I have had 3 juicers in my life, electric, hand press, etc. Each requires tough arm muscles with strong wrist that can press and squeeze hard enough to get the juice out. After a while, since I am left-handed, I noticed my left arm got bigger than the other. But I don't want to give up juicing since it taste so good and healthy. So, I went shopping several weeks ago for a juicer that can do the work for me and make my life easier so I thought of commercial juicers instead, most of them range from 280 to 650, not to mention some that goes for thousands of dollars. And finally, I found the "Hamilton Beach Comm'l Juicer", had it for few days now and it produces one of the best and smoothest orange juice I ever had. This unit is quite big and heavy for my kitchen countertop but it looks very nice and it is so worth it. If you are willing to convert to a fastforward juicing at home for your family and guests, this item is perfect and has the lowest price of its quality by far. For your information, I slip my finger a few times while the thing is running so fast "ouch, ouch, ouch", but my fingers never bled, practice will make perfect juicing. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with my new "Hamilton Beach Comm'l Juicer". Juicing all the way, everyday for the family!

I've had this blender for a year now, and it is definitely worth the money. The stainless jar does not hold food odors from, say, a super-garlicky chipotle adobado sauce to pina coladas, it's easy to clean, and will not shatter from physical or thermal shock. But the real beauty is the 1/2 hp motor. Even under the heaviest demand, like hummous, a pitcher of frozen daquiris or a 1/2 gallon batch of chile d'arbol hot sauce, this thing just keeps on grinding without so much as a complaint. Haven't even been able to get it hot, unlike several so-called "commercial strength" blenders I've ended up burning out. Pricey, yes, but if you do a lot of high volume, heavy-duty blending, this is the one you want.

It's never leaked. I've never had to replace the blades. Reasonably easy to disassemble/assemble for deep cleaning, though this is usually unecessary if you're diligent about rinsing it right after use. And the coupling with the motor has never slipped, like it used to do on my old Waring. Sure, this one doesn't have the show-car looks of the chrome and glass Waring; it's built for power and utility, not show. Kind of like comparing a 1957 Cadillac to a Caterpillar backhoe.

The only thing they could have done better was the standard vinyl center-removable lid. With the abuse I put my kitchen tools through, it cracked after a few months. A more durable metal lid would have been nice, but luckily mine came with an extra (smaller, smoked vinyl) blender jar and lid, so no worries.

Before ordering a replacement HEPA filter for your Honeywell (or other brand) Air Cleaner, be sure to check the model number on the unit. This filter is for four Enviracare Models (51500, 61500, 11520, and 17200). I replace my HEPA filter every year because I am very allergic to cigarette smoke, pollens, dust, molds, and other allergens and irritants. Honeywell suggests that you replace your HEPA filter every 1-3 years. Also, this HEPA filter has pre-filters which wrap around it, so you may want to order a box of those, too. Honeywell recommends that the pre-filters be changed every 3 months, but I've found if I vacuum them at least once a month, I can keep them longer. I really like my HEPA filters because they remove so much dust and pet hair from the air.

Excellent addition to your kitchen. I have used it so much since I got it. The name may be little but you can fit about 3-4 large baking potatoes in it with ease and it is very powerful. The motor is so quiet you hardly know it's on. Very affordable and I think a great buy.

This unit ROCKS!! I am so impressed I just love mine. I can't believe how powerful it is but also how quiet it is. I will never have to replace this puppy, it will last my lifetime. Don't waste your time with other brands pay a little more and you won't be disipointed.

I had been using one of the standard blades on my food processor to grate parmesan cheese and was happy with the results. Had I known what a difference this made, I would have ordered it earlier! The grated cheese has a very light texture and goes a lot further than using my other blade. I very highly recommend this blade if you like fresh grated parmesan cheese.

After tearing through 2 stick blenders in 6 years, I tried this one -- and let me tell you -- the KitchenAid takes the prize. The motor (the highest powered I found on the market) is tough enough for batters and heavy mixing, and still with the multiple speeds and whisk attachment, is light-handed enough for making fast work of whipping cream, and egg whites.

The chopper is worth the upgrade from the stick alone as it will do everything the old counter-top hogging food processors ever dreamed of doing, but with half the clean up time. It also makes it easy for chopping just enough for one or two servings without breaking out the heavy hardware.

Unless you use a mixer for tons of cookie dough or to knead bread (in which case you want the biggest and toughest counter-top kitchenAid stand mixer you can afford...) then this is the best I've seen. Stick this blender down into a bubbling hot soup pot full of veggies, beans and meat -- it will puree the whole pot into a smoothe and beautiful soup in a matter of 2-3 minutes.

A great product (and a great gift.)

This blender sets itself apart from other blenders in a couple of important ways. Its glass is shorter and wider than other blenders, and this in combination with the shape of the blades makes it very difficult for stuff to hand about and not get blended. Also, it is a powerhouse. It has a fat motor and just will not let you down. But, and this is possibly my favorite, the cord wraps up neatly in the base for clutter free storage.

What a cool kitchen gizmo! It seems sturdier than similar products i've priced, and it's also got interchangeable waffle/pizzelle/sandwich plates, a feature i haven't seen in any other model. (I wasn't sure i really *needed* this feature, but i love it. Makes great grilled cheese sandwiches! And if you've never tried pizzelles, you're in for a treat!) The plates themselves are very easy to switch -- and because they're removable, they're a snap to clean. Although the unit does take a couple of minutes to warm up, once it's up to temp it stays pretty consistent (makes it easier to time your waffles so they're predictably as browned you like them). One bit of advice: If you're using a low-fat batter, brush or spray a little vegetable oil on the plates (the plates have a nonstick finish, but low-fat batters still seem to stick a bit). Everything considered, this gadget is a great buy... i'm very pleased with both its quality and performance.

I looked for a long time before I decided on this one, and I am very happy with my choice. Things I like are as follows:

1)Makes great waffles...fast (I've used it on 6 separate occassions so far, average time per waffle has been less than 3 minutes)Waffles have come out of non-stick surface perfectly every time

2)Easy clean up (non-stick is just that in this case, and stainless drip tray also cleans up very easily)

3)Compact... for a rotary waffle maker, handle folds down to further compress its footprint on your countertop

4)Solid construction, this thing is solidly built without being unweildy, seems like it will last a long time
