it. This means that, unlike other stoppers I have tried, it works on any size bottle. I recently sealed a half-empty bottle of champagne, and a week later it popped when I opened it, as full of fizz as the day it was sealed.

I noticed another reviewer of this product complained that it broke the first time he or she used it. The unit was obviously defective. I would advise returning it to Metrokane for a free replacement.

I would not recommend this...it does practically nothing here at our house to repel mosquitos.

As a birding writer at BellaOnline.com, I've tested many, many anti-mosquito items in my quest to bird without being bitten. The Coleman mosquito deleto actually seems to work reasonably well!

This device is maybe 6" tall and is cylindrical in shape. It's powered by two AA batteries and has a VERY quiet fan in it. You put the repellent (provided) in the bottom of the base, and turn it on. I swear I couldn't tell the fan was even moving until I held it right up against my ear, so it is whisper-quiet.

The box claims that it repels in a 100' radius. I certainly wouldn't agree with that - we still saw a few mosquitos in near us. But the volume of mosquitos did seem to be far less than usual. We had friends over and had a full dinner outside without being bothered much at all.

Of course, if you're out and about, you can't really carry this unit with you as you go. It's best suited for a sit-down situation where you can put the unit in the center of the table. It doesn't create a noticeable aroma, so it doesn't make the entire area smell of pesticides. Coleman says that the chemicals it emits interferes with the mosquitoes' ability to trace carbon dioxide and other human emissions that mosquitos follow.

I'd definitely give this a try in your environment and see if it does the trick!

I ordered these beautiful shelves based on the color as they were pictured rather than the fact that they listed as "natural wood shelves". I was so disappointed to open the box and see how light the wood was. They are beautiful shelves and will work very well in your home if you are looking for very light wood shelves. As I stated before, I truly thought the shelves would be the color of those pictured, and was extremely disappointed in the vast difference in color.

I purchased two of these shelves and I really love them. I hung them above my soft and placed a small picture above each shelf. I havelined the shelves with small tea light candles, holiday decor items, etc. It's a great change from the traditional "big wall picture above the sofa." The value is great (best price among competitors) and I get lots of positive comments!
