Ok, now I made my purchase largely on the opinions of the reviews I read about this product. Yes it is compact, and it looks cool. When you run it on the lowest setting, it hardly makes a sound.

However you will be terribly dissapointed if you expect a powerful fan. You can consider this a desk fan. Even at its highest setting it couldn't make paper fly off my desk. It has about the same power as one of those cheap hand fans that use double A batteries. The person saying that you can feel this fan at 25 ft is a gross exageration. I would say that its a good fan, but maybe i'm just very dissapointed cause I expected more after reading the reviews from everyone else who bought this fan. Bottom line is that this fan is not as powerful as the customer reviews claim.

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but the other reviews on this item made it sound like this fan was some miraculous new advance in electric fan technology. I bought it, and I'm satisfied with my purchase, but so far it hasn't radically changed my life and I'm not in any hurry to tell all my friends to go out and buy 10 of them. It's a fan. You turn it on, it blows air. It doesn't seem to blow air any further than any other fan I've had. It works fine in my average-sized bedroom. It is pretty quiet and is small, two features I like. I think I'd like it a little more if it had the ability to oscillate back and forth.

You cannot find a more powerfull fan in such a small package. It has stepless speed control. At the highest speed it blasts as much air as a massive box fan on high except it does it in a higher velocity compact stream of air. It is amazing how this stream stays together over a long distance without much divergance. This meant I could use it to channel air directly into my bedroom 25 feet and two rooms away from my single window unit airconditioner. It is somewhat noisy at its highest speed because of that massive volume of air being moved. At its lowest speed it gives a nice breeze and is very quiet.

This is a high quality precise well made piece of art. Also the steel used in this tool is of high quality and not brittle like other tools. I gave this tool five stars. I give leatherman and gerber tools three stars each. If you don't believe me put this tool in one hand and any other tool you wish to compare in the other hand and compare. The only thing I like to have in this tool (new version) is a larger scissors. The one I have has small scissors. They are fine but a larger one will make them more practical.

This review is for the new version tool (the one with scissors). I recently bought a Leatherman Wave tool...try to compare the two and give an honest opinion about the quality and the practicality of the two. The finish and the built quality of the Swiss tool is much better than the Leatherman. There is really a big difference here. The Vic. Swiss Army tool has a bigger and smoother pliers. The Leathermans Wave tool has too many small useless low quality bits without locking system. The Victorinox tool has an excellent smooth locking system that keeps the bit you use in place (think safety). The Swiss tool was designed to make it easy to open the bits you want to use. On the other hand, I have to figure out how to open the small bits in the Leathermans. You open one of the bits you don't want just to open the one you want hoping there is enough friction between the two bits (poor design).
The truth I returned the Leatherman Wave...because there is a big big difference between the two tools. The only good thing in the Leatherman is the metal file...The Swiss saw is an efficient fast great wood saw. Gerber new models may compete with Swiss Tools but The steel seems to be brittle and prone to breakage. I bought an extra (new version) Swiss Tool...The balistic pouch is of low quality...The tool is still high quality Swiss made. However, you can buy a high quality leather pouch from eknifeworks...The truth is that the Swiss Tool is the best tool I saw and used so far with a wide margin.

One of the two best multi-tools on the market today. (the other being the Leatherman SuperTool 200)

PROS:
1) Strong pliers with comfortable grip
2) All blades can open while pliers are closed and all blades lock
3) Useful Chisel blade
4) Anti-rust finish
5) Heavy Duty steel

CONS:
1) The file on the "X" model seems to be made of aluminum. After some use the "steel" plating chipped off. The Leatherman file is much tougher and can be used on wood or metal.
2) You might break your nails trying to open the blades.

*UPDATE*
>> I sold sold the "X" model and purchased the "RS" model thereby trading the cheap file for a curved serrated blade. I like this tool much better now.

When I decided to buy a multi-tool last fall I did a thourough research on the Internet, reading up on what others said, then I went to the store to touch and feel the tools to really sense the difference, and I must agree: This is the best. My first choice, if I hadn't done my homework, would have been Leatherman, mainly because of brand recognition. I never regretted that I bought the Swiss Tool instead. Why?
1. The best feature are the spring locks that lock each blade and tool securely. NO fumbling and accidental slips.
2. The knife blades are razor sharp, even after long use, so is the saw.
3.The size is comfortable, and you grip it very easily.

P.S. I suggest you to get hold of the version with scissors. They may look small, but they're not wobbly at all.

I've looked and looked but you can't get a piece like this for this price anywhere. And it looks nice, too. The bench cover is a nice, thick piece so it doesn't feel precarious when you sit on it. But, mine had a small break in the wood. I just kept it, and it is working fine. It has nice simple lines to it, so it doesn't stand out, and its small footprint maximizes efficiency if you lack space. For the price, I could not have done better.

