This is Easily My Favorite Piece of Cookware!
Attractive, roomy and versatile enough for cooking up a myriad of dishes. Handwashing is a breeze and keeps the pan much nicer for many more years than sticking it in the dishwasher does. I recommend this pan for anyone who enjoys cooking.

The Absolute Best Pan I Have Ever Owned
1. Perfectly flat bottom works flawlessly on my smooth top range. 2. Large hollow handle makes it easy to hold a full pan while the handle stays cool. 3. The mirror like finish is better than non-stick, and it cleans perfectly and easily ever time. 4. The thick bottom, aluminum inner linner, and smooth finish interior means food cooks and browns at lower temperatures. Imagine, crispy fried chicken without the spattering and smoke (we cook with olive oil which has a very low smoke point). 5. After cooking just add a cup of stock to de-glaze the pan and you have a tasty sauce and a clean pan.

Farberware=Value + high quality
I have a number of skillets and frying pans from Farberwares Millenium Stainless line. They are EXCELLENT products, especially taking into account their price! On another note, these are some of the few non-stick utensils which are dishwasher safe. Keep up the good work Farberware!

Worth the price...
I have been using my skillet for a few weeks now and I love it. I use it to make my breakfast and it is just the right size for 2 or 3 eggs. Since it is dishwasher safe, it is very easy to clean. Although, I have found that since it isn't so large it is no problem at all to wash it by hand. It is definitely one of the best non-stick skillets I have ever owned. I plan on getting the 10" and 12" skillets to go with it.

Farberware Classic 6-Quart Stockpot with Lid
Its a very good size utensil. The heavy bottom of the utensil helps it to be stable on electric as well as the gas burners. Also the thickness helps in slow cooking and the bottom retains heat. Ideal for rice recipes. Heating is uniform.
Another good utensil from Farberware in my collection.

Perfect pan for stuffed artichokes and beef based gravy!!!
This pan is a family classic in my home! I had to search and search many a page to find it, and its half the price I have seen on 'guarenteed lowest price' sites.

My family cooks traditional italian meals from gravy making to stuffed artichokes and this size is by far the most common pan we ever used.

As for Farberware, I can't say enough good things. If you could tell the 45 year old pots from the new ones in my Moms house, well you would be psychic because no one in the family can.

Even after the bean incident of 83, we still recovered the pan nicely (dont ask, but lets just say dad used power tools)

The best non-stick cookware on the market
I have purchased several major brands of non-stick cookware and have been disappointed with their performance. This is my third piece of Henckels cookware. I will be replacing all of my non-stick cookware with Henckels, it can't be beat for cooking performance or ease of cleaning.

Best Dutch Oven Ever!
I am a Personal Chef, and have one of these dutch ovens for home use, and a second one for business use. I LOVE TWIN CAST! The interior is smooth, with no rivets, so clean-up takes seconds. Heat distribution is even. Works great on gas and electric both. AND the Henckels 4-qt dutch oven with lid is much lighter that the Calphalon 5-qt Professional non-stick which I now use only as back-up. After I write this review, I'm going to order the 11-inch twin cast skillet.

Excellent Product!!
As a Pampered Chef consultant, I too, am very concerned with keeping my non-stick cookware safe, and this is just the product for that! My 10 pc. set and 6 open stock peices ALL fit on this rack with ease! It has adjustable heights and is so very easy to install! I love that it can be put just about anywhere! It has sure cleaned out my cabinet space and now all my cookware is easily accessable! My lids hang on the hooks as well. I would like to have more hooks, but it comes with a lot. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a sturdy out of the way place to store any of their cookware and utensils, that still is fashionable. For the price, this can't be beat!!

Love this Item, Heavy Duty, Functional and Attractive!
I bought this product through Amazon after shopping eBay and finding higher prices on the same exact item. The hardware was all included and it looks very nice. It's very heavy duty and functional and I was very pleased with the appearance and functionality. I am a Pampered Chef consultant and I love knowing that my expensive professional cookware is safe from scratches and the glass lids I store above the grid. Now I just need to figure out where to get Extra Hooks for this model, and I would be very pleased. I highly recommend this item.

Confirmation
On the strength of the above review, hesitating only because there were no others, I bought the product. I can now corroborate the conlusions there stated.

I gave five stars because I doubt that the handle would cause a problem in ordinary use. Mine was not riveted but seems to be spot welded (securely).

