I believe my rating is too low based on the fact that I bought the wrong product for my needs. I was hoping to get a griddle and warming pan, and I got that.

I also got stainless steel which will take months to season before our food doesn't stick. That's how I discovered that a non-stick surface, which this product doesn't have, is the most important feature to me since I need an all-around griddle. I would recommend this product be used less as a griddle (for sticky foods) and more for brunch and as a warming pan/buffet server.

This is a beautiful, well-made product. I was amazed how quickly the griddle heated to the desired temperature and how evenly it cooked the pancakes I prepared. If you know what you are buying and are buying what you need, you should be very satisfied with this product.

The precise temperature control offered by this product makes it a delight to use. Don't be alarmed by the suggested stickiness in the previous post. In fact, stainless does not need to be seasoned to perform like non-stick cookware. Proper technique, which consists of
1) heating the surface to the desired temperature (1 min),
2) adding oil,
3) waiting briefly for the oil to come to temperature (20 sec),
and, finally,
4) adding ingredients,
will ensure outstanding results. For professional-quality food preparation, stainless steel cannot be surpassed, and this dishwasher-safe product makes the experience painless even for a novice.

I bought this shaver for 50% off at Wal Mart. It works great! It could have a bigger container to catch the shaved ice but for the price it is good. The ice is fine like snowcones you buy. If it had a bigger container I'd give it 5 stars.

On an especially hot July day, I first used this ice shaver. The ease with using electricy and power of the blades made it fun to use. It's safe enough for my granddaughter's enjoyment. The shavings were like snow and were caught in the attached container. We experimented with several flavors of syrup. What a refreshing experience!

We received this toaster as a gift about a year and a half ago. So far, so good! We really like the cord storage and the crumb tray. Just recently we have had several problems with the toaster not popping up all the way. Other than that, it's been great.

I have this same toaster, except in the 4-slice model. I am very happy with it. It is very easy to keep clean - and the crumb tray is SO easy to clean. No more opening little metal doors on the bottom of your toaster and dumping it upside down over the sink to get the crumbs out. The crumb tray on this Sunbeam model just slides out and because it's non-stick, you just wipe it with a damp paper towel and it's good-as-new!

I like all the temperature options. Choices for frozen bread, pastry, degree of doneness, etc. The slots are wide enough for thick homemade bread or bagels and the extra lift feature is really nice.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that I find that it's much slower to toast than my old crummy chrome toaster. I don't really see that as a problem - I just allow more time.

This would be a great bridal shower gift!

Recently acquired this fryer after getting burned by a Euro Pro model (the Euro Pro stoped working mid way through it's third batch of food). So far, I've been through three batches of chicken wings with the T Fal fryer with good results. Heating is reasonably fast, the capacity is generous. Very nice to have a sealed lid as well... most of the fryer smell stays put (where it should!) in the fryer.

Things I'd like to improve upon:
Removable bowl for the fryer.

Another indicator to let you know the unit is on. Currently, the only time the light is on is when the unit warms up. After it gets to the set temp, the light goes out.

More robust temperature setting: the slider is fairly loose... could easily get bumped and adjust temp settings without you realizing it.

We'll see how it does over time but am pleased so far.

I got this deep fryer 2 weeks ago and since then I've made 4 batches of "freedom" fries and one batch of fried chicken - which was actually multiple baskets of 4 breasts and 14 legs. I think its a nice unit and it cooked everything fine - but - the inside of the fryer does NOT come out to clean. The top comes off and, obviously, the basket comes out. But those aren't the important parts... after making the chicken, the oil was very dirty... so I had to carry the whole unit out and dump the oil... then, because the unit can't be submerged in water, I had to put the fryer in an empty sink and wash out the inside of the fryer with a sponge... a few times. Not a show stopper... but, I think it might be worth getting the T-Fal fryer with the removable drum...

The bag is good for some uses but I am trying to put jerky in the bag and it punctures holes in the bags..I need a heavier gage bag that will not puncture when I use them. I need to find a heavier gage bag can you answer this question for me.

