all-clad
Nope, I don't have these but I'd buy them in a second if there was a 1/3 cup. Please make one.

What's Missing?
First of all, I do not own this All-Clad scoop set, but I am in the market to buy. So why am I writing this "review?" In the hopes that All-Clad will take note and include a 1/3 cup in this scoop set (it's such a common measurement, I was amazed it is not included). That's why I gave it a "rating" of 3 stars (otherwise, I'm sure it would have deserved 5).
Secondly, if it is added to this set, I would definitely buy it. I own many All-Clad products, and they are without a doubt the best kitchen products I've ever owned!

Nice, but I wish it had a 1/8 & 1/3 cup spoons too.
Large measuring spoons are really nice for the baker in your family. Need to add another cup of flour, just dip the large spoon into the bag and away you go.

The finish on these spoons is top notch. Fits right in with everything else All-clad makes.

My only complaint is that I'd like a larger set of these spoons, The 1/8 cup and a 1/3 cup sizes would be really handy. Of course if you don't have a set of measuring cups, get those first. The cups will sit on the counter with their flat bottoms, unlike the spoons which tip over.

Mess Maker
The parts do not lock in and flour is flying all around. It is wet and when you try to put it back together, the flour keeps you from doing so. The flour jams the "turning gear" and threatens to break the machine. You cannot clean it as there are 100 tiny, tiny crevices which make cleaning impossible.

I sent it back and for 8 months have tried to get a refund. I still do not have one although I complied with all requests, including the receipt from UPS.

The Good, the bad and the ugly
Actually I've used it often and the pasta was fantastic. However, clean up is not fun. The most disappointing thing tho is that if you need to make two batches... you need to start early. The machine makes one batch without a problem but the motor overheats shortly into the second batch and you have to let it sit for quite some time before it's useable again. Very frustrating if you have 3 or 4 or more to feed.

Great machine, terrible service
I bought mine over a year ago and used it a couple of dozen times. The machine does make great pasta and is relatively easy to use. Unfortunately, the face plate cracked the last time I used it rendering the machine unusable. I tried to buy a replacement from Ronco for 3 months without success. Ronco's customer service is non-existent. You can't get through on their 800 number and they do not reply to e-mails sent to their customer service department. They also do not have a facility on their website to place orders for parts. I ultimately did get through to their parts order department by phone, placed the order but never received a thing! I will NEVER buy a Ronco product again!

Forget the Rabbit, buy Le Creuset
I bought a plain rabbit a couple of years ago, and though i liked it, it did, at times, take a lot of strength to get a cork out. Then it broke in the sense that it would pull the cork, but not take the cork out of the corkscrew afterward. So I went shopping for a new rabbit, and read a featured review quoting bad experience (not unlike mine) and recommending the le Creuset "screwpull". Though it cost more, I did buy the Le Creuset, and love it. It is way easier to pull any cork than the Rabbit ever was!

Get the same thing for $10.00
This is a very cool product, but there are a million knock-offs out there these days, and you can get them for as little as $10.00! They are almost totally identical, they look just as cool, they work just as well, and the only thing that the knock-offs don't generally have is the fancy wooden box. Cost Plus World Market sells one for $20, and Linen N Things sells one for $9.99. Some companies just don't get the idea of appropriate pricing.

Now...a pleasure to open a bottle of wine!
I purchased the "Rabbit" for my husband this Christmas. We used to uncork wine with a typical "waiter corkscrew". We are not waiters, and would inevitably spill wine, break corks, and feel like idiots. It took a few bottles of practice to feel like a pro using the Metrokane rabbit. It's really a cool system. I've watched my husband open a bottle of wine in 10 seconds flat. My advice? Be patient. Learn the machine, and after a few tries, you'll be uncorking effortlessly!

Not designed well
I love all my All Clad pots and pans, however, when I bought these from Amazon.com, I was very unhappy with their function. Poorly designed. Hard to pick up items. Very nice to look at, but cheaper ones are better. Save your money.

