I'm so glad I bought this mixer. It has everything I wanted in a hand mixer and more. The batter slides right off the beaters-even mashed potatoes. It starts slow so there's little to no splattering. It has lots of power for a hand mixer. One of the nicest features is the digital timer. I now know if I've beat the batter 1 minute on low and then 2 minutes on high-the mixer is counting the seconds. The sifter is nice but I don't use that a lot since I forget to sift flour half the time. I do use the whisk a lot and it is very nice also. The only improvement I would make is the speed settings. You have to move up by small increments using and arrow button until you reach the speed you want. I don't really need twenty speeds and it would be faster to just pick a speed. But this is a pretty small thing so it still gets five stars from me.

This is a replacement for a 10 year old Sunbeam handheld. So far I have used the whisk and the beaters, but not the sifter. The whisk seemed like it would be flimsy at first, but it works very well. What I really like are the beaters. As the description states, without the center post they really are easier to clean. Children may not care for these beaters because the batter does not cling to them very well, leaving very little to lick off. The other features I like are found on other newer mixers - the slow start up to prevent spatter and the timer.
Addendum: I used the sifter for the first time. It works very well, is not at all messy and is fast! One thing I am a little concerned about is that the mixer motor started "groaning" when I was using it in very thick cookie dough. The dough was very difficult to mix with a spoon by hand, so it was probably more of a job for a stand mixer than a hand mixer in the first place. My rating of 5 stars stands!

We have two of these Maxim trays, one with a 17" warming surface and with with a 24" warming surface. I don't have to run around like a madwoman trying to finish everything I'm serving at the same time anymore. I can keep my dishes warm while finishing up other items on my menu. Cooking is much more relaxed now!

The warming plate looks very nice on top of my range while not in use so I don't have to take up much-needed storage in my cabinets. It's a handsome piece and a great investment!

. . . and attractive! This little roaster has it all. Big enough to handle a 12-pound whole boneless turkey, this is a fabulous item for singles or a couple.

I've had an 18-quart Nesco roaster for the past 10 years, and I still say it makes the best roast turkey of any other cooking method. This smaller 6-quart unit follows the same design principles as its larger counterpart: the heat source surrounds the cooking well, so it acts as a "slow cooker" as well as a roaster. You can cook everything from savory stews to roast vegetables to muffins.

The roaster comes with a small recipe book, but you'll find yourself looking for more recipes. Be sure to check out the many slow cooker recipe sources, and don't be afraid to use your own imagination. After all, clean up is a snap.

I have two Nesco Roasters, a 6 QT and an 18 QT. I don't know how I survived without them. Better than a crock pot. Unlike most crock pots Nesco's have metal inserts not glass. They clean in a breeze and the temp setting allows for not only slow cooking but roasting, steaming and baking. I have yet to make a bad meal and the slow cook feature is great for working people. Put it on in the morning and dinner is ready when you come home. Also, you can get great recepies off the Nesco web site. Buy one, you won't be sorry.

Does this Nesco slow cooker come with a chrome steel rack which includes handles for safe, easy insertion and removal of hot foods?

I purchased a Nesco 6 QT Roaster 2 years go. I use this pot every week. (Sometimes 2-3 times a week!) My children refer to it as "the magic pot" because everything I cook in this pot comes out great! I got rid of my old crockpot and use only this. I cook whole chickens, roasts, spaghetti pie, chili, sloppy jo's, soups, stews...the list is endless. You can use this pot like you would your regular crockpot, but you can also do SO MUCH MORE! What makes this pot so wonderful is the variety of heating levels. You can cook things very slow on the low setting of 150F or crank it up to over 450F. Clean up is simple in this pot too. I recently made a spaghetti pie that had lots of cheese in it. Some of the cheese burn on the edges because I was trying to rush it so my husband could take some to work. Because the cooking well is nonstick, you don't have to scrub or let it soak for hours to get it clean. I loved my Nesco Roaster so much that I purchased one for my Mother-In-Law. She is an excellent cook and will put any appliance through it's paces. She absolutely loves her Nesco Roaster too. She also uses hers at least twice a week. The oval shape makes this pot perfect for roasts and chickens. I can cook a 4-5 lb chick in this pot. Last Thanksgiving, I bought a large turkey breast and cooked it slowly, over the course of the day. It was so tender and moist. Excellent! I have used many of the recipes in the small recipe book that was included with my Nesco Roaster, and all of them have been hits! You simply cannot go wrong with this pot!