When you have problems with the bags puncturing or with liquids leaking, try using paper towels or wax paper to wrap the food items in. Wax paper seems to work best for the leaky liquid and paper towels seem to work best for food items that puncture the bags.

This is the beat machine i have ever had. Makes great bread and butter.

My sister-in-law bought this bread machine first and let me taste the butter and bread that it made. I fell in love with it so I had to have it. I make the butter first and when I take the butter out, there is always a little left. I add the ingredients for the rolls to it. My rolls are the best. I take them to work when we have pot luck and everyone says my rolls are better then the ones that they make in their bread machines. The only problem I have with this machine is what most everyone has. The bread it makes is to big if you want to use it for regular sandwiches. I still love it.

Except for NOT having an adjustable temperature control, a feature I was counting on, this waffle iron works well. The only other waffle iron I have bought in the past, that I liked, had this feature and I could make crisp waffles on a regular basis. Using the Villaware, and my standard recipe, my first waffle comes out limp. I will have to learn how to add more time for warmup and for cooking. The handy warning beep comes too early. The technical specifications listing clearly states 'adjustable temperature control' and should be corrected, so others are not misled.

Overall, this product is a great and consistent waffle maker. Recipes are simple, clear and easy to follow. The end result is my kids making waffles for breakfast every Saturday and Sunday morning.

Some features that allow this to be a great product. 1) An audible alarm that lets everyone know the waffle is done, without having to open/close the lid to check. 2) The non-stick surface is exactly that, a non-stick surface!! 3) Easy clean up, nothing sticks, nothing to scrub. 4) Easy to follow recipes, that don't call for weird or un-common items. 5) Great, consistent waffles that the cook is proud to serve to a hungry family!

A great product, would recommend this to all.

I bought one of these in 1977. And it's still in excellent condition after about a million (more or less) glasses of juice. What more can you ask?

Well, perhaps easier cleaning. Pulp gets wedged in the basket and you need a stiff brush to get it loose. Some dishwashers will do the trick, but you may end up scrubbing. Thus four instead of five stars.

If you need to make more than two glasses of juice, you'll probably have to stop and empty the basket of pulp before continuing. The Champion juicer spits out the pulp while juicing and might be a better choice for those who have large families.

Nevertheless, this Waring juicer (they bought out the old Acme brand) gets every drop of juice from your veggies and fruit. Don't even consider a cheaper juicer, as you'll pay the price in needing more produce to come up with a good glass of juice. Bon Apetit!

This is much better than those little wimpy juicers that are basically disposable.This one is made for Waring by the Acme company who has been building quality commercial juice extractors for years!This unit doesnt have automatic pulp ejection but it has a powerful motor thats not likely to burn out.The pulp can also usually be easily peeled away from the screen so you may begin another round of juicing.Just make sure you clean the unit immediately after use,otherwise the pulp gets hard and sticks to the surfaces and is difficult to remove.I have an Acme unit thats similar to this one and I use it all the time!As a result I`m healthier,more energetic,more regular and even have better skin! And remember,store bought juice is pasteurized as required by law and has no food value or enzymes.So make your own juice and get all the benefits that nature can provide! I previously bought the Aroma ARC703G, which deserves all the bad reviews it's gotten from other ... customers. This one, however, is well worth the extra money. It makes perfectly cooked rice, from your basic long grain to your basmati and wild rice; even arborio, used in risottos, come out great. The key to buying a rice cooker is its pot -- is it nonstick or not? This one is nonstick, making cleanup easy and hassle free -- unlike the ARC703G's aluminum pot, which requires so much elbow grease to clean you'd be better off making rice the old-fashioned way. Like many other rice enthusiasts, I say Zojirushi is the best brand for rice cookers, but this Aroma model is great for those who make rice only every so often or have suddenly been intrigued by rice thanks to "Survivor II."

I really think that this product is a good buy. This is my opinion because not many people want to spend alot of money on an item like this. Its something simple, compact, and it has a good look. I would reccomend this item to anyone who was looking for a good buy and a good price.
