So one could use these slighter larger plates as dessert plates, small luncheon plates, or as salad plates mixed-and-matched with a white porcelain dinner pattern. Another use of Willow Blue (or the antique pattern of Blue Willow) is in platehangers as pretty wall decorations or in plateholders in a china or curio cabinet. In any case, this set would make a lovely addition to one's collection.

Wow! It didn't go flat on me. This is one of those simple ideas that should have been thought of years ago when they first invented plastic soda bottles. Screw it on and pump it up a little. Your open bottle of soda will now last up to a week or more. Made right, they last a long time too. Have fun!

The bamboo contributes a subtle flavor to steamed food. You can make shu-mai dumplings and steam them in this steamer--use commercial wonton wrappers from the grocery store. The filling is often minced shrimp, cornstarch, ginger, sherry wine, scallions (which now are suspect for bacteria, so use chives) and a touch of sugar. You can also use minced pork. Shu-mai are great appetizers for a party and easy to make. Push a tsp of filling into the center of a wonton wrapper and make a little bag. The top can be left open and a green pea placed there for garnish. Steam until meat or fish is solid and cooked through.

Exellent tableware, stylish and practicable.

A wok ring and round bottom wok is practically useless on an electric stove. If your stove is electric, this is a great choice. The steel is good quality and this is an excellent wok for the price.

I've had the Joyce Chen scissors for at least 15 years. I use them all the time for everything in the kitchen and elsewhere in the home. Great for cleaning and cutting-up chicken, trimming vegetable, etc. Although they are not large they do not bend or warp and have stayed sharp all these years without sharpening. Always amaze me.

I highly recommend these for every kitchen.

This is the best fan that I have ever owned. It was very easy to install just as advertised. And it is very quiet. You don't even know that it is on. Very powerful. Creates alot of breeze.
