The Best (Manufacturer's Inc.) 14-Inch Balloon Whip with Wood Handle is an excellent addition to any collection of essential kitchen utensils. While I would usually advise someone to "try out" the feel of a whip, whisk, or chef's knife before purchase, I can say that I recommend this balloon whip because I own one. (However, mine is a Best all stainless steel one.) I had a 12-Inch French balloon whip with a wood handle (not made by Best), but the handle became detached from the whip after only a few uses. Best makes excellent quality products, and this wood handle is expoxied, so I would not be concerned about any defects. What is so wonderful about this whip is that you can put it in the dishwasher (top shelf), so there would be no fear of salmonella or other bacterial residue. I use this whip with an unlined copper bowl to whip up egg whites for Belgian waffles and soufflés. Highly recommended!

Boots (the most handsome red tom cat you'll ever see!) loves these treats. We keep them on a shelf in the pantry - only problem is everytime we open the pantry door he thinks he gets a treat.

We've tried other cat treats which he always eats (truth is, Boots eats everything!) but these seem to be his favorite by far.

It's been years since I've done my own mending and sewing, but recently decided to look for my own machine. I was very pleased to find the White 1730, but also happy to discover how good it is. Though perhaps not as quiet as a $500+ machine, it is very smooth and easy to live with. The drop-in bobbin, which is unusual at this price range, is very nice, and I haven't had a single jam. Also a great feature is its ability handle denim--I had about 6 pairs of jeans to shorten on my first day of mending, and I gave it some assistance with the handwheel on two pairs of my husband's jeans and was careful to get the sideseams to feed carefully--but there were no jams and the needle did not break. I was very pleased!! The small size and light weight of the machine make it ideal to tuck up on a bookshelf or closet shelf for storage without messing with the cover on-off process: the cover is a two-to-three step process to get on or off and is perhaps this machine's only design quirk. However, the cover doubles as an extended work surface which can be very handy for quilting and other tasks, so it does have its usefulness. Because the machine is small, there is limited space to work with in the needle area--the machine is fairly easy to thread until one leads the thread down to the needle--the last thread guide (the one right at the needle) is a bit of a challenge to get the thread through--it is easier as I have become used to it. The machine has an automatic needle threader which is a welcome addition for me--I am middle-aged and my eyes are grateful for that assistance! The 1730 has stretch stiches, including overlock stitches, and a free arm.

With the light weight of the machine, the power of the motor and the many conveniences and stitch options, it is a great little machine. Be aware that for a few dollars more ($30-50) you can get the White W750 which is the same motor and everything, but with added stitches and the really great auto needle feature--the needle always stops in the "up" position. If you have a stiff shoulder due to arthritis or other medical condition, that "auto-up" feature saves you a lot of repetitious work with the hand wheel.

All in all, White really has done a great job with this little machine and I am glad to have it. It solves a lot of problems for me and for a very economical price.

In my search for a sturdy and good looking cart with wheels to hold my 13 inch kitchen television, I found that there is a glaring shortage of such carts. When you do find one, it's huge, or has lots of unneeded knick knacks....but this one, a tidy 19 inch square, was perfect for my kitchen. We can move the tv around as needed, and this thing is really solid and sturdy. One other note about buying from Target.com - their price on this item was lower than every other kitchen website I found, AND it was on my front porch IN A COUPLE OF DAYS!! I was pleasantly shocked! This is a quality item at a great price - buy with confidence.

I bought two of these and have them full of home office files. They are just as good as metal cabinets in terms of sturdiness (better than some of the cheapie cabinets), if you use hanging folders which I have. These are a great deal for the money, and being able to roll them near my chair, then return them to their place when I'm finished working is a big added convenience, which I did not expect when I purchased these. Recommend highly.

This is the perfect size. If you live in an apartment and don't have a lot of space, but have a lot of little nick knacks lying around this is the perfect item. It goes great with my decor and it helps get those little nick knacks off the floor!

I grew up with this same pepper grinder on the kitchen table! I never entertained the thought that I could get another. Good Lord, an actual CLASSIC!! I'm the youngest of 8 and will now proceed to checkout with my Christstmas shopping complete...at least for all my siblings. Yeah, 7 pepper grinders.
