I bought this set recently to replace my 6 year old mismatched utensils, and I'm very happy with the purchase. The tools are visually pleasing as well as have a "solid" feel to them. I've washed all of them several times in the dishwasher (top rack) and they came out just fine. All of the tools are a good size, and the spatula is really long and angled at the tip but doesn't bend easily like cheaper ones. The spoons (one slotted, one regular) come to a bit of a blunt point so they are good at getting everything out of a bowl/pot. The container they come with is heavy enough to not topple over with the weight of the utensils and looks great. Considering the price and gaurantee, this is a good deal all around for people (like me) who just want a decent set of tools to display and use in day-to-day cooking. Put this one on the counter and leave your spares in the drawer.

Half of my house has hardwood floors. This duster works as a quick sweeper and do not leave any grease or fine dust on the floor.

I bought my Porter Cable vacuum because it is a quality product that PC put some thought into as to what it would be used for. This is also true of something as simple as the bags for the vacuum. They are of a heavier paper then I have seen on other products which should allow them to hold up to the nasty stuff. The other feature which is very simple but VERY useful is the fact that you can seal the bag as soon as you remove it from the vacuum. Typical Porter Cable product, excellent.

After the first use of the Porter cable square foot exhaust filter I was amazed at the amount of dust that wasnt allover my shop. I am using this filter in a home built filtration system that I built from plans that I found in a magazine. With each use I find that this filter works better than any other filter that I have found. Another reason that I will buy another one when needed is the ease of cleaning. This is by far the best filter that I have found on the market.

I have an older model Porter Cable vacuum. (model #7810) After having the vacuum for a while, I liked it so much that I wanted to get an accessory kit so that I could do a few more things with it than just using it primarily as a dust collector for my sander. I bought the 78110 accessory kit about three months ago, and since then have been completely satisfied with it. The thing I like most about it is that it has metal extensions rather than just plastic extensions like many of the other competitors. The different brushes and wands have enabled me to use this for a ton of different applications ranging from vacuuming my car to cleaning up some of my furniture. Overall, this has been a great investment for me! Great job Porter Cable!

I received the reading pillow for Christmas this year and I absolutely love it. I'm recovering from brain surgery and am once again able to read like I used to. The pillow is just what I needed to support my book and help me read. The fabric is so soft and the cotton straps hold the book in place so I can set it down at any point or place and know that my book will be safe and still on the same page. My daughter and son-in-law gave me the pillow for Christmas and I must say I have received many wonderful gifts but this has to be one of the best ever. I never knew this product even existed but I am so glad someone thought of it. I would recommend this pillow to anyone and everyone. I consider this to be the perfect gift. Margo

It's super sturdy, and made of recycled bicycle parts -- very smart, people. It's simply the best use of an old bike and the classiest recycled product I've ever seen! I'd love to know how they get the parts to look so dazzling -- it really fits my husband's office decor, which is modern, but somewhat art-deco.

Everything old is new again, and so it is with pressure cookers. The feared relic of my mother's and grandmother's kitchens has returned. We all feared it's reputation for exploding and scalding us as small children, but some improvements in technology have removed virtually all the risk.

My wife, who shares those frightening memories now uses our Russell Hobbs without even squinting when pressuring down (oh, that dreaded step just before opening was just like defusing a bomb in the old days!). It has become a part of our weekend cooking arsenal we wouldn't want to do without.

The quality here is the very best, with a magnificent aluminum exterior that cleans up easily while seemingly remaining quite scratch-proof, and an interior that is Teflon-like and also simple to clean. The 8 quart basket that actually holds the food is effortlessly removed and cleaned in minutes with warm water and soapsuds.

The technology demands more than a casual scan of the complete and easily understood users' manual. There are digital adjustments that can be made and readouts of such things as pressure and temperature that can be called up as needed on the wonderful green luminescent display screen on the machine's front panel. Also, one wants to fully understand how to depressurize before opening, though relax, it is impossible to open the machine until the pressure has dropped to nearly ambient numbers.

Now, why use a pressure cooker at all? Because it is faster than anything except a microwave, and nothing you put in a microwave will ever taste as fresh and juicy as it would were it cooked in one of these devices. The food is not only delicious, it's also healthier than any other means of cooking.

So it was, the pressure cooker was grandma's microwave, laid aside by the microwave's glitzy technology, but like the Terminator, it is back, and with a vengeance. Microwaves beware, cooks enjoy. Bon apetit.

The plates are well-made, solid, with a beautiful but subtle finish. The detail of the plates is lovely.

I like the old separate foam wet filter and paper cylinder for dry pickup, simply because cleanup of the foam filter was so easy and you could get all the gunk out of it. I have used my shop-vac to empty a small manmade water feature with a pond in the backyard. The seaweed groaties washed out of the old foam wet pick up filter completely.
With the new materials being used for filters on various equipment, the new multitask (wet/dry) filter is alot more durable but still harder to clean than the simple foam filter.
There is also the extra expense. This type filter costs more initially.
Oh well, the cost of progress, I guess.
All in All, I still think Shop-Vac makes the best shop / wet-dry / worksite vacuum on the market.