This entryway bench is a great deal. I put it together myself (I'm certainly a novice) and it was quite simple. Another pair of hands is helpful towards the end, but otherwise it's easily a 1-person job. I am surprised by how sturdy it is and how well all of the parts fit together. It looks great too - not at all 'cheap' looking. Truly surpassed my expectations for an item of this price!

This item is perfect for that little extra storage and for anyone that needs a seat when putting on shoes. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The lid stays up when opened until you put it back down. And I received a lot of complements from guest and they thought that I spent much more on this item then I really did. Enjoy.

As long as you don't expect this to totally replace your vacuum cleaner I think you will be pleased with this product. It is so handy for those little jobs you really don't want to drag out the vacuum to take care of. I use it daily for the quick pick-ups that seem to pop up. I even find pet hair when I empty it although I have no illusions it pulls up as much as a vacuum. I am totally pleased with it.

Great product. It picks up crumbs like crazy, I use it in my garage to pick up leaves and grass clippings. Also good for dust on my tile floor. Told my neighbors about it and im sure they will get one. makes my life a little easier.

We have a large area in our home of tile and hardwood. This electric broom works wonderfully to just pull out and quickly have the floors clean. With kids it seems there is always something that needs to be cleaned. The best part with this product is that the kids think it is cool and fun to use the electric broom - now they fight over who gets to clean the floors. I like that problem.

We received these TV trays as a wedding gift and they are one of our favorites. The trays are very handy when you are cooking a quick meal and don't want to set the table or want to watch your favorite TV show while you eat. The sturdy, durable trays also work well as temporary end tables. We currently have our stereo system and VCR on one until we get a real end table. The light wood give a fresh, clean look to any room. I would definitely suggest purchasing these trays - - you will get a lot of use out of them!

These tables are so much nicer than I expected! They are very solid, and well made. They are very nice cheap furniture. We received them as a wedding gift, and they have proved themselves to be very useful. We don't watch TV, but these tables are useful for so many things. I'm currently using one as a night stand, and have used one for crafts, and have no doubt that they will be used for many other things.

Well I have to admit, I didn't expect these to be as nice as they are. I litteraly eat off of them everynight. The finish is a nice light wood which works wonderfully in my home. Also they are sturdy little tables. Even though I try to train my cats not to be up on them, sometimes the jump up anyway if I'm not around and have yet to knock one over. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I got this as a wedding gift, and I have to say it's the best gift ever. I drink a lot of water, and this handy water container is the best I've had. It holds a lot of water, and it's so convenient. I like that I don't have to take it out of the fridge to get a glass of water. My water tastes great. One filter lasted me more than a year.

Living here in Texas we dring allot of iced tea with meals at home and restaurants. I received my Pure Plus dispenser last week and made my first pitcher of iced tea. I was blown away at how much better it was, this thing is amazing. It not only makes water better than bottled but has the capacity to hold much more than the little pitchers you so often see.

My wife and I have immensely enjoyed the wonderful water we get from our Pur filtration pitcher, which uses the same filters as this dispenser.

It's very convenient -- just pour water into the top, and it will, albeit slowly, drip through the filter. Over time, as the filter clogs, it will get slower, so the key is to add more water every time you pour more out -- that way, it's filtering while you are drinking and you aren't waiting.

It's actually much more convenient than the faucet-mount filters, which inevitably leak and get painfully slow and force you to wait...

Pur is better than Brita, by the way, if you get the Ultimate filters, which filter out cryptosporidium and giardia in addition to chemicals and gunk. Brita doesn't do that; it's an important feature if you have iffy water systems (Mexico, Russia) or a weak immune system...

When was the last time you bought something that had batteries included?! This unit comes with two pre-installed AAA batteries (with a plastic piece installed to keep batteries from draining before you receive the unit.)

Other good features of this clock:
- Hi-Glo display is easy to read and very bright. Easier to read than those Indaglo wrist watches because the digits light up, not just the back of the display.
- alarm-on indicator, and snooze active indicator
- time, day, date and timezone display
- rocking the unit back on its stand activates the snooze (no fumbling for a small button at 5am)
-vinyl holster included
- I had no trouble figuring out how to program this unit manually
- lock switch on back of unit to prevent inadvertent button pushes from changing the settings

Things that could be improved:
- the swing-out stand is a bit fragile; looks to me that it could get crushed in your suitcase
- atomic clock synch is not immediate; I had to wait a good 8 hours for this unit to synch up [ I believe that reception is bad from SE Virginia up to Southern Maine due to population density ]

Overall, it is a very functional and practical travel clock.

I've been a flight attendant for 25 years and I have used several different travel alarms. When this clock was given to me as a gift, I didn't think that I would ever like anything better than my Seiko, but I haven't used it for years. This is my favorite alarm clock EVER, not just travel clock. It's the only one I use. It's easy to use, the alarm signal is perfect, I love the easy time zone adjustment and it's very accurate. I set ALL my other clocks by it. I love this clock. mark w.

