I was looking for a hobby and wanted to try cake decorating. This set got me started with everything I needed. I was able to make my first cake within days and am very happy I bought this. Great for a beginner like me.

This is a great cake decorating kit. The materials include all the things an amuture cake decorator would need to create world class masterpiece cakes. The booklet included in the kit gave such good tips for making the perfect cake for frosting, things like how to creat the uniform shape of the cake just like the pros do. The booklet even goes as far as to point out the specific consistances needed for the frosting decorations, something which would be very hard as a beginner to figure out on one's own. The kit also teaches the teckniques required for an assortment of different styles. Another good thing about the kit is that included in the box are frosting dye colors for the professional look to all cakes. The how to guide gives very explicet instructions on the use of such dyes, so there is very little room for error using them. I like how the pastry bags that are included are disposable, so it is less hassle during clean-up. The kit also comes with an abundant amount of these bags, so you don't have to constantly turn around and buy more. I tried this kit with high hope and expectations, and i was not dissapointed. I am not the greatest cook in the world, but the cake turned out beautifully! Beginner's luck, perhaps, but I doubt it. I felt like a true artist when making the cake for our Fourth of July party, and I got rave reviews myself!

I've been wanting one of these for a while, and I finally gave in to myself and bought one. It's great! I add a dash of sugar free vanilla syrup to the canister, and I have a great tasting spray of whipped cream whenever I want it! So much better than the chemical-laden canned version available at the grocery store, and it stays fresh and ready to use for as long as your cream's expiration date.

I bought the pint size because I didn't want to waste the N2O chargers. It's one charge per refill, so as soon as you open the canister to refill the cream, you need to charge again. That means the half-pint canisters go through chargers twice as fast as the pint. and the cream's been fine for weeks at a time, as long as I buy the freshest heavy cream.

It also look cool to pull out this brushed aluminum canister and spray on top of a dessert or hot drink, just like the professionals. I highly recommend this whipper, and I haven't even tried any fancy recipes yet!

I love this product! I use it all the time.

Best parts:
A- I know it's fresh, and hasn't been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long already.
B- I know what's in it (i.e. no sugar).
C- I can flavor it any way I like.
D- It's way cheaper than buying it pre-whipped.
E- I don't have to get the electric mixer dirty.

The only part that I'm not crazy about is cleaning it... but a good bottle brush and some hot soapy water take care of it nicely.

You'll love this one. With many spatulas, your hand gets tired from holding the handle. This one is very comfortable and you can ice a large cake!

An awesome Icing spatula. Its hard to notice but the blade is actually tapered so the tip flexes more than the base. It also cuts butter really nice and flat, and it will scrape the sides of a bowl flat too. I dont know what that other guy was talking about. You don't want a stiff icing spatula, it should flex have the feel of using a fine brush. This is an icing spatula not a putty knife! I got the black one and its just looks great with all my other stuff. Also dont buy the other ones, this is the one that will do everything the others wont.

If you make cakes or other baked goods this is the tool you must have. The angle allows one to frost a cake very easily. You have a very professional looking cake when done frosting. It is a very attractive tool also ( mine is white) and well made. To some at [a moderate price] may seem expensive, but it will be in your kitchen for many years to come.

I just recieved my Kitchenaid scraper and was immediately impressed by its fit and finish -- it's the type of quality you expect from Kitchenaid. This is a solid, no nonsense kitchen tool -- the blade is blunt, thick, and mirror polished; the handle is comfortable and easy to hang on to if your hands are wet. Most importantly, it is excellent at scraping up errant bits of garlic (or whatever else you've chopped up) on the cutting board and depositing them into the waiting pan -- so much better than using an expensive chef's knife for this task and ruining the edge.

I bought this so when I chop small items I can pick them up in one fell swoop. It does just that. I find it a handy gadget to have around. I haven't used it for the purpose for which it was made, dough, but I'm sure it would do just fine. It appears well made and I am not sorry I bought it.

This KitchenAid Scraper is superb! It cuts through even the thickest dough like butter. It is very well made and sturdy, the handle is large and the blade is also a ruler. This scraper can also chop and is great for lifting up what you chop. It is also very easy to clean! Highly recommended!
