All I want for Xmas is my Toastmaster Chopster.I figured at the price of this "Chopster" thing, if it breaks anytime soon, I can just buy a few more. When my dad opened it up for Christmas, he was surprised at how sturdy the thing was. Simple too, you put on the chopping cup, then fill it with what you want chopped up. The last step is to put on the lid, and push the big button. It's a plug-in device not a battery powered one, so it has good power. My dad likes, and uses it all the time. I just got him a Subway sub the other day, and my dad was able to chop his up the way he wanted, and eat it with a spoon.
Just by looking at the picture, I think you can see that it's easy to clean. The chopping cup comes off easily, and it can be rinsed off in the sink, or even put in the dishwasher if you so desire. I'd consider taking it out before the drying cycle, even though it says its dishwasher safe, heating elements may warp it. I've used the Chopster myself a few times, and it works great. If you put in mixed items, like my dads sub sandwich, the lighter stuff like the bread, sometimes just stays on top. If you break it down a little, it chops up fine. While I think this is a pretty good machine, I wouldn't recommend it for heavy use like chopping frozen foods, or cracking ice. Like I mentioned earlier, these plastic choppers are good until they break. The Chopster is for convenience, its not meant to replace a blender or food processor.

Great results!
These cookies are addictive!I paid ten dollars more for this model than the other Villaware for two reasons. First, it's the new model, so I'm sure the older model will be going away, and second, this model has a 3 year warranty instead of the 1 year warranty on the older model. Well worth the ten dollar difference.

this blender is wonderfulThis blender is a sure winner! It's very powerful, very well built and super easy to clean. Yes, it's [a little] than your typical consumer model, but it'll last a lot longer and it's so much more fun to use.
Decisions, Decisions, DecisionsThe experience I had with a cheaper blender going up in smoke, and the reviews on the Kitchen Aid having the same problems, I decided, as many noted, that the Waring Blenders are what the pros use, and it would be a good idea to buy one also. I was looking at the Pro Bar Blender with the stainless cup. I like the idea that you don't have to worry about breakage. If you have a lot of kids, or a clumsy spouse :-) that might be the way to go. I like this model because it has the glass, and I want to see to make sure it is clean when I am done using it.
The wattage is a question. All I can say is that this one is 360 watts, whereas the Bar Pro is 390. It is kind of funny but the Kitchen Aid mixer is 500 watts, and if you read the reviews, the motors are going up in smoke. So I wouldn't take a few extra watts too seriously.
One of the reasons why I bought this model, is because it has the word "Health" on the front. The one I received, which is the same unit, and model number, says Pro instead. I understand pictures can't always be up to date.
Another factor to consider is the weight. This model is 12 pounds shipping weight, and the other Waring Blenders are 8 or 9. Since these are made from Cast Metal Bases, as well as a cast metal cup holder base, the substantial weight is a sign of strength, and durabiity. This is the heaviest unit, and has the highest list price. (Maybe that is because of the added timer, and larger base)
The important thing is this model comes with the 5 year motor guarantee. That is not stated on many of the models. At the Waring site, they have a different designation-area for their "commercial grade" equipment. Their consumer line is lower in cost, and not guaranteed as long.
I bought this blender, and a smoothie book. What a great way to create a healthy family. Kids don't want to eat fruit? When you make a pure frozen fruit shake, out of just fruit, and a little cinnamon, they gobble them up, and you don't have to worry about fruit spoilage. When the whole family falls in love with them, a commercial grade unit like this Waring 7010WHW will give you the performance you need.

- Powerful 350-watt commercial motor for heavy-duty blending
- Simple 2-speed operation; crushes ice on high or low
- Trademark cloverleaf, 40-ounce, glass carafe with easy-to-read graduations
- Classic styling with rugged base; self-cleaning blade assembly
- Measures 8 by 16-1/2 by 13-1/4 inches
List price: $165.00 (that's 39% off!)

Top of The LineI hate sounding like a commercial, but I honestly don't know how I got along without it. It absolutely liquidfies everything!
It's an AMAZING Blender and I strongly urge anyone who is looking for a Blender to purchase this one.

The Best Electric Wok Ever Made!I prefer an electric wok because I prefer to cook on a surface larger than my stove. I use this wok to cook at the table - the wok stir-fries vegetables hot and fresh and crisp-tender. Anyone who has been to a restaurant like Benihana appreciates an at-table cooking experience! The wok has a temperature range from 150 to 400 degrees and it adjusts temperature quickly, heating and cooling very fast. It cooks beef, fish, and chicken to tender perfection. The handles of the wok are cool-touch/no potholders needed!
The non-stick surface is a definite bonus. You can stir-fry vegetables with no fat, or a light coating of a butter flavor spray, or a misting of olive oil. It also enables you to add a minimum amount of more expensive oils like sesame. You get that tremendous flavor without excessive oiliness!
Think you will only use this wok for Asian cuisine? Think again! I have used this wok to make scrambled eggs for a crowd (it heats them quickly and they are so moist and tender), beef stroganoff, and a multitude of vegetarian dishes. The only thing I don't recommend it for is deep-fat frying. The wok is made of a thin layer of metal that is great for stir fry cooking but I find a chicken fryer with a heavier layer of steel is more suitable for deep-fat frying.
The steamer rack is great for making chinese dumplings. I've also used it to moisten day-old rolls!
I've taken this wok to church suppers and work potluck lunches. You can plug it in like a crock pot on the lowest setting (Warm/Simmer) and it will keep your food at an even temperature. I've made Barbecue Butterflied Mini Smoked Sausages in it and everyone raves about how good they taste and that they're nice and warm. The lid makes an attractive presentation, and has a cool-touch handle. The best feature about this wok is that it is fully immersible. Just remove the heating plug (the whole unit unplugs with one pull) and immerse and wash. The lid and the wok can both go into the dishwasher, but since it's nonstick it cleans up easily with a sponge and soapy water. It's a bit big to fully immerse in a small kitchen sink, but you can wipe it down quickly.
I love this wok. Do yourself a favor and buy it-it's well worth the price!
