The spoon is a pretty good value. It's a nice shape and seems to be very sturdy. Keep in mind that the spoon is quite large. It reminds me a little of an oar for a kiddie rowboat. :-) It probably isn't the best tool for working with small batches, but it's a good tool for working with big batches.

This is what wooden spoons are designed to do: stir, scrape, and occasionally ladle. Finally, a spoon that can scrape into those squared bottoms of your stockpot! A must for spaghetti sauce, beans, etc.

The maple wood holds up well, very little fuzzing and no cracking after a year of use. If you can't find this or one like it on Amazon, find it in a retail store like I did.

I've purchased a Kitchenaid blender and food processor this year and since then stocked my kitchen with KA utensils since i equate the Kitchenaid name with high quality. Unfortunately this item like so many other Chinese-made pieces where companies slap their name onto it doesnt stand up. I noticed it was staining where the silicon head met the plastic handle and then a few weeks later a tear developed and then it was gone. This item was 2 weeks old and didnt serve any more strenuous duty than mixing batter or stirring a sauce. I may try the French Made Le Creuset Spatulas next. Ive learned that regardless of the name check on the quality and where it is manufactured.

This is a great, sturdy but flexible spatula. It is so versatile that you'll grab it first before any other!! I use it when browning ground beef in a skillet to removing cake batter from the mixer bowl! I can't say enough about this fantastic spatula. It is perfect!!!

I'm really grateful for this item. It is so much heavier and easier to use than other spatulas, plus it's study workmanship really holds up under heavy working conditions. Goes through the dishwasher like a breeze. Think I need a few more!

Boy, do I love these measuring cups! I had the Tupperware ones and just hated them. They stained and now most of them are in the trash. These Kitchenaid ones are so very nice, easy to use, and just look great.

These are easy to grab, slip off the ring and use. One thing I didn't like - one of the spoons got a white ring in it that won't come off. It may be from auto dishwasher detergent. It's no big deal, though.

These little guys are colorful, with good design and easily read markings: a cheerful addition to the various joys of cooking. (In fact, Kitchen Aid has a rather suave line of such paraphrenalia that certainly bears exploration.)
Should the day ever come when these measuring spoons are eaten up by some rogue ferret, I will go straight back to Amazon.com and order another set.

I was attracted to their angular design but was disappointed by their poor finish. The brand name and size is stamped onto each spoon and the stamping shows clear to the other side in a very uneven and unintended way. The polishing, too, is inferior with dark and light patches. Other measuring spoons, also made in China, are so well made and finished that I can give this item only 2 stars for its (possibly) elegant design.
I recommend the Oxo measuring spoon set for the lovely combination of rubber and stainless-steel or the Endurance Spice Spoons made by RSVP if you are attracted to the rectilinear look.

These are nice and sturdy so they don't bend. The shape fits in most spice bottles and tins. I separated them because they're a little heavy. The only thing I don't like about them is that the square handles dig into your hands. They should have rounded the handles.

I love not only the aesthetic design, but the engineering of these spoons. The end of the handle bends downward, leveling the instrument so that the spoon doesn't tip over and spill any of its contents while on the countertop. The main reason I bought the set was to have the stable 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 tsp and pinch measurements consistent with an entire set. I do wish the larger sizes fit into spice bottles, but frankly I don't find the round spoons to do a very good job of that, either. Ovoids and oblongs are the only shapes that I find do a good job inside spice bottles. I have all shapes because they do differnt jobs, but the level engineering of these is a lifesaver. To the customer to received a thin set in which the stamp shows through, I'd send it back; I think you got a lemon. I've had mine several years, so perhaps they're made more cheaply now, but mine are great. If I had my dream set of 15, however, it would include the following measurements by ONE manufacturer, color-coded for ease of recognition, they would come in a round set, an ovoid set, and an oblong or pyramid set, and I'd get all 3 sets:

The Container Store sells a set listing drop, pinch, smidge, and hint, which I guess are the last 4 I listed, but I don't know that. I ended up with a set saying "tad, pinch, smidge and hint," but at least one of them is bigger than 1/4 tsp.

I bought the 60 piece set in December 2002 and just love it. I loved them so much I bought an additional 20 piece set in January. The look of them is very modern and have had no problem with rusting. In the other reviews people have complained about rusting but I have not experienced this problem. To clean I just use our anciet dishwasher and use a Baking Soda detergent. I have not used any other detergent so I do not know if those would rust them but I know the baking soda detergent does not. My only negative I have about them is they are a little to heavy for young children to use. My 3 year has difficulties using them but my 5 year has no problems. So if buying for someone w/ young children this would not make a good set to buy them. I would have given this flatware a 5 but since it's hard for young children to use I deducted a point. Great Flatware for college kids, newly weds, and families w/ older children.

I purchased two sets of this flatware. Soon after they came out with a set including serving pieces. You cannot purchase them seperately. I contacted the manufacturer and they were very helpful. I recieved wonderful guest service from Gourmet Settings.

This silverware is great, you don't have to worry about bending these spoons scooping icecream. They are classy enough to use for a formal dinner but plain enough to use everyday. I love them.

This tool works well, but don't think it is dishwasher safe! One must remove the handle before putting it in the dishwasher, but I have never been able to get the wooden handle out of the spoon. There are other silicone spatula/spoons that have dishwasher-safe handles and I'd recommend those instead.

I got this and another mini for Christmas and it is a great tool except for the color that I got...HOT PINK? SHWING!!!...still a great piece of equipment! I use it every day. Buy it Now!

Nothing quite like a melted spatula you left in chocolate or caramel a bit too long. This one won't melt - it's very sturdy but be warned "large" means LARGE. You can't stick it into a can of evaporated milk or tomato paste very well to scrape out the sides. I'd recommend buying both small and large - trust me you'll love both.
