PASTA MAKER
I CAN'T SAY THAT I'M COMPLETLEY SASTIFIED WITH THE PRODUCT.
THE KITCHENAID FELT EXTREMELY WARM AFTER MAKING A 1/2 BATCH OF
PASTA, I THOUGHT THE MOTOR MIGHT FIZZLE OUT IF THE WHOLE BATCH WAS MADE AT ONCE! WITH THE TIME/PREP/CLEAN UP INVOLVED, BUY THE NOODLES IN THE STORE!

It is all in the Dough!
I found the Kithchen Aid Pasta Maker to work fairly well. It is very mportant however to follow the pasta recipe that comes with the attachment. If the dough is too sticky or too dry it may not extrude as well. Overall, I am very pleased with the pasta maker's performance. Clean-up was a breeze, just a warm water rinse ans a little detail picking with the included cleaning tool.

Great attatchment
I am now looking to buy this again as I did have one before. In response to some of the bad reviews I do have some suggestions I have found work well in working out some of the difficulties. It helps alot if you dip the pasta plates first in italian dressing or even just warm water in order for the pasta not to stick as it extrudes. I did buy a one piece pasta machine that does it all for you but found it took far to long and many of the platic parts were far to cheaply made and began breaking off. This attatchment is very durable and can withstand years of very regular use. The love of my life being a very large Italian man loves pasta alot and it can get mighty pricey to buy fresh pastas in the store and dry noodles can never compare to the taste, variety, and vitamin content of fresh pasta. As far as storing them for later use I often spray my food dehydrator with cooking spray and dehydrate my own for later use. There are a variety of cookbooks on the market for pasta recipes and most do have recipes that work better than the ones that came with the product. On a last note- a tart press works wonderfully for making homemade ravioli and doesn't burst so easy from over filling like the traditional ravioli press does.

This is not an oyster knife.
It is preposterous that they would even call this thing an oyster knife. This piece of garbage was literally destroyed after opening one raw oyster. I could see that was going to happen before I even tried it. It's just a flimsy thin piece of sheet metal. Anyone who has shucked raw oysters knows how much torque it takes and how rigid the blade needs to be. Apparently these guys don't know anything about that. Shame on "OXO/Good Grips" for calling this thing an oyster knife.

wimpy wimpy wimpy
the first time this oyster knife was used it bent itself silly within 6 oysters, and it was in the hands of a 4 star chef who knew what they were doing.
dont waste your time and money...

I think this knife is GREAT, but 3 stars just in case.
I've used this knife for a couple of years now with GREAT success. I use it on little old Willapas and big ol' Pacifics. I probably only buy a few dozen oysters a year so this is not by any means a professional's point of view but I have yet to bend the blade which is a whole heckuva lot more than I can say about the other two knifes I used before buying this one. Here's why I think you will be happy with this knife: 1) Large, soft, comfortable handle fills the palm and gives Excellent leverage; 2) Short, stout stainless steel blade is non-threatening (nicely rounded end) and stays clean. I will give this knife only three stars because it is possible that the complaints below are valid because often objects that are 'Made In China' have quality deficiencies. Also, I have seen some OXO brand oyster shuckers in the supermarket recently that are made with a very thing, spring-like blade which is a definite No No and may explain why the reviews below are so negative. Only one specification should be used for such a product. The variance tells me that OXO needs to get its act together. I gotta say, though, my knife is a truly excellent tool that I'm sorry I didn't own sooner.

Pizza Stone & Rack
    Amazon base price: $11.99

    Not durable!!
I bought this stone and used it a total of 3 times before it cracked in half! It made homemade pizza & bread well, with a nice, crispy crust. However, it didn't handle frozen pizza. I preheated the stone, as instructed, and cooked the pizza. It took longer than normal, and the cheese stuck to the stone. While trying to get the pizza unstuck from the stone, it cracked in half! I'm *very* disappointed in this stone & will be getting one from Pampered Chef instead!

    not a good investment
I have heard that this particular stoneware is not very durable. I recieved a similar stoneware pizza pan from pampered chef, there is no preheating required, and we have had it for over a year with great results. The only special requirement is to not use soap when cleaning it, as stoneware absorbs soap and releases it when heated. I suggest the stoneware from pampered chef, a little more expensive, but worth the investment.

    Not worth the money
I just tried this pizza stone, it does not do what is promised. I have baked many pizzas in my oven and using this stone did not make a bit of difference in the quality or texture of the crust. I feel that it was a waste of money.

    Cracked after two uses
Not heat resistant - this is just to substantiate the other reviews - item cracked after second use.