Better than the cheap store tongs
I like these tongs, but they were pricey. About 5 times the price of the local cheap store stuff. I know, I know, I'll never have to buy another one...but honestly how often do you wear out something like this. I love the heft and the finish, high quality all around, I don't like the locking mechanism, it's always locked when I don't want it to be. Great for worrying the cat though. All in all, I'm happy with them, just think this item is a tad overpriced.

A cooking must-have
This is the perfect tool for moving and turning over items (such as meats) because you get better grip and leverage than you would using a spatula. I also use it for manipulating items in large bowls when I'm marinating, coating, etc. The "locking" feature helps save space when storing in my drawer. The only drawback I've found with the relatively "flat" ends of this tong is that with some items, especially slippery things like raw chicken thighs, it's hard to get a good grip. So I wish they would also come out with a version which has more rounded ends for better grip capability.

    Ouch, my Hands Hurt!
I received this set as a wedding gift, and now 2 weeks later I seriously regret not returning it. The metal handles are extremely uncomfortable to hold, and the plastic spoon part is too flexible/pliable/bendable to get even the simplest mixing job done. And the longer you try to mix, the greater the pain in your hand from grasping the cold, harsh handle. I do not recommend this product to anyone, unless you like to wear gloves all the time or something strange like that.

    Must have for any kitchen!
I bought this item in a Target store a few weeks ago. I love it! The stainless steel canister is large enough to add more utensils to, and the utensils are great! They are very sturdy, and work great! This is a great starter kit for anyone venturing out on their own that needs great utensils!

      Best Bang for your buck!
I was searching for a set of measuring cups that were at a great price! I have just found the right mix. These cups won't melt in the dishwasher nor will they discolor when using a substance that tends to stain. Go for it, you have nothing to lose.

      Call me crazy...
But I don't like the scoopers with the fancy slidy thing that this one has. I have one, as well as several other ice cream scoops without - and this is my least favorite to use. The slider makes the scoop much messier and harder to clean, and it really doesn't work that good. The handle on this scoop is ok, but other scoops are much better designed and comfortable to hold on to. Overall, it isn't a bad scoop - it still scoops ice cream.. but there are much better choices out there. I recommend the KitchenAid ice cream scoop!

good for udon and ravioli, not so great for angelhair
When I first got these tongs, I was deeply disappointed - the tongs are clearly just stamped out of a sheet of steel and then bent in half, and they look pretty cheap. Then, I tried them to fish some potstickers out of boiling water, and sorta changed my mind.

The tongs look cheap, but work really well for dumplings and other big floating stuff, and for thick pasta. Thin pasta, however, tends to fall through the prongs (which touch at their tips, not interlace). If you hold the tongs more firmly so small stuff doesn't fall through, it gets crushed - the ends are slightly concave, but too shallow to really make a pouch.

This would be perfect if the prongs were square-ended, and the wide solid part of the ends was more deeply concave. As it is, it depends on what you're cooking.

      Disappointment
Have been wanting to get the pasta roller attachment and ran accross this plastic pasta maker at the store. Was really excited since it was in my price range. Took it home and tried to use it. My KitchenAid mixer starting smoking and so I let it rest for the hour. Upon removing the attachment I found oil and black rubber or grease was all over the inside of the attachment. (on the coil thing that pushes the dough through) Next time I wanted to use my mixer to beat egg whites it had no power. I sure hope this inexpensive attachment didn't ruin my wonderful mixer. Highly disappointed with KitchenAid on this attachment.

      A sticky situation
I bought this product before the pasta roller was available. I find it very hard to keep the pasta strands from sticking together as they come through the grid plate. I would definately pay a little more and go with the pasta roller.

      Satisfactory but not great
I just started using the pasta plastic dies with the food grinder attachment on my KitchenAid artisan. I must say that it is easy to extrude the pasta dough thru the plates contrary to what others here will have you believe. My first batch of fettucini came out okay but the noodles got stuck together. It was my fault for not resting the dough 15 minutes since I ran it thru the extruder right away after kneading. Cleanup is fairly easy. I have only tried the basic egg noodle/pasta recipe. I will experiment with samolina flour and see what happens with that dough.

This is definitely a lot easier than the manual pasta roller/cutter combination.
