I received this cookware as a gift and have been thrilled with it. It is heavy guage, heats evenly, cleans up easily. The set has a versitle assortment of pans sizes - you'l be very happy with it. comparable to Calphalon at a far mor reasonable price.

I have purchased many Cuisinart pots and pans over the last 17 years. In the 90's Cuisinart made some cookware in the Pacific rim, (small sauce pans and skillets with a square, not round, hole in handle), it didn't seem to measure up to their usual standards. This stock pot has the same quality and feel as my 1985 starter sets' 9-quart stock pot. I am completely satisfied with my new 16-quart stock pot and the price from Amazon made me feel guiltly for paying so little!

We really like this saucepan. We have two of these and they get a pretty constant workout from pasta and vegis. They heat up quick and maintain heat very well. When I cook rice I only need simmer to keep the boil going. The lids are very nice and fit tightly. The nonstick has held up well, no problems yet after about 6 months of use. They also go in the dishwasher after each use. Very easy.

This pot is great. I use it to make hot cereal in the morning, and to cook other things later in the day. With the copper bottom, food cooks quickly and evenly. Also, it makes a great little casserole dish. I did not expect to like it so much.

The only drawback is the metal handles on the sides. They do get hot. Other than that, it is perfect.

This has quickly become my favorite piece of cookware. It is perfect for stirfrys, as well as anything else that doesn't require a lid. The nonstick surface is one of the best I've ever dealt with...everything wipes right off, even after over a year of constant use.

This is a wonderful little pan. I find I use it more than any other pan. It's especially nice to saute vegetables and with the high sides, it's easier to toss the veggies to turn them over.

This is a wonderful addition to any cookware set. This item is very sturdy. I like that it comes with a lid verses some steel casserole dishes that you much purchase them seperate. It is very easy to clean and I have cleaned using my dishwasher. I find that it is very easy to handle with the handles on the side. I was originally concerned that it would be difficult if you were making a large dish that filled it but that was not the case at all. I have been nearly full to the top and was able to handle without any problems. I definitely recommend this item.

This is a great pan. I decided to purchase this instead of the
same-size saute pan because of the handles. The saute pan, I
think, is limiting because of the long handle - it won't go in the
oven easily. I don't find the lack of a long handle limiting at
all. It's just as easy to use this pan on the stove top. Plus,
it looks much better on the table. The shiny stainless steel
exterior is pretty classy.

I admit that I never could understand why anyone would pay this amount of money for a pot. At the same time, I struggled along with my "cheap" pots and blamed my electic range as "unmanageable". It was frustrating to have to stand watch, stir everything often and keep adjusting the heat to no avail. Well, I bought two of these pots (3-3/4 and 6 qt. sizes) at a discount and it was the best purchase I ever made. The copper core transmits heat so beautifully that a medium setting is all that is required. No standing watch, only occasional stirring and best of all, no scorched food and no frustration. Even though they do not have a non-stick coating, nothing I've cooked sticks, or scorches, or burns and I've cooked bean soup, stews, soups, spaghetti sauce with meat etc. This size pot is so handy, I've just ordered another. They clean easily with a sponge and soapy water and the mirror bright finish is the same as the day I took them out of the box. I am in love with Cuisinart Everyday Stainless Steel pots!

I just added this pan to my set of Cuisinart Anodized Aluminum cookware and *love* it! It is very large and well-made. This (and the entire line) is so practical and cooks beautifully. I love that the lids can go into the oven with the pans, and that they can hang on the handles of the pans if so desired. I also like that this pan is so deep - very useful when baking in the oven. These pans are heavy - no flimsy metal here! If you're considering anodized aluminum, I highly encourage you to try Cuisinart!
