This is great pen and card holder set for the home or office. Buy this for yourself or as a gift for someone special. The pieces are solid and sturdy and are practical for use as its description states: pen and card holder.

I just bought this for my sister's birthday as she is an executive - yet she has this really zany sense of humor. I just received the items and I was SO impressed! They are really QUALITY pieces; the cast iron is VERY nice, as is the paint. So often, you get things like this and they just look like junk. This is not the case with these. They look like they easily cost twice the amount.

Also, I got a set of the "jeweled" pens that Bombay sells on Amazon to go with it and give it an "Indianish" look. The entire set makes a SUPERB gift.

The 3-tier revolving CD holder is well-made, attractive and functional. I labeled each cubicle, sorted and stacked all my software CDs into the holder and still have lots of room to spare. It would work equally for music CDs--I just didn't need it for that. It sits unobtrusively on my desk handily holding all the software CDs I've collected over the past few years.

i looked everywhere for a cool-looking cd tower to finally organize our trillions of cds...and it was practically impossible to find anything out there that wasn't hideous black plastic garbage! finally i stumbled across this really modern storage unit that actually came in a natural wood color! theres NO assembly required and it holds a pretty decent amount of cds...they were really affordable, so i bought a bunch, and have a row of them displayed in my living room...its probably one of my favorite things about that room now.

The light from the bulb is excellent, the warm light feels like day light, while the Verilux daylight really feels too strong on the blue spectrum to me, at least I don't see the same color under the sum light.

The Panasonic bulb is great except it takes a while to reach full brightness(like 20 sec. or so). and it starts very dim. The 15w looks like a 20w. incandlescent for the first 5 sec. if you have not turned on the light for a while(10 minutes). which might annoy some people. Yet I don't have problem with other bulb flourscent light with such a long delay such as Verilux.

I bought 5 of these at Home Depot to replace the 60 watt globe bulbs in my bathroom. I was really torn between these and another brand that was about half the price and had a rebate on top of that. However the Panasonic was definately the most attractive of the two with the smallest lowest profile base I have seen on any CF bulb. Also the Panasonic is truly the most globe shaped and once installed it's difficult to tell it's not an incandescent. The bulb turns on instantly with no flicker.

One thing that is kind of nice is that when you turn it on it starts at about 60% brightness then gradually brightens to full strength in about 20 seconds. It appears to put out a bit more light than the 60 watt incandescents I was replacing. The light is warm like an incandescent. The fact that it uses 75% less energy than a 60 watt incandescent is a real plus in a household where the kids like to leave every light in the house on.

What with Southern California Edison and Gray Davis charging 300% more for the same electricity from two years ago, every little bit helps.

I bought two of these to house my cats for the long drives across South Dakota. The cats really seem to enjoy the soft padding on the floor, and the multiple roll-up window pieces. They are roomier than the traditional plastic pet carriers. One draw back is that these are not very convenient as pet carriers for trips to the vet, etc. They are not as easy to cart around as the hard plastic pet taxis. But, used as homes or travel homes, they are roomy and attractive. A plus--they fold up easily to store.

This kennel is great! it folds up like a brief case then effortlessly pops up into the doggie home. I bring it everywhere so my puppy has a safe place to be no matter where we are. my 30lb dog is a perfect fit, he loves this little space and snuggles into the soft cushion floor whenever he is tired wherever we are.

I purchased this vacuum for a small cabinet shop and am pleased to report that is quite superior to the Crafts**n (no names please!) unit I had been using. It has similar suction power, albeit through a smaller hose, but is vastly quieter than the "red screamer". The filter stays clean longer with fine dust due to the use of a 15 gallon bag prefilter, and the two stage filtration exhausts cleaner air than any single stage unit I have tried. The wheels allow for easier movement than the typical four swivel casters on most "shop vacs". My only complaint would be in the meager amperage limit of the built in 120 volt outlet which activates the device when used with devices like random orbit sanders. I would like to be able to use it with larger tools, such as a router, as well.

After several models of Shop-Vac vacuums (they're all junk as far as I'm concerned) i decided to dig deeper in my pockets and get a decent vacuum. That led me to the Porter Cable.

Decent is an insulting understatement. This thing has power!!! With a clean filter this thing loves to eat nails, screws, rocks you name it.

This vacuum accidentally fell 9 feet to the floor below where I was using it. Nothing broken or bent. It didn't even come apart. Now that's durability.

With respect to the noise level during operation, it's the quietest vacuum I own (i have 2 shopvacs and a Sears Kenmore canister). It's even quieter than the Sears vacuum with bogus Whisper feature.

The only problem I have with this model is its weight. It's tough to carry up and down stairs even with the carry handle on the top.

Lastly, if you get the filter bags for this from Amazon, make sure you're getting the 15 gallon bags. the 10's are the ones they usually show you in the "related accessories" area. I ordered a bunch of them (the 10's) thinking they were 15's. The 10 gallon bags do not work well in the 15 gallon vacuum (they rip apart from the weight of what they're holding).

