I make a lot of pies and have spill overs all the time! The oven guard has cut my clean up time tremendously! The hole in the bottom lets the oven's heat get to the pan so the bottom crust still cooks and the non stick is really easy to clean. Love it!

This is a great microwave for the whole family!

We bought this model of microwave from a Walmart store in Elko, Nevada and we like it so well that we were looking for another one for one of our relatives and nobody has one.

This model is great because you can cook 2 large size tv dinners at once. Inverter Turbo defrost unlike any other allows you to defrost by entering the weight of the meat you are defrosting, thus eliminating guessing how much time you should defrost.

We wish we could find another one like it, hence the title "Where are they now?" We are very happy with this model and would reccommend it to anybody.

This is a really good-looking microwave. It has a sleek front and is very roomy. The performance is great. It defrosts like a dream. The Invertor Turbo Defrost allows you to defrost meat, chicken, seafood, etc. by entering the weight. I used to "guesstimate" defrosting with my old microwave with the inevitable result of cooking large portions of my frozen hamburger. This is terrific!!
I love the popcorn feature that automatically gauges the time it takes to pop a package of popcorn perfectly.
I highly recommend this microwave.

Great little microwave for the money! Perfect for those who only use the microwave to reheat food and want to conserve counter space.

I decided to let others know what a great microwave this is -- I own the previous model (NN-S562) which is nearly identical to this model. The NN-S563 has the following updates over the previous model:
-- Additional 50 Watts power for total of 1350W
-- New Beverage and Keep Warm buttons
-- Bacon button has been removed

I have been using the NN-S562 for over a year now and I am continually impressed with its performance with each new item that I nuke. I bought this unit to replace a 17 year old Panasonic that was still going strong, but had an interior that was rusting out. My old microwave had a manual, rotary timer dial and only 500 Watts of power -- however, it was very easy to use. I bought this Panasonic after learning that the Sensor Reheat function was as simple as pushing 2 buttons (Reheat & Start), which greatly appealed to me. I thought the inverter technology was a lot of hype, until I reheated some mac & cheese -- evenly heated, no major cold spots and no overdone crusty edges! Same with reheating pizza and numerous other items. And the 1300 Watts of power gets the job done in less than half the time my old oven took. Popcorn is a breeze with the Popcorn button -- and no misguessing the time and having charred popcorn. The only item to caution users about is that there are exhaust vents on the left side of the cabinet which necessitate leaving at least an inch of room between the oven and the wall on that side -- otherwise, the unit will run very hot (you can feel this on the top of the cabinet near the magnetron tube). Also, it would be nice if the oven light came on when the door was opened to facilitate cleaning (it only comes on when running). Other than those minor drawbacks, I have only praise for this microwave -- I am looking forward to many more years of dependable service from a Panasonic appliance.

I don't write ad copy for a living, but if I did this would be a product that would need no lily-gilding extras to say that it's a great piece of work. The things I read on the box are absolutely true and the rating by a consumer organization is right on target. This is the best microwave we've ever owned.

I just recieved this microwave and haven't used all of the features, but so far I love it. My 11 year old 1.2cu unit was on it's way out, so I was looking to replace it. I did some researche and discovered this panasonic. I am impressed with the size, speed of heating and most of all how quiet the microwave is compared to my old one. It has reheat settings for all kinds of little things like soup, cups of coffee, just to name a few that i've tried. It also reads "enjoy your meal" when it's done.

The results are simply stunning! Using the very same recipe and ingredients I always use, I have made pizza as good as the best I have ever eaten. The crust is actually crunchy, and chewy. It produces perfect, pizzaria-style crust. Now on to baking bread. Do spring for a pizza peel, you'll need it to get the assembled pizza on and off the stone.

it in, I really do need a cord about 12 inches
longer. It would really help if I could get a
longer cord for this appliance. Please do what
you can to ship me a longer cord. I will be glad
to pay for it. I can't use it as often as I need
to because of the cord being to short for the space
I have for it. Thanks again for helping me get a longer
cord.
