Still waiting...
I haven't actually received this item yet. I ordered it on February 27, 2003 and was told it would ship in 1-2 weeks. It is now April 28, 2003 and my revised ship date is the end of May. I just thought I would warn others who were maybe needing a cooling rack sooner rather than latter that this rack may not be the best option.

Plenty big.
Its great to have a big rack to fit lots of cookies. It also has the added advantage of small mesh so things do'nt fall through.

Cooling rack with no more crumbs
This is by far the best cooling rack that I have yet to find on the market. It's large size reduces the need to use multiple smaller racks that clutter countertops while baking and cupboards when in storage. The grid design prevents cookies and petit fours from "sinking" between the otherwise single-direction bars found on other standard racks and eliminates the chances for dropping a cookie through two bars. The grid also makes it easy to slide baked goods off the rack onto plates.

Good Quality but so small
How many cookies can you fit on this? Also, why are the cookie cutters metal? It would be nice if I could use them on the sheet sometimes and that would scratch the Teflon. Mmm, I wish I had not purchased it but bought a larger one.

Good quality - but small
The quality looks great for this cookie sheet - very sturdy and appears to have a good non-stick surface. I can't comment on its performance because I haven't used it. It's quite a bit smaller than a "standard" cookie sheet so I think I'm going to return it. It is 12" X 13". Our old cookie sheet is 14" X 16". If size isn't important, then I'd recommend it. Also, the cookie cutters are metal (not a big deal but they looked different in the picture).

Great Deal!
What a deal! This is a great cookie sheet with really neat cookie cutters. I use the cookie cutters to make horsedevours, linzer stacked cookies etc. The unique nested shapes are wonderful! My cookies were the talk of the last party that I brought them to!

doh!
This is the kind of silly gadget that is harder to use and clean up than just doing the task the old fashioned way. Storage is also a problem. Waste of time and money

A Kitchen Gadget that Really Works!
I made cut-out cookies this Christmas using the traditional wooden board and rolling pin with handles and spacer bands to determine height. Today I used the Dobord Set instead. What a difference! I was finished in half the time. I was skeptical about the dowel-style rolling pin as I had never used one. However, together with the Dobord, it flattened and rolled much quicker than the traditional style. It also took less effort which anyone with arthritis can appreciate. The Dobard is easy to set up and the entire process worked exactly as described by the manufacturer. I couldn't be more pleased. I didn't find clean-up any more involved than cleaning the usual wooden board or whatever surface one is using. Storage could be a problem for someone with limited space. I was concerned about this as well. However, after using the Dobord it is well worth finding a place to store it.

"Why didn't I think of that"
This is one of those "Gee, why didn't I think of that" products. I have never had so much fun baking. Everything is perfect. The adjustments are a no-brainer and it cleans up really easy.

Don't waste your [money]
This product seemed pretty good. I admit I wasn't expecting it to last very long, but certainly more than 3 months! Despite handwashing it, it rusted -- in EVERY crevice and intersection, rendering it unusable as far as I was concerned. Plus 2 of the protective foot covers fell off within hours of having it. So I advice everyone to spend a little more and get a higher quality, stainless steel, cooling rack.

Great non-stick grid, great price!
This cooling grid is just as nice as the "pricier" models!! My cakes and cookies did not stick to it, like they have on other non-stick grids I have owned. This grid is large. I have to let my food cool in the livingroom as the grid is too large to fit on my kitchen table or counter. The large size of the grid is a plus when I bake multiple items.

A Wonderful Cooling Rack
This is a great cooling rack for bakers or cooks. Its non-stick coating saves your baked goods from loosing their bottoms and clean up is a breeze (you don't spend lots of time scraping batter or grease out of the grid). The large size can accommodate breads or doughs or lots of cookies or muffins. The grid design also stops your baked goods from sagging through the bottom. I've also used it as a hot plate (but distribute the weight on the rack). It has a 15 year warranty on defects too. NOTE: it may be too big for some people's kitchens (measure your counter space first or be happy using it on the kitchen table). Overall, if you need a good cooling rack, definately spend your money on this!

What a Disappointment
I used this maybe a dozen times before I stopped using it out of disgust. The surface is fragile and hard to clean. I reheated pizza and the residue stuck so tightly it could only be scraped off with extreme care. I did a bone-in slow roast and the weight alone pierced the surface so the juices bled into the matting layer. What's the point if you can't clean it or let anything harder than Jell-O come into contact with it.
Just to clarify--the mat was used to line an air-bake cookie sheet for the pizza and to line a baking pan with the roast on top of a bed of carrots and celery.

I agree that this is a great product
My first experience with a silicone mat was nothing short of a revelation, so I went on a mission to see if the several brands available offered anything the others lacked. In my opinion, this one performs as well as the others that I have used (which is to say it's fantastic). I use them for pastry, cookies, and any other baking that normally threatens me with over baked bottom sides, and breakage due to sticking. I have not used them for candy, but sugar that has fallen from cookies, and carmalized on it's surface doesn't stick in the least. This is a great product.

For roasts, I use a roasting pan. I like to make my own gravy, and I don't see how a silicone liner would help the process.

For pizza, I use an air core pizza pan that is riddled with holes to ensure a crisp crust by allowing moisture to escape rather than turning the bottom of the pie into mush. The same holds true for reheating a pizza. To put a silicone pad between a pizza and the heat source is inviting pizza disaster.

I suspect the bad review was due to a combination of operator error and misunderstanding of cooking concepts, rather than a defective product.

