We enjoy wok cooking several times a week and have gone through several "off the shelf" electric woks. Manufacturers had not yet produced a heavy-duty electric wok until now. The Circulon 14" wok is far superior to any similiar product we have found on the market - price included. The pan is heavy and retains heat exceptionally well. The controls are easy to use and offer the variety of heating temperatures needed for oriental cooking. Although non-stick surfaces have been available for years this pan is truly that. The ability to totally submerge the pan for cleaning is a definite plus and allows the user to hang the pan on a suspended cooking rack system. This wok with be the last one you will ever buy.

I have spent thousands of dollar's, On Meyers cookware everthing from KitchenAid, Anolon, Prestige, Faberware, & Circulan, just to name a few. Though Meyers does manufacture very high quality pots & pans and I would recommend them to anyone it's just sad that if you have any problem with them, under warranty, you have to go throught the chain of command, that never gets you anywhere, even if you want to speak with upper management about the rudeness of the customer service department. Their customer service department employees are always very rude and snotty and they act like they are doing you a favor to even talk to you about their products. Don't get me wrong they do make good cookware, probably the best, but you as the consumer are at the mercy of their customer service and their descision or your fait on wheather your life time warranty is honored or not.

It's a "2", making it a sturdier, heftier pan than a "Classic." I bought this "2" 12-Inch pan to replace my "Circulon Classic 11-Inch Nonstick Stir Fry Pan" bought in 2000 here at Amazon (= still available at Amazon) because of its slightly larger size.
I gave the 11-Inch Classic [in still perfect condition after all my use of more than 3 years] away to my college kid who wanted to buy one like Mom's stir-fry pan herself.
Just take good care of your pan, wood or plastic utensils only, and DO NOT overheat coated pans, and you'll be happy.

Of all the pans in my kitchen, this is the one I use the most. This pan is pretty heavy and is extremely durable, and nothing sticks to the surface, even crusted items that have been burned on the bottom of the pan. They didn't skimp with the handle like on some other pans -- its thickness makes it easy to lift a heavy load of food, and it seems like it can take a lot of abuse. Overall, I think the closest competitor to this pan is the stir-fry pan from Analon, but after holding both in my hands at the store, I chose this one due to the handle and the seemingly-better non stick surface.

This appears to be the exact pan that Martin Yan always uses on his PBS show ("Chinatowns") -- he almost never uses a wok, and when he does, it's the Circulon 2 wok (which I don't have, because who needs it with this 12" stir fry pan). Granted, I'm sure that Circulon sponsors his show, but it's still a good pan.

This pan is most useful as a wok replacement. Because it doesn't have a flat bottom, I can't use it for everything (e.g. omletts), but I also frequently use it in non-wok situations such as pasta sauces. At 12" it can fit a surprising amount of stir-fry, enough for 4-6 people if it's filled to the brim, but occasionally I do wish Circulon made a bigger stir-fry pan besides their wok. I also wish it came with a lid, but I own a 12" lid from another pan, so I don't need one.

After owning this pan for a year, I am so impressed with Circulon that now I always search for pans in the Circulon 2 lineup before considering anything else.

I bought this cookware set and love it. The nonstick coating works very well and is very easy to clean. They say that you can't use a Brillo pad to clean it or you will ruin the nonstick coating, so be careful. I use a scrubbing pad very gently on it and it seems to be fine. You don't need to use much elbow grease to get them clean, though. I have used all the items and they are all perfect for what they are designed for. However there is a definate need for a larger skillet. I went out and bought a deep 12 inch skillet and it really fills out the set. I haven't needed any other pans yet, but I think these will keep us covered pretty well. But you definately need the 12 inch skillet/stir fry pan.

PROS:
-Affordable
-Fits the needs for the everyday cook
-Very attractive design and look
-The lids keep the steam in the pot/pan very well
-Heat is very well distributed when cooking
-Doesn't burn items very easily

CONS:
-12 inch skillet is a much that is not included in the set
-Somewhat hard to keep the bottoms perfectly clean

All in all, this is a great set for the everyday cook. They are attractive, very functional, and affordable; the three things that you should look for in a cooking set.

This is one of my favorite pans. I love Circulon Classic and I own several of their products. I needed a larger saucepan so I looked at Circulon's offerings. When I spotted this pan, I knew it would be a winner. With its size and shape, it can function as a large saucepan AND a small stir-fry pan. The capacity of this pan will surprise you. The curved sides make stirring easy and thorough. The helper handle is also a great feature when you have to lift a full pot or pour food from it into a serving bowl. The handles on these pans are oven safe up to 350-degrees F.

It has one of Circulon's beautiful, high-dome stainless steel lids that fits so snugly that it holds in all the moisture just beautifully. The hard-anodized aluminum exterior distributes heat evenly and you can use a lower setting than you normally do. The non-stick interior prevents burning or sticking and it's a breeze to clean. Don't worry about those grooves. Although you can't put the pans in the dishwasher, they are so easy to clean that I don't mind handwashing them. It's an act of love for my precious Circulon. When I wash my Circulon pans, first I scrub the interior with a nylon scrubbing sponge, then I use a rounded dish scrubbing brush to gently clean out those grooves with a circular motion. You can use tougher scrubbing pads on the hard-anodized exterior. I've never had a sticking problem no matter what I cook in circulon.

