This pot is my pride and joy
I had been "lusting" after a Le Creuset Dutch Oven for a couple of years, but couldn't justify the cost to myself. I love to cook, and my specialties are soups and stews. I finally decided I was worth it, and asked for it for Christmas last year. I love it! It gets lots of use, and was well worth the price. I sear meat in it, add my other soup/stew ingredients, and once brought to temperature, I turn the burner (gas) as low as it will go and just let it simmer happily for hours, with never a scorch or hot spot. It does not allow your soups/stews to cook away through steam, as the heavy tight-fitting lid retains the moisture and redeposits it back to the food. And it's so darn pretty! As Emeril would say, it makes me "happy, happy, happy".

Cook like a pro all day!
I had seen these pots in action on all of the cooking shows, so I figured they were serious cookware. After careful consideration I finally purchased the seven quart dutch oven, in the cherry red color. This size is perfect to make enough stew for my whole family, and the cooking qualities of this pot are just as they are billed. It browned the stew meat, deglazed beautifully, heated evenly, and went right in the oven for the final cooking phase. After dinner I was thrilled to see that Le Creuset's cast-iron cookware cleans just as easily as their stoneware line. Although this pot is VERY heavy, the benefits of cast iron far outweigh this "downside". I should have bought one of these pots years ago and I recommend one to anyone who loves to cook as I do.

Must Have
This has got to be one of the best kitchen "utensils" that we have. Soups, stews, braised dishes; this guy does it all. We have the 7 quart size and it is perfect. Only once did anything burn on, and Barkeepers Helper cleaned it right up.
We use it mostly on the stove top, but it does great in the oven also.
Right up there with the stainless steel 12 in. All-Clad pan and the All-Clad 12in. non stick pan.
Pricy, but amortize the cost over 101 years (the warranty) and it is well worth it.

Good pot
I gave this only three stars because of the lid--all those tips that provide the self-basting are a pain to season. The pot itself has performed wonderfully for me.

Lodge is the best !
This was my first cast iron cooking vessel. I just love the thing (tho' it is a little heavy for my 5 foot 1', 100 pound frame- in addition to cooking, it provides a really good daily workout). I have found this dutch oven to be so versatile that I cook almost everything in it. I am Indian and love cooking, and have cooked Indian, American, Chinese, Mexican food, and my own creations in it. It just keeps going from electric stove, to oven to dining table, and takes all of the abuse (I have used it to cook acidic foods like tomatoes, lemons, etc., alkaline foods, neutral foods, even Indian spices like turmeric do not destroy it- turmeric can spell doom for a lot of cookware). I have even used it on the stove top to cook cornbread and Indian flatbreads (my expensive non stick skillet did not survive the Indian flatbread cooking).

This will last a lifetime!
Yes,this is a large, very heavy pot, but that's because it is worth it's weight in gold. You will never have to replace this pan, your great-great grandchildren could still be using it. The price is an unbelievable bargain. It makes enough chili or stew for a small army and is great for braising large roasts. It also bakes cakes beautifully! You will not be sorry you bought it. If you don't cook for over 4 people ever, you probably want the 5 qt.

It's a microawave
This is a very nice unit but it is not perfect. The carousel does not allow one to set things in the corners. This proves to be a problem when proofing bread. On cold days I often heat a quart of water to boiling and set it in the corner, then place my bread in to rise.
The quick button is not as convenient as the one I have on my sharp unit. On the sharp microwave I just push the button and it turns on for a minute. On this unit I push the button for a minute then push start. The extra button push is engineered into the unit and is a pain. I do like the fact that the carousel plate can be removed and cleaned but keep in mind that it is 16" in diameter and may NOT fit in your dishwasher. Despite the 1300 watt rating, it is not appreciably faster than my very old GE, nor my 900 watt Sharp.

Buy this one
The inverter technology is really a huge advance in the performance of this microwave oven. I can't imagine why anyone would buy a microwave oven without this feature.
The capicity is large and I find the controls easy to use.
I really use this oven most frequently for defrosting. The inverter turbo defrost feature has no peer. No more dried out edges with still frozen interiors - those are a thing of the past. Just enter the weight of the food, press start and forget it.
If you are in the market for a big microwave stop looking and buy this one.

Great product
Purchased this oven and extreamly happy with it's performance and great style. If it had any more power, you would be able to take xrays with it. The INVERTER technology works as promised. I don't think any of the competition has this feature. Does a great job on defrost cycle. The unit is large and will rotate a full size baking dish on it's 16.5" turntable. Make sure you have enough counter space for its size. I also noticed how quiet in operation this Panasonic is, and no longer do you hear the clicking of the on/off cycle that all other microwaves make, thanks again to the Inverter technology. BUY IT!