Actually 4 ½ stars ...
In a competitor's (let's say Brand X) poacher with plastic (ugh) cups, the thermal conductivity of the cups is so low that eggs effectively cook only from the top down from being directly exposed to the steam. Result: after 9 minutes of poaching (at 7300 feet), the yolk (which floats on top) and the top half of the egg white are firm; meanwhile the egg white on the bottom still quivers like jelly and is semi-transparent (ugh). And the cooking pan is quite shallow (just under one and one half inches inner measure), with the result that boiling water easily spills over on top of the poaching eggs, creating a real mess inside and out.

The stainless steel egg cups on this unit are perfectly formed and slightly flattened on the bottom with a thermal conductivity so good that eggs cook pretty equally from all sides. The pan is quite deep (just under two and three-eight inches inner measure) so that the poaching tray rides very high over the surface of the boiling water. The result is a perfectly poached egg, no messes, to whatever degree of firmness of the white one wants. Yet one can still have a soft or partially soft yolk, impossible to achieve with "Brand X" above. At an elevation of 7300 feet, poaching time using this pan for a firm white and medium (non-runny) yolk was 6 minutes; for a firm white and softer yolk, between 4 and 5 minutes. Lower elevations should adjust these times downward a minute or two.

Because of its' stainless steel composition, depth and diameter, the pan can also be used for other cooking. Indeed, this reviewer dares to suggest that despite its higher price, this unit is almost a mandatory addition to any good cook's staple of cooking utensils. Because of bad past experiences with the kind of riveted handle attachment to the pan used here, which breaks off too easily, this reviewer docks this unit one-half star. Aside from that, the design and materials of this product are generous indeed; it's appearance is so attractive that this reviewer left it sitting on top of the range as general décor. The only other gripe is with the shipping expense which was one-fourth of the total cost. But in all fairness the heavy-duty packaging did protect the glass lid and unit as a whole.

If you are looking for a great egg poacher, buy this model!

The best of my Le Creuset saucepans.
I got my first Le Creuset cookware in 1978. It was my college graduation week, & I was relaxing on the lawn reading the Sunday Boston Globe. I saw an ad for a Le Creuset starter set (French oven + 2 covered saucepans + skillet) for a very low price, so I decided to go for it since I was about to be out of the dorm living on my own. That purchase turned out to be one of my best investments ever, as I still use all the pieces today. I now have 3 French ovens, 5 covered saucepans, 3 skillets, 1 oval au gratin, 1 multi 2-in-1 pan with nonstick omelette cover, 1 rectangular baking pan, & 1 cheese fondue set, all in flame. These cast iron utensils are virtually indestructible, except for a few minor dings in the outer enamel. They cook very evenly, given the cast iron, making me a possibly better than average cook (they're one of my unfair advantages). My only problem with the cookware is the heavy weight, but that comes with the territory with cast iron utensils. I guess I'll have to get someone else to lift the pots when I'm old & decrepit. I know they'll outlive me!

My most recent saucepan acquisition is the 1 1/2-qt Windsor, & it has become my favorite. It does everything the other Le Creuset cast iron saucepans do. However, the tall sloping sides make it more difficult to spill, especially when stirring sauces. It is definitely my best saucepan for making sauces & gravies. I also prefer it for making rice & cooked cereals such as grits, cream of wheat, & oatmeal. I only wish it came in more sizes.

Don't be put off by the high price of Le Creuset pots & pans. In the long run, they're a bargain because of their long life. I intend to pass mine down to my sons. Bon appetit!

wouldn't recommend it for noodles...but....
I just received this pan as an engagement gift and already love it. In fact, in the two days i've been home from vacation (where i got the gift) i've used it twice! the first time i decided to boil chuka soba (curly japenese noodles, 5ounces)-- it was effective, because the water boiled pretty quickly and stayed a good temperature...but i let a couple noodles get stuck to the bottom and that was nervewracking because i had to scrub a little more than i wanted to get them off my brand new pot. last night i made some caramel sauce and this is where this pan really showed it's potential... the even heat allowed the sauce to be creamy and consistent--very yummy. this cleaned up like a dream.

i also have the red heart casserole and have been enjoying it for about a year. the quality is great and the colors are SO beautiful- you just can't see it on the web...if i didn't share a kitchen i'd keep the dishes displayed. my next two acquisitions from this line will hopefully be the french oven and the stockpot. great products!
