We love this product. It is easy to use with our 10 and 12 year old children. The cookie recipes enclosed were delicious and easy to make.

This is my second Black and Decker Toaster Oven. The first one lasted several years through heavy use. I was very satisfied with it. It is a good basic oven, no frills, just reliable. I am very excited to see a reconditioned one for such a good price.

This is a really affordable turbo oven for this price. Although it doesnt seems as solid as others, its quite a good value.

This is what I'd call a good starter rotisserie. It's easy to use, with clear instructions, but has some drawbacks:
1) The directions for cooking usually are for the maximum amounts. For example, directions are provided for cooking 4 hamburgers, but not 1 or 2. The same with steaks or cornish hens. The instructions only include directions for the maximum the unit can hold. This means some experimentation if your're single or don't entertain a lot.
2) The unit cooks chickens great, but some experience has to be gleened along the way in how to properly tie the bird's wings and legs, or else they rub against the heating element or impede the rotisserie.
3) Cleaning is generaly not a problem, with the exception of the roll-up window. How Salton thinks we can clean the entire glass surface is beyond me.

Overall this is a good addition for the kitchen at the price.

I recv'd a pair of these for xmas 2 yrs ago and they are the best thing since sliced bread. Mine have magnets so they hang on the side of the microwave and no more burnt fingers when the dishes are too hot to remove! The only reason I gave this 4 stars is the price. I thought they'd make the perfect stocking stuffer for friends and family until I saw the price. Sure, I suppose not burning your hands is worth it, but then why aren't regular potholders for the stove that expensive? If you find these at a reasonable price, scoop all you can up for everyone you know!

I love this little hot mitt for removing pans from the oven! When I purchased this item I was a bit skeptical. It seems too thin to properly insulate. I have found that it performs wonderfully for removing cookie trays, and baking pans from the oven. I really like the fact that I can pop it into the top rack of the dishwasher for cleaning. No more grungy cloth hot mitts. YEAH!!! I'm not sure how it will survive the inevitable accidental setting down on the stovetop burner. I'm NOT looking forward to that day.

The grabber is not the best for holding hot pans for an extended period of time. I used it to hold a pan full of pizza (heated in a 425 degree oven). I picked up the pan, carried it to the dining room and attempted to serve our family of 5. By the time I got to the third serving I HAD to set the pan down because the heat of the pan was penetrating the silicone grabber.

Great for the kitchen but don't considering using it to hold a pan while serving.

When I was a teenager my best friends mother had one and I fell in love with these wonderful pots! Its great for people like me who want a cast iron pot but have a tendency to not season them as well as they should be or let them soak (who knew cast iron rusts?) The enamel coating on the Le Creuset pots keep that from happening and also makes cleaning them pretty darn easy. Yeah, they tend to be a little on the heavy side but I think it is well worth the weight.

Pros:
-- very quiet
-- nice design
-- extremely powerful (1350 watts)
-- (Panasonic claims) consistent distribution of microwave energy
-- very lightweight (31.50 lbs)

Cons:
-- rather hot on the magnetron side
-- screen is placed too deep inside (you can't fully see digits while standing.)
-- sensor reheat (at least it was not my favorite.)
-- "Beverages" feature is not programmed for ordinary beverages. (2-3 minutes for 1 cup ! though works at around 30% of total power, still makes the beverage too hot.)

Worst:
-- while using the "Keep Warm" feature, I found the magnetron side a bit overheated, also smelled overheated plastics.

now when I start the machine it works for exactly 23 seconds and stops and there's no sign of heat! returned it today!

I've had two Sharp model microwaves and both of them either broke or had problems. So I bought another Sharp, right? Third time is a charm? No way, so I went shopping for a new model. I looked at many different manufacterers and the SamSung stainless steel model caught my eye. The unit has a very clean sleek look and the stainless steel exterior is easy to clean and looks great near the stainless steel door of my dish washer. So much for asthetics. :) As far as performance, this microwave is of the turntable type. The interior is large enough for a large plate or platter of food and there is ample power to heat or defrost anything. A nice touch about this microwave are the preprogrammed time buttons on the front for popular food items. There are auto time buttons for popcorn, pizza, bacon etc. This makes it easy to reheat or cook certain foods without guessing. The defrost fearture is very accurate. It asks you for the approximate weight of the food you are defrosting, you choose the correct weight, and the microwave takes over. Very cool. Added to the features of this unit are the variable power settings, kitchen timer, minute time add button, frozen food setting, and a host of other functions. This unit is a good buy for the price and is very easy to use. I have had no problems with it and am very satisfied.
