The Perfect Shape In A Perfect Material For Passionate CooksLots of other reviews on the site, including my own, extol the virtues of Calphalon's anodized aluminium construction, and I'll save the reader from rehashing this here; suffice to say, these pans can take anything you dish out and come out just fine. People used to cooking with other materials, especially stainless steel, will find that Calphalon heats faster and more evenly, so they'll need to adjust accordingly. If you already have and use Calphalon, you probably don't have this pan, and it's distinctly useful enough relative to straight-sided saucepans that you reall will enjoy using this pan instead.

This is such a great piece of cookware!I've tried this pot with chicken and veggies too, and not only does it cook at a lower temperature on my gas range but it also does not burn easily. The handles of the pot remain cool to the touch which is a preference since I have a clumsy tendency to burn myself. I am surprised to see it on clearance on Amazon.com. this is an excellent product with an excellent price!
