I never really thought that I would ever be so enthusiastic about a cutting board of all things, but these cutting boards are really wonderful. The cutting board that I have from Totally Bamboo is the "Kauai" model, and it has served me quite well. The bamboo is incredibly smooth to the touch, and has shown very little wear for the amount that I have used it. I like mine so much that I have purchased the "Lanai" model for my boyfriend's mother for Christmas. When I showed my own mother the one that I had gotten, she decided to get one to send to my relatives for the holidays as well. Some interesting additional information from the company's website:

"Bamboo is 16% harder than maple wood, 1/3 lighter in weight than oak, yet in some instances as strong as steel. Bamboo holds the promise of a sustainable, cost effective, and ecologically responsible alternative to the widespread clear-cutting of our old growth forests."

And they are simply gorgeous to boot. While they might be a bit more expensive than a regular cutting board, it's the type of product that you can tell is going to last in your kitchen forever. (and they come with a pretty raffia grass tie around them too, so they are very good for gift giving)

This food is by far the best I've tried for my ferrets. It's nutritionally complete for the complex needs of ferrets and they love it. I would reccomend this food to any ferret lover.

My husband gave this set to me as a gift and I absolutely love it! Cheese, chocolate and even cooking different meats in a stock. The versatility is endless. The notched lid works great to hold items that may need a while to cook.Also another great feature is the spinning tray with 6 cups to put everything from fruit to veggies to sauces.Great for fondue novice and pro!!

I bought these pens as a gift to go with the Bombay Monkey Business Card Holder & Pen set as a gift for my brilliant, but eccentric sibling. I wanted to give the pen set a sort of "Indianish/British" look and I was so impressed with the pens (as well as the Monkey set). I couldn't believe the price of the pens as they are really high-quality.

(I decided to give my sister ONE of the pens. I'm keeping one and will give the other two as little "brighten your day" presents.)

You couldn't make these beautiful rings yourself at a cheaper price! These little napkin rings are well-constructed and beautiful. In a sunlit dining room, they catch the light and practically glow. The gems are attached to the main ring via "wires" that can be bent so you can shape the napkin ring into patterns. Currently, I'm using these rings as adornments for a pair of tarered candles on my dining room table. They make adorable candle rings too!

I like drinking a smoothie during lunch at the office, but don't want to cart around a icebox full of ingredients, or a giant blender... The Tribest Personal Blender is perfect because I could leave the motor base at work, and can bring the perfect amount of ingredients for my own smoothie in the cup! All I have to do, is put it on the base and let it blend! I get fresh smoothies every day at work! And I don't have to worry about making a mess, having too many or too little ingredients, or lugging around a bulky blender!

I just can't live without this blender! It has to the best purchase I've made all year! First of all, I use the grinder blade in the morning to grind my coffee beans, and to prepare my healthy smoothie with the blending blade. (all of which takes minutes of my time) I take my smoothie on the go in the cup I blend it in, and drink my smoothie on the way to work. I also use it to prepare fresh baby food for my little girl in the 8 oz. cup once daily (I use the lids to store the food in the fridge or take it with us on the go). Clean up is easy and just takes less than a minute. I'm just glad that I can have all the convenience of a blender without the inconvenience of the bulkiness of a large blender. With my hectic schedule, this machine is a godsend!! I would recommend it to anyone!!!

Can't go wrong with these glasses. They won't cloud or spot in your dishwasher. They also don't break easily.

Yes, it is only a pepper mill. But those of you that have searched for a quality, long lasting, durable mill - you need not look further. Nothing beats this mill.

I recently bought this board for my first big Thanksgiving dinner, and I would recommend it to anyone. (Incidentally, Amazon's price is the same price that the maker, J.K. Adams, charges on their website - no mark-up, very fair).
The board is versatile and very well made. On the carving side, the hollow in the center is perfect for holding turkeys, chicken, or roasts of any kind in place. Some carving boards now have wooden spikes to grip the roast; I discussed this option with the very well-informed knife man at my local housewares emporium here in NYC; he agreed that not only do those spikes make a board more task-specific (and thus less versatile), but if you've spent so much time and effort trying to keep a roast juicy (you take it out the oven, place it on the carving board to rest so the juices will settle in the meat), why puncture the bottom of it so the juices run out?!? The hollow is the best option for keeping your roast in place while retaining the yummy juices inside the meat.
The well around the board's perimeter is deep, which is important - my previous cutting/carving board had a shallow well, which meant that the juices from anything I carved ran right out onto my counter or table ... messy, and a big blow to my gravies, which is where I would like to have poured the juices after I finished carving.

Overall, this carving board is nice and big and worth your money. Make sure you oil it frequently (and several times before it's first use) with mineral oil, never stand it in water, and don't stand or hang it to dry (these practices will ruin the wood and cause it to separate). Wash it briefly with soap and water and towel it dry. If you care for it properly, you and your family with have it forever!
