I bought this pan a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love it!! Was a little concerned at first that the 6-quart size might be too large, but am finding that it's just perfect for doing all kinds of things. . . .Have made breaded, baked pork chops; roast sausage & peppers, garden vegetable frittata, bacon and eggs... Is terrific for all kinds of things. Like the rest of the Calphalon Commercial nonstick line, the pan is heavy, well made, cooks evenly, and cleans up easily. I have been replacing all my old cookware with Calphalon for the past three years now, and I've yet to buy a piece that I've been disappointed with. The commercial nonstick especially is fantastic, and well worth the extra $. You really do get what you pay for with the Calphalon pans, this one especially. (Price is great by the way too! Is much higher at other sites I checked.)

This pan is great. It heats evenly, clean up is a breeze and it's a beautiful pan! One of the main reasons I bought this pan was the fact that there is no long handle (like a saute pan). I have an older stove and my burners are a lot closer together than newer stove tops. I'm always having to make sure I keep the handle inside (on the stove top) in case my two year old decides to grab the handle to see whats for dinner. This pan prevents that from happening. Calphalon Commercial Nonstick pans are the best nonstick pans I have ever used. I checked around at many other web sites before buying this and this is the best price I have seen plus Amazon has free shipping! Can't beat that!

After using this pan for a couple of months, it is single-handedly the best piece of cookware i've ever bought. It is a good size (enough to make paella, risotto for a large number of people) and it is extremely easy to clean. Made in the USA, it's a great deal!

this is my first Le Creuset casserole. When I first received it, it was smaller than i was expecting. But after cooking with it couple times, I really fall in love with it! Now I always clean it after using, and have it on my stove top in the kitchen! it's so cute and fun!

The pumpkin casserole is my first piece of Le Creuset, and it is awesome. I find it's easier to keep my kitchen clean because I WANT to clean this casserole dish. It displays beautifully on my stove, saving me cabinet space, and it works better than any nonstick pan I've ever used. I am in love with this cookware, and plan to eventually replace almost every cooking item I own with Le Creuset. It is the most artful and functional cookware I've ever encountered. The only thing that might be a drawback for some is the heavy weight of it, but hey, it's good exercise, right? I think it is worth every penny.

This goes from oven to stove to table, just as they say. Everywhere but the microwave. Plus it looks as cute as Cinderella's pumpkin and adds a dash of magic to a meal.

One of the best pieces I've bought. I don't even need to buy a skillet as I use this for everything instead. This is the cheapest price I've seen.

Le Creuset has a reputation for creating high-end, high-quality products, and the buffet casserole certainly helps maintain that reputation. I purchased one as an early Christmas present for myself, and have been using it every day (sometimes several times a day) since I got it. So far, I've used it to scramble eggs, caramelize onions, bake a chicken, roast garlic, brown meats, make pancakes - you name it.

My favorite way to use it is in the oven. The lid fits so well there's almost no loss of moisture, which means I no longer need to use oven baking bags or foil in order to retain moisture in food being baked.

True to their advertising, cleanup is a breeze. There is no such thing as "burned on food" - A few minutes soaking in warm soapy water is all that's needed to make even the most stubborn food release from the dish.

I was so impressed with the performance and versatility of the buffet casserole that I bought several more, which I gave as Christmas presents.

For a small kitchen or a single or small family, this is one of those handy pieces you tend to keep on the stove right next to the tea kettle. Functions as a medium-large skillet, low stewpot, round roasting pan, and small-medium casserole. Heat a tortilla, fry sausage & potatoes, scramble eggs, grill a cheese sandwich, do a ham slice with pineapple, bake macaroni & cheese or green bean casserole, make chicken & rice or pork chops & kraut or pot roast & veggies, saute onions or mushrooms, fry salmon patties or crab cakes, scallop potatoes or cauliflower or oysters, stew tomatoes or apple slices, stir up Rice-a-Roni or a frozen stir-fry mix, roast a chicken or batch of veggies, bake cornbread or gingerbread or an upside-down cake! This brand absolutely cannot be beat for gently cooking anything on low to med heat (for high heat use Scanpan). A few minutes soaking and ANYTHING washes off in a snap. Limited on space? This baby replaces the need for LOTS of other pots & pans, and does so in grand style!

