I recently purchased the Tail Gator set and I never imagined a BBQ set could be so well made. The handles are real solid wood and the blades are stainless and clean up in a second. A friend of mine bought an imported set and they could not hold a candle to mine. The blades were flimsy and it had a cheap feel. My Tailgator set weighs almost twice what the import does. Overall I rate this set tops. The nylon case is also great because I can store all the utensils together and stuff them in a drawer. The nylon is real heavy as well. I think this set will make a great gift.

This set of bbq tools is great. They are convieniant to use at home or take with you for picnics. I like the quality and the handy carrying pack that is included. I would recommend this as gift for anyone who enjoys to bbq.

This is a fun, handy gadget! No more messy pulling away of the foil with the indelicate tip of the corkscrew. Now, with flair, the foil can be quickly and deftly removed.

Many of my wine drinking guests and companions have laughed at this clever tool but after a few tries of their own, they were convinced. It is a clean, easy way to cut the foil and get at the cork. I would recommend this! Enjoy!

This is probably the last wine implement a person buys (after a cork screw, a bottle chiller, tasting glasses, etc); but the foil cutter really enhances the drinking of wine two ways.

To get at the cork, the foil must be addressed first. Various options include using a knife, picking at it with ones fingers, grabbing and pulling it off all together, or even rudely piercing the foil with the cork screw and rending the foil open as the cork is extracted. All of these options require some slight struggling, which is quite unbecoming when you're just about to sophisticatedly sip some wine.

Instead you could place the foil cutter at the bottle's top, squeeze it lightly to engage its four small cutting wheels (not sharp to the hand) against the foil, and rotate the bottle. Presto - the top foil cap pops off exposing the cork while the rest of the foil remains around the bottle's neck. Thus the cutter makes the removal of foil relatively effortless and leaves the bottle more presentable than other methods.

Why 4 stars? No one really "needs" this, but I loath to open bottles any other way now. This makes a great gift for anyone that enjoys wine.

It looks like it would be a good buy. But it really wasn't for me. I purchased this a few months ago when I began decorating cakes. The only thing good I can say about the set is the book was very helpful and easy to follow. The food coloring, while professional coloring, was very hard to use (no dropper), measure (no dropper) and horribly stained everything it came in contact with. It is not for beginners! And while you do get a good assortment of tips - you may find that you do not use half of them. I found I could pick out tips at my local Five and Dime Store for less than a dollar. And if you are considering getting this as a gift for a cake decorating enthusiast, chances are they already have all the tips they would have used from this set.

I have two daughters who are interested in decorating cakes. This is priced right for the beginner to get all she or he needs to get started. I learned how to decorate cakes 18 years ago and still use my original tips. They must last forever! This is a wide selection of tips that will allow you to make many designs, practically any that you can think of!

Sturdy & strong enoughy to break down any spud. Attractive in that minimalistic brushed steel way to appeal to your sense of taste. On the flip side, 5 inches wide at its base- so this masher requires a big bowl. And last but not least, you should know that this masher is heavy enough to double as a weapon

Good torch for creme brulee. Easy to light and use. Recommend highly.

This is the third gravy separator I've owned. The first two were made out of plastic and I doubt that I got to use them more than 10 times before they cracked. I gave up on replacing them, since they were made out of plastic that could not stand the thermal shock, until I found this one. This one is made out of laboratory glass and has survived over a year of frequent use in my kitchen.
The only gripe I have is that the spout is not profiled very well, and it's more or less impossible to pour out of it without spilling some of the liquid.

This is just what we have been looking for to cook the fresh Tuna steaks and Mahai mahai we caught off Hatteras NC. We have a porcelian cooker with holes in it but when you turn the fish over, it strips the outside off. This will be just the thing!

This is the only wine opener we use now. It is fun and easy. However, if you don't store the wine correctly and the cork is dry, you might get a little bit of cork in the bottle.

I bought this instead of a full-size mandoline. I really liked how easy it was to use (mind your fingers when the vegetable or fruit gets "short") and clean. It did great with most of the fruits and vegetables I tried. It was very easy to change the thickness of the slices (just a turn of the knob). I was thrilled with the paper-thin vegetable chips it made :) It did not do well with the citrus fruits (Limes and Tangerines) which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
