This is a sure fire way to keep that natural homemade taste all the way into December. It jells up the same as the add sugar stuff.

It isn't as refined as the Panasonic model of fish grill but this one seems to do its job.

I received this blade for Christmas '03, and fell in love immediately.

It has a beautiful feel, weighted perfectly, a subtle convex (rounded) edge that rolls nicely over herbs. The handle is easy to hold, it melts into your palm, with a notch for your index finger that's just as comfortable. The blade keeps its edge very well; much, much better than my other brand name carver. I bought a sharpening stone to keep the edge up, and I'd use that about once a week.

Think I'll be looking for more pieces in this range now, after using this one so much since Dec.

This knife takes some getting used to - initially it seems too long, too wide, and too flimsy. But now, after using this knife for almost a year, it is my favorite. The Furi hold an edge well and is infinitely easier to use that either a German cooks knife or a Chinese cleaver. Fast. Easy to clean. Easy to sharpen. Highly Recommended.

This pattern is totally beautiful. I bought two full sets from Macy's four years ago, and they are still in tip-top condition. I use them everyday. I still have eveything I started out with, knock on wood, and have begun looking for other pieces, just in case.

If you are interested in a small espresso machine, that is relatively inexpensive, and can produce amazing quality coffee, this is for you. It has push buttons to turn it on, to turn the pump on, and to turn the steamer on. This machine produces better quality coffee than Jura Capresso's S9. All semi automatcs, no matter how cheap, can produce amazing quality espresso that beats out any super automatic machine. This machine in particular is small but produces wonderful quality. This machine can also be equipped with Gaggia's ESE Pod filter basket which allows you to use Illy pods to make making espresso even easier. Although it is a wonderful machine that is well built, it does have a few bad aspects - the water reservoir is too small, you have a wait time between brewing and steaming (same for many super automatics) and the machine isn't exactly beautiful. Although it isn't beautiful, it is small, which is unusual in espresso machines. Overall this is a great machine, and if you are interested in good espresso that only takes around 5 minutes and a machine that will last a good 10 years, go with a Gaggia. This particular model is very similar to the Gaggia Classic, which is about 100 bucks more, and just has bigger everything. It can make wonderful espresso with ease and is VERY reliable. GREAT BUY!

Well, having tried several lower end brands/models I finally took the plunge and laid out the $$$ for this Gaggia. I can tell you that I feel it is worth every dime! My fiance and I really enjoy a good cappuccino and with this unit we weren't let down. Nice large water reservoir single and double filter baskets, tamper, pretty much everything you need to get started making great coffee is in here. For me one of the biggest gripes I have was that serveral units' filter baskets don't stay in the holder when dumping the grounds. Not so with this one. You have to hit it pretty hard to get the basket to pop out along with the grounds. No more sifting through the garbage looking for the filter basket!

All in all I find this to be a great functioning, well made unit and would recommend it to anyone.

We've had our Gaggia machine for over 10 years, along with this wonderful grinder. Nothing beats Gaggia's quality and price. The grinder works perfectly every time. I've NEVER had a problem with this machine. Highly recommended

In terms of a Super Automatic machine, this machine certainly pulls its weight by boasting a bypass doser which allows you to put pregroud coffee into a chute so you can have decaf when entertaining. The two push buttons are wonderful. This machine is superior to Gaggia's top of the line because it heats up the water faster, it is less expensive, makes the same quality coffee, and has an automatic rinse cycle (Gaggia may be putting a rinse cycle in their top of the line but not sure). This machine is the way to go if you are interested in being able to push a button and getting a good cup of espresso. VERY RELIABLE!

But before you go thinking this machine will give you the best quality possible, you should continue reading. If you want the best quality of coffee, you will want to go with a semi automatic machine instead of a super automatic. The semi's boast more control over the coffee, as well as the fact that they will last longer. Super automatics generally last 5 years with good care. Semi automatics generally last about 10-15 years.

Overall this is a wonderful machine, and makes creating wonderful espresso at literally the push of a button. Maintenence is basically nothing, so if you want a machine that is easy, this is the way to go. One complaint is that the instruction manual was translated directly from Italian to English so the manual is hard to understand. The machine is very easy to use and takes no time to get the hang of. In the end, if you are willing to sacrifice ease of use for quality, go with semi automatics. If you are willing to sacrifice quality for ease of use, go with this/super automatics. But as super automatics go, this is one of the most reliable, well built machines out there. After a lot of research, this machine truly probides the most "bang for the buck." Great machine!

There are too many great things to say about this little device: It's affordable to anybody, even if you are a student stuck living at school. It's compact, you can store it anywhere--a closet, your car, your office, the kitchen cabinet. It's powerful--I have plugged it in and in just minutes began working on an entire three course meal for six people with only this unit to work with. It's easy to clean--this is one of the few products out there that is every bit as easy to clean as the commercials show it to be on TV. It's is economical, using very little electricity to do a just that would waste electricity in a conventional oven or even an older model microwave oven. It's versatile--I have cooked everything from thin pieces of tempeh strips to thick steaks and it cooks both to perfection. You never would have been able to convince me to buy anything on TV before (and most certainly not from a former boxing champion...) but since a friend both this grill for me I have thanked them time and again (and in turn bought the same gift for many a friend of my own).
