They were perfect until they rusted.
Perfect starter setThe knife set comes with a sharpener, so you can sharpen the flat blade knives. I would recommend hand washing and drying the knives since one of ours has rust spots from when water sat on the blade overnight.
The plastic utensils come with every type you can imagine one would need. I only had to buy a wooden spoon.
We had a chef friend cook for us and he thought the knives were fine!
I was afraid at first.I also consulted with my friend who is a chef to get his advice and the 2 things that he said are most important are that they are high carbon steel and full tang (which means the metal goes all the way thru the handle). He also ordered a set and is now happy he did.
All in all, I got a great deal and don't understand what the other reviews are complaining about. I would recommend them (especially if they go back to $20). I give it 5 stars out of 5 because they've simply exceeded my expectations.

Average Set (3.5 stars)The pots and pans are nicely sized and they are anodized aluminum with a nonstick coating, which is helpful. Makes cooking and cleaning up afterwards quick and easy. The handles are nice and stay pretty cool - good for me, since I tend to burn myself a lot in the kitchen! Just make sure you only use nonstick or nylon utensils with this set, the pans scrape and scratch VERY easily.
Another thing to be careful of with the pans - while the pans can go in the oven at over 700 degrees, the lids can't go in over 480 degrees!
While I think this is a decent set, there are many other sets out there with higher quality items in the same price range. If this one is on sale, it might be worth purchasing - but definitely shop around before committing!
What Are They Thinking?
No Caomplaints thus far
- When frozen, 2 sleeves chill glasses of beer and keep them chilled for hours
- Sleeves' 6 pockets contain special liquid that freezes solid
- Sleeves slip over standard-size glasses; each sleeve 5-1/4 inches high
- Flexible and virtually unbreakable
- Printed to resemble foamy glasses of beer

Packaging and hype ....The packaging and the hype were soooooooo cool that I thought that I would be able to down my favorite bubbly a ferw degrees cooler than the fridge. If there is actually any temp decrease using these things I sure didn't notice it ....
Better to leave these plastic chillers in the freezer and put the beer in for 5 minutes instead ..... then I notice a difference in the temp of the beer .....
Save you money .....
Define "Chill"I guess 12 degrees in 10 minutes is a "chill", but it hardly gets the beverage down to the 34-40 degrees which I look for in my frosty beverages. Also, I can buy ice for $.99 per bag and chill more than one soda while knowing the ice will frost the drink in about a half hour. The Vacu Vin didn't chill my soda any cooler than 60.0, even after fifteen minutes.
Having said that, I suspect that these would work well as insulators for already cold beverages since they are frozen as opposed to a room temperature foam rubber sleeve. However, they don't "chill" anything, unless 60 degrees falls within your definition of "cold".
FANTASTIC CHILLERS

Save your money. The only good thing I got out of it was the little pancake pour spout. It does make perfect pancakes. If they don't stick, that is.
The only thing my perfect pancake is good for now is scrambled eggs. If you want good pancakes that don't stick and burn, get a small farberwear frying pan. Costs less and NOTHING sticks to it.
The commercial for this goes *You flip, but they flop.* Sorry guys. But perfect pancake is a flop. :(
Save your moneySince I'm flip-impaired myself, I'll share my two tricks (free of charge!): 1) make smaller pancakes, or 2) carefully slide the half-cooked mega-pancake onto a plate and then 'cover' the plate with the upside-down pan and quickly flip the whole thing back upright, remove plate, viola! lovely pancakes. (Works for omlettes too!)

Potentially dangerous knife seti also found out the hard way that those rust spots aren't just on the surface, they eat through the blade, as i had one snap in half on me while slicing a potato two nights ago...not the handle, but the actual blade. had any of my fingers been in different positions, i wouldn't be able to type this review.
Cheap junk
Average set for the priceThe knives are a great item for the price.
The carousel is very convient to keep all the knives and utensils in one place.

Frailty! Thy name is Sassafras!
Love this pizza stone!I also reduce the heat on the oven by 25 degrees when cooking with the stone and cook it a little longer than my recipes call for - the crust turns out delicious every time! Also, the lip catches any spills of food or grease off the pizza - the only way to go. This is Sassafras stone #3 - I'll never give up on it!
Soft and crispy. PERFECT every time!

How do you rate something that is 5 weeks overdue
Rusts too easilyI figured it would be fine if I just used it to steam things then, and the second time I steamed something the entire bottom of the pan rusted, and my food and bamboo steamer came out smelling very funny.
If you are very careful with it, or don't cook much at all, it might be worth it, but otherwise I would invest in something a little less flimsy.

AWFUL!
DO NOT BUY
Good for SomeHowever, this is a good set to get if you're on a tight budget, and an absolutely ideal set for first apartments. My husband and I bought this for our first apartment and it's gotten us through the past two years. Now we're moving and most of what's left of the set isn't worth taking with us, so we'll be tossing it. Which is okay by us - less to pack!
This time, though, we will buy things that are more likely to last. Again - not a bad deal for those just starting out and/or those on a tight budget. But you do get what you pay for.