This clock outperformed my expectations right out of the box. It locked on to the time signal from Colorado in less than 3 minutes, and has continued to check the correct time automatically ever since. It also set the correct year, month, and day from the same time signal -- which is accurate to a millionth of a second. The cool blue nightlighting is activated by a gentle push on the top of the clock -- which then goes off in a few seconds so there is no annoying light during the night. The alarm begins with a gentle beep -- nicely spaced -- which increases in loudness until silenced for another 8 minutes of sleep, or turned off with the touch of a button. Nice unit with carrying case and 2 AAA batteries for power up to a year. Oh yea, it will also automatically reset the correct time when you travel to a new location. Just push one button on the back to select the time locale -- which shows on a map on the front of the unit.

This buffet is perfect for me. I rent a pretty large room in a house where I don't have access to a kitchen, so essentially, it's my pantry. It looks great and holds a ton of stuff, probably because it weighs a ton too. Hey, at least you know it's solid... Just make sure you have a hand if you have to take it upstairs or move it anywhere for that matter, and you'll be fine. Although the instruction manual might look like a textbook, there's nothing to it. it's easy to assemble and very durable. I've had it for a little over a year now, and I'm very happy with it. the 'beautiful butcherblock top' is really contact paper on particle board, so don't have any illusions about choping and dicing a lot of stuff on it. Still, the top looks nice and does a good job simulating wood. This is an honest solid buffet that is well worth it's price and will meet and probably exceed your expectations.

I use this as a large cabinet in my kitchen due to lack of storage space. It looks gorgeous in my kitchen and I'm very picky! :-) It doesn't look like cheap assemble-it-yourself furniture and blends in very well with my antique 30's decor. The faux woodgrain is done very well and the amount of storage space is awesome. It even holds my microwave, bread box, fruit bowl on top with room to spare. It's sturdy, functional and pretty and a steal for $99!

I recently purchased this item. I have to say I was very pleased. We've been looking for something small enough for a short wall in our dining room, yet big enough to store things like a crock pot, larger stock pot and extra baking pans. The drawers are nice to have as well. I use them for pens, paper and warranty info. This really does the job perfectly. My husband put it together and said it was easy (I didn't hear any swearing). I waited until it went on sale and paid $119.00. With price, shipping ($42.00 just a month ago) and tax ($7.00), total was $168.00. This price was reasonable to me. The manual cleaning is clever and works until all the little plastic clamps that hold the top on when you roll the box break off. I also have a pretty small cat (9 months) and she occasionally misses the front edge of the litter box, so I'm getting rid of this box for a bigger one. It really is too small inside because of the cleaning contraption.

It may sound funny to say so, but I really love this litter box.....Very easy to clean, gives the cat privacy (I live in an apt. and do not have a "low traffic area" to put it)....It keeps the mess out of sight and the odors to a minimum....Much cheaper than the auto-clean boxes, very clever design...I highly recommend it.

This is the best cat box we have found out there. We have four cats and these really work. We initially bought one of the automatic litter boxes, but found these are better (with the exception of when we go on trips). These are so much easier to clean. I would, however, suggest that you purchase the larger size. We bought two of the smaller boxes thinking that we had small-medium cats, but now two of them have out grown it and regularly miss the front edge of the box. Hence, I am now purchasing two of the larger boxes so they will fit comfortably. Even though we have had problems with two of our cats, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a cat and doesn't like to clean the box! This is a great design and makes cleaning the box regularly much less of a hassle.

I bought three of these; one to go in my living room for my kids to use for toy storage, and two more to use as a linen closet since the apartment I just moved to has NO linen closet at all. It's worked well. I agree with other reviewers that the plastic handles weren't what I expected. They really don't stay on well, but otherwise the shelves are fairly solid, and I even had my 4-year old "helping" me put them together!

I not only purchased this 2-door organizer but a total of 5 coordinating shelving pieces for my sewing room. I found it was easy to assemble and has an attractive appearance once completed. I like how the cabinets and shelving can be stacked and I am considering purchasing additional pieces. The greatest disappointment was the plastic handles. Not only was I unhappy that the handles were plastic but I had to glue the screws into the handles as it would not hold any other way. I do not believe they will hold up with any type of normal use and I will need to purchase new handles.

I love the organize-it stuff... it's like a cheaper version of the cubits & closits collections. I could find a couple things to criticize about this product, but when the price is this good, I can't give it less than 5 stars. It looks great (just like the picture), serves its purpose (in this case organizing my daughter's books), and it was surprisingly easy to assemble. (If you have assembled a lot of furniture, you may feel lucky just to have readable instructions in ENGLISH!!) So what should you look out for? The screws weren't long enough for the handles - but you can glue these with a heavy duty adhesive. Someone mentioned the hinge being irreparable, mine hasn't broken but I can think of several ways it could be fixed. Using a little ingenuity can save you a lot of money. :) Also, someone said something about shipping being high, I had no problem finding this item in the Target stores near me.