So what's not to love? Get one! You'll love it.

I reach for this Chef's pan constantly--it is deep enough to handle stews, casseroles, and similar big jobs. It's also handy that it can go into the oven up to 350. The handles stay cool on the stove top, and I love the convenience of the "helper handle" feature. It is a breeze to keep clean. I was initially a bit worried about the grooves, thinking that it might be tricky to keep the pan surface clean, but I have never once been disappointed with its performance. This is definately a well-constructed pan that will hold a prominent spot on my stove for years to come.

i first bought circulon cookwear 15 years ago. i love the way the food cooks and how easily they clean up. i recently tried another brand of cookwear and it does'nt compare,(even though the price was similiar)i will stick with circulon from now on.

The very first time I used this stockpot, I made a chili. After browning the meat and adding the other ingredients, I neglected to turn the flame down so the chili could simmer. Any other pot I own would have formed a burned ring of food at the bottom by the time I returned 30 minutes later, but the Circulon stockpot was merrily boiling. Not only that, but the ENTIRE surface of the chili was boiling, not just a ring around the outside. The heat transfer properties are wonderful! Cleanup afterward is a true breeze, and though I haven't had time to really test it, the finish looks tough as nails. I'm happy with this product, and what a great price!

I've had this skillet for about two years, and it is the best all-round frying pan I've had. Among other things, I use it for brunch: eggs, bacon, fried bread, fried tomatoes and English bangers. The tomatoes have gradually stained the surface and reduced the non-stick slightly, but it's still great. I also have two Analon Pro skillets, but they don't take the abuse the way the Circulon steel does. The price is a steal, too!

This is a great pan for an awesome price - it cooks very evenly! Not to mention the non-stick part. You'll never have to scrub this pan hard, food and grease comes off easily with a sponge and a little detergent. My Circulon is the only pan I use, and I'd definitely recommend this pan for you too.

Minor issues are that it takes a while for the entire pan to heat since the bottom is thick and it is a bit heavy like other good-quality pans.

This is the best corning ware ever made, they stack well, very durable. I had 12 different corning or pyrex casseroles and always went for this shape first. There was a tragidy at our house this past year both my large dishes, 4 litre and a larger one, broke. I thought oh well I'll just go down town and buy another one in any pattern as long as it is the same size. Ya right they no longer make this product!!! I can't find anything near the large size anywhere in our area,...

Excellent, well-made, durable and perfectly shaped. I've found the square-rounded shape great for cupboard storage and well fitted for the refrigerator.
We received several sets of these casserole dishes as wedding gifts and still have them 27 years into our marriage! We use them all the time, mostly for reheating in the microwave and refrigerator storage.
Unfortunately, the glass covers have dwindled down to just one in our kitchen and we want to get replacements. Corningware really needs to bring back this design and make it available for the next generation.
With such terrific quality and shape, I can't imagine why they would mess with a perfect design.

This 101/4 everyday pan was much better than I expected. I've shopped all the stores locally to see up close what was out there. It was all so expensive I was about to give up until I spotted the sale at Amazon. I ordered it thinking that at this price, what could I lose. The pan is amazing. Every bit as good as anything out there. I immediately ordered another one while it was still on sale. Get it...you won't be sorry.

I love this pan.

It is the perfect size for cooking for one or two people. It heats beautifully and it's a joy to peer down into the food and see that silver shine gleaming back.

I wish I had a proper potrack to show it off!

I've been using the Cuisinart 8" non-stick skillet for several years now and found that I was trying to cram way too much into it because it was such a pleasure to use.

It was time to move on up. This pan is everything you'd want it to be. It heats evenly and quickly, the non-stick coating stays put in the pan, and the size is perfect for making dishes like chicken cacciatore or stroganoff for a family of 4. I only wish it came with a lid, but that's a small thing compared to the absolute functionality of this pan.

Oh yes, the helper handle is terrific.

This was the first Cuisinart non-stick pan I purchased and I use it daily along with the 8" non-stick. With this pan I no longer have a need for a saute pan and the clean up is amazingly easy. It does not pick up and pass along the flavor of the previous meal, something I've found with other non-stick pans. I wish a lid was offered as an option but I've solved the problem with a sheet of aluminum foil when I need to simmer something covered.

I'm ordering a second one because this is a great price for this workhorse of a pan.

This pan clearly is the best pan I have ever owned. It is not dishwasher safe, but it is so easy to wash you do not even mind the handwashing. No added fat is needed even for frying eggs. I just wished I owned more pans of this quality. The lid does not warp so you get a nice seal when you place it in the oven. It is safe up to 450 degrees.

This is a fine saute pan. Perfect for caramelizing onions and mushrooms, garlic, sauces, and other elegant enhancers for your great meals. I often brown meat and poultry as well in this pan. Non-stick hard anodized, of course, means low temps and easy cleanup. Sometimes I make an entire course in this pan. I can keep it warm in the oven while serving another course or until another dish is ready to serve with it. It is a nice size too. Not as heavy to handle and not as expensive as other premium cookware. I like the way it looks and I trust Cuisinart to stand behind their lifetime warranty.
