The best single pan for the family on the go
If you could own only one of the ScanPan products, this is the one to have! We use this pan to cook soups and stews, stir-fry meats and vegetables and even to bake in. It's large enough to cook a meal for a family yet still light enough to handle easily. Its high sides allow you to stir-fry or deep-fry without the oil spitting all over the range-top. The ScanPan non-stick coating is a wonderful material. Almost everything just rinses off it. More tenacious materials, like burned-on gravy from beef stew, can usually be removed simply by soaking overnight, with a quick handwash in the morning. If all else fails the factory-supplied steel wool will polish it right up! We cook in one of these pans almost every day and love it!

Popcorn for the record books
I'm not one to write reviews of appliances, but I have been very pleased with this microwave. When it's time to upgrade from a $39 dorm microwave, this is the one for you. Lots of bang for your buck.

I am particularly impressed with the sensor feature of the Sharp. When making popcorn, for example, you touch the "popcorn" button once and the overn turns on automatically. When the inside of the microwave reaches a certain temperature the sensor shuts off the oven automatically for ZERO unpopped and ZERO burned kernels. I'm considering calling the Guiness Book of World Records on that one.

Frozen meals cook evenly. I also like that the turntable is flush with the bottom of the oven.

Best Buy was recently selling it for $99 (I purchased it for $89), so $79 is an excellent price. Buy it and be happy.

This is nice!!!
After much researching, I purchased this combination unit about 6 weeks ago. I cook small amounts, use frozen foods much of the time, and disliked having to heat the large oven for this. The dual function rocks, and so far, the unit has met my expectations 100%: the 900 watt microwave is faster than my old 600 watt; the convection is about 25% faster than my regular gas oven; and it browns and makes things crispy just like the regular oven. So cool!!!!

I haven't tried "real" cooking, like roasting meats or baking, but I don't doubt that it would perform just fine.

It is big, and that is ok with me. If I need to do larger amounts, there is plenty of room. There are two round racks, one for broiling and one for baking, which are removed when using the microwave. One curious thing is that the instructions say that when popping microwave popcorn to put the bag on top of an overturned glass pie plate or dish. They do mean this!! I tried just putting the bag on the turntable and about 10 kernals popped in 4 minutes!!! When I did as they instructed, it popped just fine. Also, since this is counter-top level and the door swings out, it is much more convenient to use than the regular oven.

So far I have no complaints. The free shipping from Amazon was great and it got to me in just a few days. I haven't needed to contact Sharp for customer service so can't comment on that.

One final note: I suspect that I won't be using my gas oven again. If not for the burners on top, I'd probably not need the range at all.

Grabbitz are best new item
Grabbitz are the best new item. It's a great size when a regular pot hold is too big and awkward. When you need just a little protection to take a plate or hot potato out of the microwave this is great. It's a perfect gift for the cook or hostess who has everything. It lets you get a secure grip on what you are picking up instead of guessing and fumbling with a big mitt.

Great Product
This is a great product, much like the Galloping Gourmet Convection Oven that came out about 10 years ago. I ordered this product when my old oven finally gave up the ghost after 10 years. I thought I would never find a similar product that would work like my old oven, but this one does. If you want oven quality food microwave fast, this is your product. It is well worth the price, I paid twice that for my old oven. Thanks Supentown and Amazon. Great Product!!!!

Great roaster for porkchops and fish
We eat a lot of porkchops and fish and we use this grill/roaster for cooking it. This is a great Zoji machine and it's a healthy way of cooking. Cleaning up like all electric grills and roasters is not the easiest thing to do.

Pizza Perfect
I love pizza and as soon as I saw this item I picked one up. This oven cooks fresh pizzas as well as frozen pizzas from the grocer. Once you have one of these, you don't need to follow the individual frozen pizza instructions ever again. Cooking times are listed on the back of the Pizzazz unit, with 10 minutes being the average for most pizzas. Simply place the pizza on the oven, set the timer to 10 minutes, and watch the pizza cook as it rotates. If you want perfect pizza, this is the best way to do it because you have complete access to the pizza while it is cooking. The pizzas I've made with the Pizzazz have come out crisper and more evenly cooked then anything I've made with a conventional oven. This is mostly due to the fact that there are heating elements both above and below the pizza. If you love pizza, you'll love the Pizzazz.

Excellent Pizza Cooker - 5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My new gas oven would not cook my pizzas properly. I am a real pizza lover and have cooked frozen pizzas a lot for years. I was very frustrated with my oven. The only way I could come near to cooking my pizzas was by placing them directly on the oven rack and letting it cook for a longer time. When I saw the commercial for this pizza cooker, my eyes lit up. My husband bought it for me for Christmas. I have used it for rising crust, fresh, and regular frozen pizzas and it cooks them perfectly. I am very pleased.

Love it , love it , love it!
We got this for Christmas, and we have all but worn the poor thing out. Yet, after all our abuse, and heavy use, it still is going strong.

