We have two of these (actually the 3 1/2Q size) and we use them on average four times a week. We cook everything in them. The nonstick has held up very well over the past few months, no scratches or scrapes so far. The lid is a great fit. It has very even and strong heat, I haven't needed to cook above medium in months now. You will need the helper handle if you are holding it too long though, as it is very heavy. Great size for a big mix of food. We usually do chicken and sauce in this pan, then finish the noodles in also, so it holds an entire dinner.

Two years ago we received a gift of a Cuisinart Everyday Stainless stockpot. We had just installed a flat-top range and we were finding that our old aluminum pots with rounded bottoms spent more time dancing around on the burner than cooking. This pot heats in a fraction of the time. I have a small fudge making operation. We had used Le Cruset enameled iron pots because of their even heating. The Cuisinart stockpot is far superior in being lighter and especially difficult to scorch, which is so important in candy making and simmering thick stews like chili or tomato sauce. I am anxiously waiting for the arrival of a full set of Everyday Stainless. Amazon's current prices are amazingly low for this product.

I recieved this pan 10 days ago from Amazon, and since then I have been using it non stop. We love to entertain and cook different dishes, at the same time we have an electrical stove. This pan was excellent in saving electricity. It is so sensitive to the tempreature you set it to, so the food comes out great.
I like the weight of the pan, it is heavy and steady.
It also looks great, it is a piece of art on my stove. I keep it on the stove top even when I am not using it because it adds a great loop to my stove.
It is a true professional cookweare.
I love it and highly recommend it.

If you have looked my reviews, you know that I like this series of cooking pots. This one is no exception. It is beautifuly executed, and has all of the world class useful qualities of the rest of the copper classic line. If you want to augment your non stick cookware, or choose to avoid non stick altogether, this line will become a family heirloom.

Purchasing this sauté pan was a huge decision for me. I finally committed to begin acquiring the quality cookware that I have always wanted. This piece of Cuisinart cookware is incredible. The first thing that I noticed was how beautiful it was. The second thing was how evenly it seemed to distribute the heat. The initial trials with the 51/2 quart pan took place with my most frequently used family recipes. I could finally cook enough food for our extended family, IN ONE PAN. The lid sealed great, and cleanup was not a problem. The pan is quite heavy but well balanced. The handle is comfortable, although it sometimes gets pretty warm depending on how much liquid you are simmering. This company definitely knows how to make a piece of cookware. I will most surely buy more.

This is my first product review. I just purchased this griddle and was so impressed with it that I wanted to let everyone know about it.

I had been searching for a pancake griddle that was reasonably priced, did not have a non-stick synthetic coating, was not heavy and cumbersome to handle, and that actually cooked pancakes without sticking.

This griddle is it. My family loves buttermilk pancakes and I am happy to say that I am turning out the best flapjacks I have ever made, thanks to this product. I give it a very light coating of cooking oil before I start, set the flame to medium/low, and cook the whole batch. The core of the pan heats evenly and I turn out 5 pancakes at a time. It fits on one burner and is very easy to clean when you're done. I highly recommend this griddle.

I bought Cuisinart Multi Clad cookware to replace some 60 year old cookware. This sauteuse pan is very functional. It has sturdy rivited handles, a tight fitting lid and best of all,it is a nice heavy weight without it being too heavy. The pans weight makes it easy to saute a mirade of things without it sliding or bouncing around on the burner. I have used this pan as a casserole dish in the oven, poached eggs for eggs benedict, fry up some chicken, and even made fajitas in it as well. It goes beautifully from stove to oven to table if you are using it as a casserole dish. I have even taken it to social functions and it looks good on a buffet table. Clean up is a snap. If any food is stuck or burned on, a short soaking of hot soapy water, a nylon scraper and it all comes out beautifully clean. An ocasional rub with Bar Keepers Friend helps keep it looking brand new. I am well pleased with the quality and workmanship of the Cuisinart line and find it comparable to the All Clad line but at a much better and more affordable price.

This pan is the same quality as all others in the MultiClad line -- excellent!!! It will work just as well as All-Clad Stainless for half the price. There is one thing to be wary of though; the pan weighs around 15 pounds. This is not for smaller cooks.

This is a great pot for a mulitude of uses. I have used it to cook spaghetti sauce, chili, various stocks, soups, boiled dinners, cooked pasta and to make demi glaze without it scorching, burning or having hot spots to contend with. I have also used this in the oven to make Boston Baked Beans for a crowd and the pot performs perfectly every time. I have also used this pot to make hot mulled spiced wine for a holiday party and used it directly as a hot punch bowl. Since it is made out of stainless steel, there is no fear of a reaction of acidic foods becoming dark, off colored or ending up with a funny taste. It has sturdy handles, a nice hefty weight without it being too heavy and a lid that fits tightly. Although I also own the Cuisnart Multi Clad 8 quart stock pot, I find this size useful for smaller quantities. If food is stuck or burned on, a short soak with hot soapy water and a nylon scraper and it cleans up beautifully. Although you can put this into the dishwasher, I prefer to wash it by hand and use on occasion a rub of Bar Keepers Friend to keep it in brand new condition. I find the quality and workmanship comparable to the All Clad line but at a much better and much more affordable price. It is a stockpot you will use time and time again and one I recommend.
