If you have never owned copper pans, be warned, maintaining copper is different than maintaining average cookware. If you want it to continue to look great, it is going to take a little post cooking time with commercial copper cleaner or vinegar & salt.
I have a lot of Calphalon and All-Clad pans I have used for years. Both of these brands are excellent and will provide a great cook surface. However, if you are willing to deal with a little extra effort to keep them looking great, nothing cooks as well as this product line.

DO NOT buy the thinner copper (<2.5mm) since it dings easily.
i recommend the tin linings as they are a few dollars cheaper
and the tin will last the lifetime of the pan if you treat
it like a non-stick surface. the stainless surfaces do not
heat as uniformly as the tin.
slowly but surely i will replace ALL my clad stainless and
copper (i have all clad, calphalon & analon) with
this brand.