This is the perfect thing for pizza lovers! We love not having to wait for the oven to heat up, and to be able to cook a pizza in about 12 mins is great when you are busy. This even works well with the DiGornos, and other rising crust pizzas that never really cook all the way in the oven.

We hope that we will get another one when ours does finally kick the bucket, but it's been 2 years so far, and we haven't had to replace or repair it. This is high quality. Just be careful when you clean the tray, don't use anything abrasive or you will peel off the non-stick part, but this is something most of you already know from working with Teflon pots and pans.

Get one, you'll love it!

Good, but not the wonder product it sounds like.
I am writing this after 6 months of owning the product. While I like it, I don't think it delivers on the expectations set by reading some reviews and product features. This product has several really good features (one-touch buttons for toast from frozen bread and for frozen pizza) and one odd one (frozen hash browns. Is that such a common food in the U.S.). Overall, however, the high-performance claims seem to come up short. In 90% of cases, the oven is no faster than any other toaster oven I've owned, except on frozen 12-inch pizzas. Most of the time, I have to add extra time after pressing the frozen pizza button. The good news is the one-button cycle is never going to burn the pizza. The bad news is you can't be certain how much extra time you have to add, though you'll always finish faster than 20 minutes as listed on the DiGiorno box. Frozen bread also is an inexact setting. If I have to set the darkness setting to the extreme side to get toast, it's not really much better than my old toaster. And it doesn't broil - as you will read and I knew going in. So, overall, it is an okay machine, but I might wait until the next generation before buying it.

Great toast, chintzy rack
My only complaint is that the toasting rack inside this toaster doesn't attach well. It hooks onto a sliding bar at the back of the toaster that isn't securely attached to the unit and always falls out unless you open the door VERY CAREFULLY. This can be frustrating before coffee. Especially if the rack is already hot, but you want to close the door again.

A great toaster, but not for baking
First I must say that this toaster oven makes better toast than any other toaster oven I have used. That said, there are a few things that disappointed me.
1. There is an on/off button. It would be better if using the other buttons turned it on automatically and it should turn off automatically when the cycle ends.
2. That light is bright! Very strange to have space-alien lighting emanating from the toaster over. A tinted door would be nice.
3. Not good for baking. This oven does a great job of heating the surface, but not so great heating the center of things. Even cookies did not fare well.
4. The oven is hotter in back and cooler in front. It even mentions this in the instructions. Large items such as pizza need to be rotated partway through heating.
5. The temperature increments are weird and won't match most recipes.

It does, however, make great toast. Even Pepperidge Farm's Texas Toast worked well. Any other toaster oven I have used has always toasted the top and bottom unevenly, leaving a crunchy top and soggy bottom. Grilled cheese sandwiches work great too. I love the Frozen Toast button - the button I use most. Hopefully Panasonic will correct the annoyances with the next model, but I'm still keeping this one.

Just right with an added light
Our beloved DeLonghi toaster oven cratered after 18 years of heavy use, so we replaced it with this attractive Cuisinart unit. The Cuisinart doesn't heat up as fast, but otherwise it is much more versatile. We particularly like the many different tray heights available (at least eight, counting all the permutations of tray height and broiler pan position).

The one shortcoming of the Cuisinart and almost all other new toasters is, as others have pointed out, the lack of an interior light. We solved this problem neatly by attaching a clip-on booklight to the front door handle. Not only is the light thus out of the line of fire, so to speak, but one can focus it on the part of the food due to brown first, and, of course, turn the light off when it isn't needed.

We are using this every day!
We found we love this convection oven. It is well made and does everything well. We are just two people, and find that the toaster oven makes two servings of baked fish, chicken, pork chops or steak perfectly. I also bake 6 muffins, biscuits, cookies or a small cake, custard or pizza in it - the convection feature makes them brown perfectly. It also makes good toast and perfect English muffins. I especially like the fact that preheating takes only 3 minutes or so. I have found that I need to reduce the temperature on my recipes about 25 degrees to keep them from getting overdone and often the cooking time is less as well - less time to preheat and less time to cook at a lower temperature - great! I purchased some nonstick Nordicware sheets to use - better than the pan that came with it but not as large. I warm my plates on top while I'm baking or toasting. I would have to buy another one right away if something happened to this one, but if it is like all my other Cuisinart products, that shouldn't have to be soon.

We love this toaster!
I really enjoy this product. We were looking to replace a basic GE toaster oven we have had for years. The Cuisinart toaster/oven is large enough to do a casserole, and as I am typing this review have a 3# pork loin roast baking in it.(That is a real plus here where it is hot and we don't want to heat up the whole house by turning on the oven). The toaster/bagel feature is great and the claims made by the company regarding even cooking are true. We have not had an opportunity to use the convection feature, but when we do I am sure that it will work just as reliably. I also like the wipe clean front surface with no knobs to break or be difficult to clean around. While it is a bit more expensive than I was planning on spending, I feel that the extra cost is worth it.I highly recommend this model to anyone looking to purchase a new toaster oven combo or replace an old standby.