These things rock
The previous reviewer seemed to have mistaken a baking mat - replaces parchment paper or grease on a baking sheet - with a baking sheet. What it does is provide a surface to which almost no baked products adhere. Why you'd do a roast or pizza on top of it is beyond me. I've used it for cookies, various candied desserts, and a number of things where you'd otherwise have to line or grease the baking pan. In each case it performed superbly. It's also incredibly easy to clean (unless, apparently, you do something ridiculous like puncture it).

DON'T BUY THIS RACK IF YOU WANT STAINLESS STEEL!
Unfortunately, I missed the reviewer who correctly stated that this is NOT A STAINLESS STEEL rack.

It is merely a plain, chrome-plated rack, like virtually any other rack.

It's bad enough that it came and wasn't as described, but the fact that the description hasn't been updated since last June (18 months) to help buyers avoid dissapointment is just poor service.

NOT stainless steel
I've been looking for stainless steel cooling racks and when I found it here I ordered 3. When they arrived, I noticed the surface flaking. Which indicates these are chrome or nickel plated. These are NOT stainless steel as advertised.

Update: One of the reviewer states that the term "stainless steel" means "machine washable". Stainless steel is steel with a percentage of Chromium and another element which makes them resistant to rust. If you've heard the term 18/10 stainless those are the percentage of material that makes them a certain grade of stainless steel. I still have the racks because i can't seem to find stainless steel racks. The search goes on.

Best cooling racks I ever bought
Money wisely spent. I bought two of these substantial, sturdy racks and use them nearly every day to cool cookies, muffins, bread loaves, buns, cakes, waffles, pancakes, etc. The lines are close enough together that cookies don't bend or fall through. These racks also work in the bottom of my large roasting pan, to keep meats off the bottom of the pan. no more scrubbing by hand and no more rusty cooling racks. Buy two, so you have one available while the other is in the dishwasher. You'll love 'em.

Not impressed
This sifter is so small. I bake a lot of cakes and need to sift
confectioners sugar into my bowl. This does not hold a box of sugar. Also, if you put too much sugar in it, it jams. It can get very tiring on the hand.

Plastic...
This can be a good sifter if only Kaiser does not use plastic for the movable parts... alas, mine can be jammed easily if I fill the cup to half its height and the reason is because the plastic "stick" that links the squeezing handle and the rotary can be bent pretty easily.

I would say that if you only want to sift a small amount of confectioners' sugar onto pastries, then this sifter is fine. However, I personally would not recommend this sifter over any others I have used. (i.e., get something else...)

Easy to Use
This is the easiest flour sifter I have ever used. Becuase of the way that it is put together, my hands/arms to do not get worn out as quickly as they do when using other flour sifters. I really enjoy this product!

Too much work, didn't last long
The Amco sifter broke during the second time I was using it and the first time I used it it took a long time and the handle kept sticking. Also my hand, wrist and arm were hurting so bad from all the work it took just to get four cups sifted. It also leaks flour where the handle is at the bottom.

poor quality for the companies reputation
This sifter broke a month after I got it. It seems sturdy but it actually requires carefull handling. The sifting is somewhat slow but good (excercise!!!).

I love it!
This is just like the one that my grandmother owned, but the handle is easier to move!

it's great but you need to buy new one soon
love it and once you used the stone you never want to use other one when you bake a pizza. However it doesn't last long. I bake a pizza at least once per month maybe twice per month. after using the stone for 3-4month it will break...I had to buy three time. No matter how careful, it doesn't work. If you want to bake a perfect pizza, buy this! but if you don't want to spend $20 for buy new one every 5-6 month, don't buy this

Good for your money
I really liked the cutting pan, but I didn't like the pizza cutter that it came with. Mine broke 3 times after I used it.

Non-Stick Rolling Pin
    Amazon base price: $9.99
    Average review score:

    VERY Bad Design
First of all, bread, pie, and cookie dough stuck to this rolling pin just like it did to a wooden one. I had to oil it and flour it to prevent sticking. And as the other reviewer stated, I saw no difference.

But the worst thing was, it became unusable only after a few uses!
From the both ends of the pin, where white plastic and non-stick black area meet, rust started seeping out. I noticed this when it left an orange streak on my bread dough. At first I thought maybe I didn't wash it carefully enough and some dough was left in the crack (which would be a bad design too). But orange substance kept coming out even after a careful washing. That's when I figured it must be a rust coming out from inside the rolling pin!

I would consider this a health hazard. Had I not discarded the box, I would definitely send this back to the manufacturer.

    Did NOT work for me...
I purchased this item based on the one positive review that was already here on Amazon.[com] I was hoping to find something that would make rolling out the Christmas cookie dough less frustrating for me! In the past I have used my traditional wooden rolling pin and have had to coat it with flour over and over again. Well, there was NO difference between the performance of this "non-stick" rolling pin and my old wooden one!! I practically had this thing covered in flour and the dough was still sticking like crazy. The one positive thing about this is that it does seem easier to clean than the wooden one. I will definitely be returning this and sticking (no pun intended) to my old wooden rolling pin.

good for rolling, pain to clean
I bought this yesterday, after my wood rolling pin split down the middle. this worked pretty well..... dough didnt stick NEARLY as much as with my old wood rolling pin, but it didn't clean up very well. water got inside the pin, and now it looks like it is rusting inside. and there are NO instructions of any kind for special care, so I dont know if I did something wrong. but that's become a real pain.
