I love Nigella and I've been looking (and I've had various friends and family help me look) for a whisk like the one that NG uses on her show since I saw it. I have actually bought two similiar ones that worked really well, but, when I saw the one from her line of kitchen products, I snapped it up. It looks really neat and feels very nice in the hand. However, because the handle is heavier than the whisking part, it falls out of the bowl as soon as you take your hand off of it. This, of course, always happens as I'm carrying a bowl of something messy from one part of the kitchen to the other. FLOP! There goes the whisk and a good dose of batter or eggs right onto the floor (or the top of my foot!) I'm actually very surprised that this design ended up making the cut - perhaps Nigella herself didn't get a chance to test the prototype (or the prototype didn't match the final product, which is possible.)I'm afraid that my very chic Nigella whisk spends most of its days languishing in the back of my gadgets drawer and will, eventually, end up in a shipment to Good Will.