    Not dishwasher safe
Item cracked after first washing, useless after second washing. I'm going to try and find a glass one.

    Could be more heat resistant
Although I thought this product worked well in removing excess fat, it now has several long cracks in it and will have to be replaced in the very near future. This is really annoying since I've only had it for a couple of months. I plan on buying a [upgraded]glass separator.

    A Mess!
I was so excited to make my own ravioli, but it was all a fiasco.

    When It's Good, It's Good, But ...
I've used this about 6-8 times, and of those, had one trouble-free batch. The other times the dough got snagged by a regulating piece in the middle, or the filling was inconsistent or spilled over (too much, too little). Being left-handed also difficult to work with comfortably.

A Wonderful Treat For Serious Users
This attachment is a wonderful investment for serious users of their imperia pasta machine. With a bad recipe and little patience, you will have filling everywhere and you might just be tempted to throw this attachment into the garbage!! If however, you have a good recipe and the patience to try out different settings, you will learn how to easily use this attachment, and get delicious ravioli!!

Practice does make perfect. Once you get the hang of this.....you'll love it!!

    Nice product, bad price
I got this set a year or two ago on sale at Home Depot for a clearance price of $5. Mostly, I use the tongs because they do the work of tongs and spatula thanks to the unique mini spatula shapes. The big spatula is fine, and the fork, but the tongs are most useful, so I usually skip the other two. It's a great value at a $5 price, but there's no way I'd pay $35, especially since I use mostly one tool. If I paid that much, I'd want some extras like basting brushes or a grill rack for vegetables or fish. Shop around.

Not what I expected, or worth the price
While Weber is a trustworthy name in grilling, I would definitely not recommend this tool set. The set appears to be very cheaply made - the handles are entirely wood, unsupported by any stainless steel in the actual handle. The stainless steel working end did not appear to be heavy duty, and where it connects to the wooden handle will be very difficult to clean. There definitely are significantly better tools on the market for a much better price. I gave this as a gift to my husband and was very dissapointed in the quality.

    Poor Quality
Very, very disappointing product. It's no stick, but only for the first use. After that the no stick surface begins to peel off. It was even worse after cleaning off the stuff that stuck to it! Overall not worth the money, I'm sure there are other comparable products that work much better.

    Looks great works poorly
I am sorely disappointed with this. I have owned several other cookie presses that cost about half and was much happier with them. I don't recommend this press.

GOOD: The case is great and the variety of plates is great.

BAD: This press seems to have trouble with stiff dough. The rear cap slips as pressure is applied to press the cookie out. This makes the cookies uneven.

Everything for the Kitchen 94-pc. Set - Cobalt Blue

      AWFUL!
This set is for the birds! I have done away with using the pots and pans within the first 2 months of buying this! This sounded like a good deal, but the saying is true - 'if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is'

      DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. The pots in this set are extremely inferior. I've only had the set for a couple of months and I've already thrown the pots out. The non stick surface started to bubble and stripped off. It even came off in my food, I had to throw it out. I'm so sorry i bought this. The knives are pretty sturdy, the cooking utensils don't really stand up to heat well. Not a very good choice.

      Good for Some
If you want something that lasts, look elsewhere, you won't find it here -- the non-stick coating doesn't last long, the paint chips off, bottoms of the pots turn black, and so on. In other words, if you're looking for quality products, you have to be prepared to spend more than this and spend more time finding what you want.

However, this is a good set to get if you're on a tight budget, and an absolutely ideal set for first apartments. My husband and I bought this for our first apartment and it's gotten us through the past two years. Now we're moving and most of what's left of the set isn't worth taking with us, so we'll be tossing it. Which is okay by us - less to pack!

This time, though, we will buy things that are more likely to last. Again - not a bad deal for those just starting out and/or those on a tight budget. But you do get what you pay for.

Fell Apart the First Time I Used It
Used my new brush to apply butter on French bread for making garlic bread. It fell apart on the first use. I should have taken my eight dollars and put it down the drain myself, I would have saved on shipping.

Bristles fell out first one by one, then all at once
Pastry brushes never seem to last long. I thought that by spending a bit more I would get more use out of this one. At first the bristles fell out one by one, and the second or third time I washed it, the entire head of bristles popped out. If you are looking for a brush that does not lose bristles, I have never found a traditional one that keeps its bristles, but IKEA makes a strange looking pastry brush which has no bristles and therefore cannot lose them, and that's what I have now.

      Ugh, bristles!
If the bristles didn't fall out during the first few uses, this MIGHT be a good pastry brush! Save your money and go for something more durable.
