I recently purchased this food chopper, and I just love this thing. I had been using a food chopper from Pampered Chef and was never satisfied with that one. It was uncomfortable to use and too light for the task. In two years, I had replaced parts three times.

This chopper, although smaller, is heavier and much more durable. The large plunger is indeed quite comfortable and it chops like a dream. Perfect for those quick meals or small chopping projects. And as an added bonus, I could find a color that matched my kitchen.

This chopper is wonderful and well worth the small price.

When you've had something for a while and still love it, you know it's a great product. I keep trying to figure out how to arrange things so I can get at third. I have two of them stacked. They can also be mounted under a cabinet. Spices say keep in dark, cool, dry place. These containers have a view hole large enough for you to see if your running out, not like a glass container that allows complete light exposure. Also, I almost never use my measuring spoons anymore. The containers hold slightly more than the store bought containers.

This is a wonderful grooming tool. The long flexible fingers reach through even thick fur to massage the skin below. The material coaxes out more loose hair than you would have believed was there. There are no sharp edges, so you won't startle or hurt your pet.

The only downside to this product is that the brush doesn't hold on to hair very well once it's removed it from the cat, so you might prefer to use it outdoors.

When I was younger, all the kids who had broken bones got white plaster casts - nowadays, they have all sorts of colorful models to choose from to make a broken bone not an entirely negative experience.

Whether your dog has been injured or has just come back from spay or neuter surgery, these "Elizabethan Collars" are a great way to keep them from biting and chewing at a wound or stitches, but still enabling them to see where they are going and to easily access their food and water. Having different color options is great - these were originally only available in clear in the past, so the dog could see the stitches, but not reach them. Dogs can only see muted colors at best, but there's nothing wrong with their owners wanting to color-coordinate.

I take my coffee brewing seriously. I purchased, brought home, and subsequently returned, 2 cuisinart coffee makers before trying this one. I actually wanted to splurge on a premium brewer and was willing to spend a couple hundred dollars. The much more expensive cuisinarts had serious design flaws that I couldn't live with. They tried to incorporate far to many complicated parts and pieces to make the cuisinart a highly reliable, durable, and long lasting machine (something I absolutely require). Krups, on the other hand, uses a simple yet modern design including a double water filtration system and a clock timer so I can wake up to the smell of hot, fresh coffee (two more things I require). I've been using this Krups daily in my home for six months or more and I have no complaints, only praise.

The first coffee maker I've owned that actually produces hot coffee. Reasonably priced, stylish and doesn't require a lot of counter space. This is a great bargain for the money!

If you make applesauce, this is an essential device to remove the skins and seeds while pureeing the cooked apple mass. It also rices potatoes, a way to make a fluffy potato mix for duchess potatoes and to avoid the lumpy and gluey mess that mashing can sometimes produce. It's also good for making toddler foods.

This is the best grater I've ever used for pasta, because it gives you big, fluffy flakes of Parmesan cheese, and it's also perfect for chocolate shavings on desserts. This product recently got a great review in The New York Times.

I LOVE this tool!!! It helps me make the best shoe-string vegetables. The results are "professional". This is so very easy to use and clean, that one forgets one is "working" in the kitchen!!! I love this tool so much, I have purchased it as a gift for other cooking enthusiasts!

What an amazing piece of equipment!! Since this cooker arrived in my kitchen, I have used it to prepare tender pot roasts, amazing corned beef and cabbage, spicy lamb vindaloo, ratatouille soup (a new soup for me--my family devoured it) and the richest, most satisfying mushroom barley soup ever. Here in New England, where six months of the year cry out for comfort food, eveyone should be required to use this pot. The food emerges flavorful, with excellent texture, and is ready in a fraction of the time of conventional cooking. The technique is simple, not at all dangerous or intimidating, and cleanup is a snap. After using this a few times, I purchased the Risotto Pot as well, and found that all the laborious steps involved in preparing this dish are eliminated, and the end product is superior. Invest in two books by Lorna Sass:Cooking Under Pressure, and The Pressured Cook, for outstanding, crowd pleasing recipes that are easy to follow, use wholesome ingredients, and yield generous servings while providing many useful tips and techniques for getting the most out of this cooker. Definitely worth the investment.