Read this before you buy
The oven is well made but their are a few thing it does not do for the price.

1. The top of this oven gets extremely hot. Not just hot to the touch. People used to a microwave will be very suprised by this.
A little insulation would have gone a long way here. This is a serious safety consideration.

2. This item keeps cooking after the beeps. Auto shutoff occurs after 4 hours. Microwave users beware. If you dont respond to the beeps your food is "TOAST". This could be a fire hazzard unless you are real carefull.

3. Their is no light inside to help determine when your food is done.

4. The LCD display is not backlit. Not good for the baby boomer generation.

In summery: This item is designed to overcook the food you can`t see and burn you at the same time.

An excellent product, with a few minor flaws...
This is the nicest toaster oven I've even used. It has the most even heat and reproducible results. As an oven, it's better than most full-size ovens, provided what you want to cook will fit. Since this is a fairly large toaster oven, it can fit most small meals. The convection function is very handy if you're in a hurry or want extra crispness. Convection will shave 20-50% off your cooking time, depending on the thickness of your food.

The good: Even heat. Temperature sensor gives accurate toasting time after time. Convection feature. Looks slick.
The bad: Loud beep when done. Door does not pull bottom rack out. Interior light would have been nice. Expensive.

Awesome little machine..
We live in a NYC apartment and the appliances are typically the cheapest that can be purchased by the penny pinching, tight fisted landlord. Try to bake or broil in a bad oven and your results won't be great and you end up with a nice Power/Gas bill.

So, I went online to search for a decent toaster oven. I never intended to find a unit which would allow me to cook roaster chickens. I just wanted it for quick use such as for bagels, garlic bread, nachos, etc. After reading the reviews for this machine here and at epinions.com I decided to blow the (much more than I wanted) dollars on this unit. It has not disappointed me. It has been perfect actually. It pre-heats quickly (a beep lets you know it's ready) and it cooks perfectly especially with the convection feature on.
We have used it for two months now and it is perfect for 5-6 pound chickens (cooks very fast!) and bagels, cookies, toast, garlic bread, etc. To my way of thinking, it makes no sense to spend less $$'s on a lousy unit which rewards you with a few years of poorly cooked food. Spend the $$'s on this one and you won't be disappointed. I bought it on Amazon(with free shipping and no tax!- Sorry NY, no 8.6% for you:)and it was delivered in two days. Amazon has got their $h-t together!! I now buy just about all small appliances from Amazon even if they aren't the cheapest and they deliver fast and efficiently and don't waste my time.

Beware of Teflon, there are new health concerns
This roaster oven is a legend in performance. For decades, the Nesco has defined the category. I have never heard a bad word about the cooking capabilities of a Nesco roaster oven. However, newer scientific findings might point to a "canary in the coal mine" with regard to home use of Teflon pans.

I am very happy with the Nesco slow cooker, which has a crock pot. It cooks wonderfully and is easy to clean. I wish they made a similar pan for this roaster oven.

It is unhappy news but I'd recommend that before buying this unit with the Teflon lined pan, please do Google something about newer findings: Teflon cooking appears to put molecules of some odd chemicals into the blood of those who eat the food - and it sticks for a good four years at least.

I felt so uncomfortable with this news, I bought a roaster oven that does not have a teflon pan. Porcelainized steel or stainless is going to have to do until I get WAY more assurances with regard to the health consequences of having strange chemicals in the blood for years and years. I am dumping all cookware with Teflon linings.

It Does The Job
Our oven broke, so I bought this for a temporary help until my family could afford a new stove. I love it!! I tend to use it to make chicken. I also take it on the road to help family for smaller dishes during the holidays when the oven is filled.
The only thing I haven't mastered with it is baking. Still, got more than what I payed for!!

DON'T HESITATE TO PURCHASE
BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FOR LAST YEAR'S THANKSGIVING DINNER. TURKEY COOKED IN LESS TIME THAN ALLOTTED IN COOKING DIRECTIONS. TASTY, JUICY, SKIN BROWNED NICELY. WHENEVER I NEED A LARGE AMOUNT OF FOOD I COOK IT IN THIS OVEN. EASY TO CLEAN, NO BURNING OF FOOD. I ALSO HAVE THE 4 AND 6 QUART ROASTERS. KEEPS THE KITCHEN COOL. RECENTLY PURCHASED 4,6,18 QUART ROASTERS AS ENGAGEMENT GIFT.

great pan , great price $34.99
This a wonderful pan. Don't think you can beat Calphalon Commercial Nonstick. I have had other cheaper nonstick and they don't last like Calphalon does.
Make sure you do not put this or other Calphalon into the dishwasher, it will void out the warentee. And Calphalon is known for giving the best garentee's on there products, with out questions, if you use it right.