Throw away your nonstick cake pans, this pan is perfect for cakes, pies and well almost any use in oven or stove top. Like all Le Creuset it browns food beautifully and cleans easily. I'm actually using it more on the stove than in the oven. I love this pan.

The tatin recipe included is, as promised in the recipe pamphlet, wonderful. Try it and you'll see.

My first experiment, however, was a beef pot pie -- just browned the meat and onions in a bit of olive oil then added carrots and seasonings. A ready-made pie crust fits perfectly to line the pan, then a half-inch of stiff mashed potatoes with a little cheese sprinkled on top. The juices are sealed in and the crust browns beautifully at 350f.

Try it for a breakfast cassarole of pre-boiled potatoe slices, sauteed onions and peppers, grated swiss cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, and quartered sausage links baked in a seasoned egg/milk blend to hold it together. When you bake it slow and let the flavors develope, the result is a country breakfast fit for the hungriest crowd.

Any main dish or desert pie is equally at home in this great pan -- plus it brings all the wonderful attributes of Le Creuset to every recipe: Easy clean up, even heating, and lower-temp cooking.

I always used good quality non-stick pans (All-Clad and Steel-On) but over time the coating starts to flake off. In the department stores, I would notice Le Creuset but never considered it because of the price and also because I thought non-stick was better. I decided to buy this Anniversary Pan to try out Le Creuset and it's great. It is one of the more affordable Creuset pans and it's really well-made. I am using everyday for frying, baking, and broiling -- the finish looks brand-new. Now I see why they can offer a 100-year warranty for their products. Next time I need new pots and pans, I'll spend the extra money and buy this brand.

Simply put: I can see this piece lasting a century, in as great shape as when it was new. This was my first Le Creuset piece (the large frying pan being second), and I bought it while it was on sale. I thought it would be too small to be truly useful but affordable enough for an introduction to Le Creuset. This french oven is indestructible. The enameled finish isn't going anywhere, no matter how hard you scrub. Plus the sheer weight of these pieces causes the heat to evenly distribute and hold in heat. And while I was correct in forecasting that I'd rather have a larger french oven, I've at least found that it's the perfect size and medium for cooking white rice. I'd say performance rates a a 5 star, but I have to remove one star for the size and also for the color white. I picked white because I was looking for a subtlety that the other colors didn't offer, but I found that the brown stains that form on the bottom of the pan on occasion are that much more noticable. So you're either going to forget about removing them, or end up buffing away with the Ajax more often than if you chose any other color.

This pot is just wonderful!
My husband claims everytime I use Le Creuset the meals just come out perfect so, as you can imagine I'm using them everyday now. I am a "Happy Homemaker" and I take the job of creating tasty meals to heart even though I am only cooking for two (my husband and myself). If you love anyone get this pot for them, if you enjoy cooking get this pot for yourself! I also have the 5 1/2 French oven and the 2 3/4 oven as well and all of them are used daily... they can take on fried chicken or a delicate wine sauce and still look perfect when the job is done not to mention serving up the meal... Just beautiful sitting on the table! And clean up? FORGET ABOUT IT! Cleans like a dream come true, you won't believe until you do it yourself. Makes me want to cook right now... maybe I will.
For your sake don't waste time and money on the "cheap stuff" pay a decent price now and have it for life.

This is a fantastic pot. Heats very evenly and holds high temperatures for long periods of time. A breeze to wipe clean and looks fantastic from stove to table . you must towel dry when you wash. But the most fantastic piece of cooking equipment I have ever owned! Super important that you never drop or bump it too hard or the enamel will crack and it will be ruined. Baby it!!!
I recommend it even for the beginning cooks. You good foods will come out master pieces!