This is my 1st juicer. I feel it is very easy to clean & re-assemble, 5 min max, not a lot of parts. You can get a lot of juice, a good 8 oz cup from a large apple if it is fresh & juicy. If it is not real fresh & is mealy dont bother juicing, you will hardly get any and the juice will have pulp in it & it will cause juicer to back up. Also juices spinach, carotts, kiwi & grapes well.

You can juice a lot without having to clean the pulp out of the machine. Works great.

I love this rice cooker. It has a timer and a porridge setting which allows you to cook rice porridge or oatmeal for breakfast and have it waiting for you when you wake up. This is a small size cooker-perfect for two people. They also make a 5 cup cooker which would be better for a family. I recommend buying the book "The Complete Rice Cooker Cookbook" as the user manual is quite minimal. There is a setting for quick cook rice if you are in a hurry, otherwise the regular setting makes perfect, fluffy, moist rice. I never thought that a rice cooker would be one of my favorite appliances.

My mother bought this rice cooker for me at least 5 or 6 years ago, and it has worked wonderfully during this time. I lived alone for several years and could not eat more than a cup of rice for a meal. When I have cooked small amounts of rice--one cup or two cups--in other larger rice cookers (i.e., 5 cup rice cookers or more) the rice would never cook well. It was often over-cooked with the rice browning at the bottom or unevenly cooked. However, this rice cooker is the first one I have used that can actually cook one cup of rice perfectly! The rice tastes even better when cooked on the "regular" cooking time for rice, but it works wonderfully on short timer too (which I use more than regular time).

I've used the cooker for differnent types of rice and different amounts. I have cooked up to 3 cups of rice and it works flawlessly. I've not only used with Japanese (sticky rice) but with longer grain rice (for Chinese food), Basmati, Jasmine, and brown rice and it works (however, the brown rice takes longer to cook).

The small size is terrific; it doesn't take up space. I only hope that it comes out in a more square shape to fit better in corners, but I know this is such a crazy thing to write. I would highly recommend this cooker for single people, small families, or people who just cook rice occasionally.

I 've been using this apple peeler for about six years. It still works great and makes pies a breeze. Even easy enough for kids to use! Much more stable than the kind you have to clamp to the table.

I saw this thing in action and it works great. It was sturdy, worked very quickly and was easy to use. It does exactly what it claims to do and does it well. Peeled easily and cored easily.

This is a great value and enduring product. I've had my Rival crock pot for over 10 years, and have used it literally HUNDREDS of times. This is another one of those very low cost but high value kitchen tools.

The low setting allows for slow (12 hour+) cooking overnight or all day. I love to put on a pot of chili before I go to bed or work, and let the house soak up the aroma!

Just be careful with the countertop placement, as the sides get very hot!

When I was looking for a crockpot, I wanted something affordable and durable. My Mom had a Rival crock pot when I was younger (it was orange and older than the hills). My Dad also has an older version of this one, only it has a plastic lid. After 10 years, the lid broken, but it still works.

I got this one and love it. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that are available with some of the more costly models, nor does it have a design. It is just a nice crock pot that is big enough for a small roast or a pot of chili (which is great on a winter's day)

I've had an older model for around six years and it's wonderful! I use it several times per week. Today I just had to write a review because I made cauliflower soup. One part called for transfering the soup into a blender in batches. All I had to do was stick the blender into the sauce pan - quick, easy, no mess to deal with!

I have been making smoothies almost everyday and they come out great. Put my decaf coffee and 1% milk in the microwave and froth it with this stick-like device and in 10 seconds it froths. Have used it to whip baked potatoes into creamy mashed. Am always thinking I'm over-taxing its little motor, but no, I start it up and its still working.