I bought 2 of these for $39.99, then the price went to $49.99 and I bought one more (for my kids).
If a price on Amazon goes down with-in 30days after you buy it, call Amazon and they will refund you the differents.
I do notice that the price's here change as fast as the stock market does!
But for this price $34.99 I will buy one and save it for Xmas, or Chunuka, never know who is going to show up, but for this price who cares..

I called Calphalon about this pan, and they said this is going our of stock, as they now make it with , one long handle and one short one, for alot more money on amazon.
Personnaly, I have the new one with the long handle also, but like this one better.
This one fits on my stove better, and hang up most of my Calphalon, easier with the short handles. also this one takes up less room in your pantry to store.

This 4qt is not real big for a big family, but it is a really nice size. Can be used for vegies, chicken , lots of rice, fried potatoes, great for reheating left overs, etc.
Can even be used for a small stir fry, for 2 people.

I don't think you would be disapointed in this pan. You will find you will use this for alot of your cooking needs, and for this size and price for Calphalon commercial nonstick, heck you can't lose..Think this was the top of the line for Calphalon, till the new infused just came out!
But I like this nonstick better.

I'm buying another!!! Great pan for Mac and Cheese
The 2nd or 3rd time I used this pan, I burned it so badly, I thought for sure it was "trash". Not this pan, it works great, still hasn't peeled, and is absolutely fantastic for making macaroni and cheese, the cheese sauce rinses out great. I also use it to "Quick Cook" veggies like Broccoli, Cauliflower etc. Where I add a little bit of water and blast it at high heat for about 4 minutes. I find myself reaching for this pan time and time again.

Wonderful for Everything!! :-)
An excellent pan both for stovetop and oven cooking - have sauteed hashbrowns to baking chicken caccitore. I would highly recommend this pan - great for cooking and easy clean up (which is good because half the time I'm washing it to cook something else in it :-))

Excellent product for what it does
This is the perfect size for our small toaster/oven. We can grill, broil, toast and bake with our new set. Just right for feeding a small family without heating up the large oven.

Incredibly handy!
If you use your toaster oven as often as I do, you will find these pans indispensable, especially the cookie sheet. Its the perfect size for heating something quickly, and it washes beautifully. A great purchase for those who like "quick & easy" in the kitchen.

What a great set
This is a great toaster oven set for anyone who uses their toaster oven. I feed a family of 4 and I've used the casserole pan to cook many things - baked apples, au gratin potatoes, mac and cheese - it's great. The food does not stick to any of the pieces. They are nice and sturdy and clean very easily. I highly recommend this set - especially in the heat of the summer when most of us don't want to turn on our ovens!

Bubble face
This microwave works great but after 2 weeks of use the plastic face over the numbers has started to bubble. I love the power that this machine has but since it is defective, I'm returning it.

Genius Sensor
If you haven't bought a microwave in a while, and don't know about this Geniun sensor cooking function, it is the greatest thing since packaged microwave popcorn.
You just tell the oven what you are cooking and it figures out how long to cook. It has sensors that gage how hot and steamy the food is, and stops when the food is steamy and hot enough. So, I'll have no learning curve time trying to figure out how long this microwave needs to heat stuff as compared with my old wimpy one. Of course, you can still set the timer yourself if you want to know the future with certainty- when the heck is it going to beep!!
Speaking of the beep, it is quite tolerable. My last one was so annoying that I wanted to stand there and stop it with 1 sec left just so I wouldn't hear that sound.
This is the biggest microwave I've seen in a while. the 2.O cf was bigger than my tv, so it looked a little rediculous. The 1.6 is plently big enough.
And the scrolling text is a scream, especially when it's scrolling "Hot Dog" like the walking venders at a baseball game: Ho-o-o-o-o-ot Do-o-o-o-og!
I was originally excited about the Inverter Defrost thing, but after reading the manuel, I decided my expectation of microwave defrosting was unrealistic in general- there is going to have to be stand time after something comes out of the oven, no matter how fancy the defrost cycle name is.
I love this big oven and am seeking out the largest microwave safe dishes available now.