In a nutshell, you want quality? Buy this or the 10 gallon model. You won't be sorry.

This beautiful piece is in the center of my island in my kitchen. It catches the eye of my guests and is a fun conversation piece. It uncorks and recorks wine by simply raising and lowering the lever in a smooth deft motion. .... Also note the color/metal plating finish of the actual piece-- antique bronze is another option to consider. The shiny nickel ... really contrasts to the intended antiquity of the tool. Last, the mounted corkmaster stands about 25 inches high-- quite a few inches taller than the average wine bottle. Obviously this is to accomodate all bottle sizes but if you are uncorking the usual 750 ml, you will use the clamp ... to hold the bottle. It made me nervous at first but works really well! I do recommend this item.

There is absolutely nothing in this league of wine openers. You must have the right space for this substantial piece of equipment. If so, there is no better cork remover out there that is this impressive. A delight to use, you will look forward to opening every bottle!

Like the previous reviewer, I, too, was skeptical when I heard about this device. However, our new neighbors' LARGE, lonely dog (with an equally large bark) was about to drive me around the bend so I bit the bullet and ordered the Bark Free. After testing the waters with two barks, the dog stopped the continual barking! So far, only a few random woofs here and there (we've only been using it for 3 days), but I have high hopes that it will continue working.

I have only given it 4 stars because we found that with the rain cover on, the range appears to be affected somewhat. Other than that, it appears to be doing the trick.

I was sceptical of this device before I bought it, but after talking to the guy at my local Sharper Image store and being reassured I could return it within 60 days for a full refund I went ahead and got one.

Luckily my neighbor's dogs are kept in a fairly small area right on the other side of my fence so I was able to mount it in a tree overlooking the area with full coverage. Also his dogs are young with sensative hearing so that helps too.

The effect was immediate. The first night I only heard one of the dogs bark once, and that was it! I havn't heard a single bark since. It's only been a day now that I have had it, so things may change. If they do I'll report back here...

It's been well over a week and still no barking! This thing really works!

I have a couple shop vacs in the shop and garage so I'm familiar with their quality. I got this one to walk around the house and clean out the corners; along the side of the fridge; around the fireplace etc. Works great. Picks up little wood chunks around the fireplace just like a shop-vac should - not like an upright which requires major surgery when it breaths in such things. Not as noisy as an upright hoover. The fifty foot cord is more than enough and you really can walk around the house comfortably with the thing on your back. It uses throw-away bags and so far, I haven't been able to find a source (including the shop-vac web site). Assume those will be available soon.

i have travelled far and wide and one thing i do not want by my side is a vac i wish to put one on my back but here in stupid england you have to push and shove, if i had one on my back id walk through town and never look back, they would be stopping me in the street, were did you get that, not a chance not one to be had .had to bye a boreing d-so-. next time i need one i will fly to USA and be sure to make an impact they wont believe there eyes a vac that go,s on the back i wish.

This hose is a duplicate of the 2.5 hose that comes with all the Shop-Vac fullsize vacuums. My original has been durable over several years of use. Shop-Vac has a patented hose locking system that makes it head & shoulders better than some other brands where the hose is always pulling away from the vacuum. It also keeps the hose from kinking up by being free moving. I've used Shop-Vac part # 906-86-00 2.5" Hose Coupling (For Coupling 2.5" hoses) to double the length of hose for my Shop-Vac 931-16-11. You should have no trouble with the extra hose length usage with a 4 hp vac or higher.
This is a medium weight vac hose for a decent price. There are a few heavier duty hose products (Mr Hose) out there, but for general use the Shop-Vac product works great!

Hose is fine. I bought it to connect to my dust collection system above my work bench. The flexibility for my purpose is ideal. The hose that I purhased from Home Depot was too stiff. One unexpected bonus. The hose connectors are easily removed from the hose itself. This means that it is easy to shorten the hose to the perfect length.

When I decided to purchase this chest, I had real reservations based on the negative review of similar ones. Well, I got mine in the mail today and I LOVE IT! It's exactly what I expected. No, it's not solid oak with real brass and velvet...those chests cost hundreds of dollars, remember? But it's heavy, sturdy, NOT broken, bent, cracked, whatever else they said about them. It's real wood, and just perfect for my tools. I'm ordering the larger model next. If you don't want to pay a lot and you want a great storage chest, perfect for hand tools, this is your best buy!

You know- I agonized over ordering this Chest- for a while- then did it-
It arrived VERY quickly- in VERY good shape- and the FIT and FINISH was Excellent! I guess I am not so much concerned with cost versus product- as I am with- Could I just buy the wood and hardware- build something similiar- doing it myself (and I could, for sure-)and not spend DOUBLE in the process- excluding my time and talent!!??? It could't be done!!
