Actually, it's my mother's cat, and I'm watching her, much the chagrin of my dogs. She has short hair on her head, but from her shoulders back, she has long silky white hair and a fully plumed tail. She does such a good job of grooming herself, she almost never gets matted fur, but once in a while there will be a place she can't get to that gets out of control. That's when I started brushing her - and she loved it so much, she doesn't care if she needs it or not.

I thought the metal teeth on this brush would be too harsh, but the round coated tips give her a massage she just loves. I hold the brush in front of her, and she runs toward it, head-first, rubbing her head on it, and meowing for me to continue brushing the rest of her. I don't know if all long-hair cats like to be brushed, but our cat goes ga-ga over this brush.

I really love this scale! I use it twice a day, every day and love it. It is big enough to hold a bowl, saucer, or jar of something, but small enough to leave out on the counter.

· Easy to use: just press "on" and you're ready to go!
· Easy to clean: wipe with a paper towel or rag
· Easy to read: display panel is easily read in any light, and either displays lbs/oz or metric units

... not to mention that its stylish design and perfect size make it the best scale I've dealt with.

The ONLY downside so far:
The scale can be zeroed in mid-weight (say if you've already weighed one ingredient and are adding/weighing another) but you have to be smarter than the scale. Pressing the button does cause the scale to "weigh your finger" and sometimes it won't zero out BECAUSE your finger adds weight! I know, silly scale. But it's not hard to figure out how to tap it so it doesn't glitch. Still a really good scale in my estimation!

I love to sit at my computer and drink JAVA while I work on my newsletter and website. I am constantly thru out the day running back & forth to the microwave to reheat my coffee cup, NOT ANY MORE this is a GREAT ITEM! I just hooked it up today and am LOVING IT! 5 STARS from me!

I've had my Sango Nova Blue Stoneware for 10 months. It is fabulous. The value for such excellent quality makes this a must have set in any color. My stoneware looks as if I had bought it yesterday! I'm now searching for additional pieces to complete my set. There is so much to choose from. Everything from canisters to lasagna bakers coordinate!

These are the perfect size! We love it and it's the perfect match to all of our other Nova Brown Items!

Forget Grorge... this Sanyo grill is a great bargain. It's larger then the Grorge Foreman gill and cooks better. The fats drips into a tray and very easy to clean.

Scanpan Titanium is made in Denmark. It is one of the best lines of nonstick cookware on the market, mainly because the pans have a ceramic-titanium surface which is bonded to cast aluminum. All other nonstick pans work with one or more layers of traditional coatings which over time will start to peel, scrape or blister.

These pans have heavy-gauge, perfectly flat bases and can be used on electric, gas, ceramic and halogen cook tops. All Scanpan cookware, glass lids, and handles are ovenproof to 500º F. This is a feature unmatched in the industry.

In order for me to describe these pans to you, I would also like to compare them to my other favorite: Calphalon Professional Nonstick pots and pans. The nonstick qualities of Calphalon are superior, however, Scanpan is superior for moist heat cooking and for cooking in the oven.

I love both of these lines, so I have compromised by buying some of each. Scanpan does not have superior nonstick but has incredible durability and stay cool handles. Calphalon has superior nonstick capabilities but has less durability; also the metal handles get incredibly hot and I have to use hot pads, which I find annoying.

As a result, for frying I recommend ordering the 13-inch griddle and the multi-use 5-quart sauté pan from Calphalon, which has many uses. You can still use the fry pans for sautéing or frying, they do brown items nicely, however, cleanup is not as easy. You can scrub them with brush, but they no longer recommend the metal scrubber.

When comparing prices of pans, never go with the cheapest set unless you plan to buy more than one or two sets in your lifetime. So far, I have had three sets of cheap nonstick pans. I discovered I spent more in the long run with cheap pans. It is a balance of functionality and endurance. These two brands are the ones I use in my own kitchen and can say they do a fine job. They are heavy and that is why I love them, they are not perfect...but what is?

When Calphalon makes a nonstick set with stay cool handles that has the same durability and weight I would consider a change. Until then I use Scanpans and Calphalon. Scanpan pots and pans do very well on flat cooktops. No spinning!

My clothing purchasing and my dry cleaning trips have all inevitably benefited from the use of this Scotchgard Protector. You ever struggled with a tempermental bottle of wine that did not want to get popped? Well, I have. When I was Christmas shopping a year or so ago, I saw this at the wine store, its demonstration seemd easy enough. But my struggles to open the as previously mentioned tempermental wine bottles worsened after my hand was severely injured. So I asked if I could buy it and return it if I still had little luck. My reluctance was at spending over $30 on something that may not have worked for me. So I took it home and never returned it. This gadget makes opening a bottle about as effortless as it can be.

You insert the needle in the cork and push down on the pressurized cartridge and it truly just POPS out. Then you use the Vacu Vin wine saver to seal off the bottle of leftover wine for later indulgence. Refilling the Opener is so very simple also. I highly recommend.