Best Microwave EVER!!!
I am a Owner Operator Truck Driver. I live in my truck about 330 days a year. I do allot of cooking in my microwave. While in San Antonio,Tx.my microwave stoped working in the middle of cooking a 11lb bone in ham. We went to the store and bought a Panasonic NN-SA76WF 1.6 Cu. Ft 1300 Watt microwave. It was called a Invertor but I was not sure what that ment. It means NO HOT SPOTS and even cooking with out power surgers!!!! I cooked the ham. In my other microwave the skin would turn black like burned, not in this microwave!! I cooked Chicken in a Mc Cormick cooking bag. It is cut up chicken with gravy. In my other Microwave oven the gravy would be very thick. In the Panisonic it was like gravy made on top of the stove. My daught loved it so much I gave her the Panasonic and I will be ordering one for me now!!I was not sure if I wanted a 1300 Watt microwave, not sure how much time to take off of my recipes I was use to. I used the same time and my meals were perfect!! We cooked cup cakes. They were perfect, better than out of a regular oven. The price is low!!!! Thank You for giving me a chance to tell what a wounderful Microwave Oven by Panasonic Invertor is!! Thank you

Great for those hot days when you don't want to cook...
I _love_ this roaster. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about buying it - after all I have a stove with an oven, how would this make my life better?

Here's how - it has an adjustable temperature control on the outside, it's easy to clean up after, it takes up very little room and most important in hot humid places such as Baltimore, it doesn't heat up your kitchen in the summer. So you can roast a chicken for chicken sandwiches or even chicken Ceasar salad without heating up the whole house. You can roast your beef with some potatoes, carrots and celery. You can even make a family favorite, meatloaf, and the rack ensures the meatloaf isn't sitting in it's own fat. Because you can put this roaster on your counter, you don't hurt your back by trying to put a roaster in the oven.

Of course, I use this pan frequently - I used it Thanksgiving to roast the ham, freeing the oven for the turkey and the other fixings, for Christmas for the turkey breast and right now I have a whole chicken in it for tonight's dinner. That leaves my oven free for rolls and dressing and maybe a cake - no staggering the cooking/baking with this handy tool.

I did detect a slight odor upon first use, but you are warned about it in the instruction manual. It was _not_ overpowering and did not cause any distress because I was expecting it. I'm only addressing this issue because somebody else mentioned it.

Easy to clean up, easy to use - I recommend this product highly, especially if you're cooking for a family or if you entertain a lot - it makes cooking so much easier.

...and it's so versatile!
Last year one of my colleagues brought in his roaster oven for us to use for our annual Thanksgiving potluck . . . . the turkey turned out moist and delicious. He also talked about all of the other ways he uses it for other than turkey . . . I put this on my wish list and love my Rival Roaster Oven! The turkey turns out wonderful . . . . . this year's wish list includes the buffet server inserts so that once the turkey is done, we can use the roaster to keep the other foods warm!

Regarding the bad review, the consumer says that the roaster that smelled had been used . . . . the fact that there were problems with it don't seem to be the fault of the manufacturer . . . .

great roaster
I purchased this roaster to cook my thanksgiving turkey because my mother has been using an electric roaster for many years and i've always wanted to do the same. The turkey turned out delicious. I trusted the rival name because i have a rival crock pot that has been very reliable for the last five years. It cooked the turkey to perfection in the right amount of time. The built on lid rest was so convenient while checking the turkey and getting broth out. The roasting rack made it so easy to remove the turkey and best of all - it cleaned up so easily. i look forward to cooking different foods in it. anyone looking for a great roaster (which also looks nice) this is the one!!!

great portable cookware
not only can you bake a pizza, you can make cookies, warm bread slices etc. very sturdy and a good buy. good for doing demos at expos and in-store demos. highly recommended for college students living in dorms.

I Love This Contaption!!!
This pizza maker is really an excellent product, a real essential for any pizza lovers out there. The best pizzas I have ever tasted were the result of this wonder-gadget.

The Crust:
The pizza crusts always come out thick and perfect: slightly cripsy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside and far surpasses the pizza stones in the quality of the crust.

The Quantity Made:
The pizza comes out about 1 1/2 inches thick and generally makes enough to feed 8 people. I have not tried to bake a frozen pizza in the oven, so am not aware of its capabilities in that area, but from a home-made pizza standpoint this is the best gadget you can get.

The Recipe Pamphlet:
The recipe pamphlet included with the pizza maker gives a choice of two dough recipes as well as for a multitude of different pizzas, all of which are excellent and give a good basis for experimentation.

Some tips for the buyer:
Put any veggies containing a lot of water (such as green peppers) on the pizza 5 minutes before the pizza is finished instead of at the beginning. The veggies will come out warm and crunchy and do not waterlog the crust. Remember that 20 minutes is the cooking time, not the making time. Leave about 1 1/2 hours for total preparation.

pizza comes out great
All I can say is that it comes out like N.Y pizza. I gave it to me daughter for christmas 2yrs. ago and I love the pizza you can get that great crust. I am about to
order another one for myself.

Where they make great pizza, I think this comes close
