I received this item a few months ago and I am truly pleased with its performance. I have simmered spaghetti sauce all day without scorching, slowly braised beef and lamb shanks, and pot roast to fall off the bone tender. Any scorched or burned stuck on food cleans up easily with a short soaking of hot soapy water and a nylon scraper. I use Bar Keepers Friend on occasion to keep the pot in new like condition. The 8 quart size is also perfect for cooking up pounds of pasta, simmering stews, soups and chili for a crowd or for two persons to put the extra away in the freezer. The lid sits nicely and tightly on the pan with a very minimal amount of steam escaping and the handles are securely rivited making it easy to either lift, move or pour. All in all an excellent stock pot and one I consider an essential part of any cookware collection.

I've had many non-stick fry pans, but this one is the nicest I've ever seen. And the price makes it even nicer. I'd recommend this pan in any size available. Just remember not to use to high a temperature when cooking in this or any other non-stick fry pan. You will not get a good "sear" on meat from this type of pan and will ruin the pan itseslf. I learned that lesson the hard, and expensive, way!

This is a very nice (large) sauteuse pan that delivers everything promised. High quality in every respect. Lid fits great, no hot spots. Cleans easily. It is a large pan, suitable for simmering a large amount of pasta sauce or making casseroles for a large gathering.

Just got this with the 2-3/4 qt. sauce pan last week and used it for the first time today to melt some chocolate. Really did a great job of even heating and melting. We have several pieces from the Cuisinart MultiClad line and they are all 1st rate.

I've tried lots of pans and lots of brands, including different
Cuisinart skillets. Most have one problem or another. Hot spots, scorching, sticky non-stick surfaces, etc. The Cuisinart Multiclad line of cookware is truly professional grade. You can pay more for other brands, but you won't get more when you put them to the smoke test in your own kitchen.

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A SAUCIER PAN, BUT THIS IS THE FIRST ONE I'VE SEEN THAT COMES WITH A LID FOR THE PRICE. I AM ORDERING IT IMMEDIATELY AS I AM HAVING A DINNER PARTY VERY SOON AND I MAKE ALOT OF FRENCH SAUCES. I THINK THIS IS EXACTLY THE PAN I NEED TO MAKE A SPECIAL ONE THAT I ALWAYS PREPARE...FROM SCRATCH...GARLIC BORDALAISE, TO PUT ON SEAFOOD & GRILLED VEGETABLES. I AM HAPPIEST WHEN I'M IN THE KITCHEN PREPARING A MEAL FOR JUST MYSELF & MY HUSBAND...BUT WHEN I'M ENTERTAINING WOW!! I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO GET THIS PAN AND START USING IT!!!THINK IT WILL BE ALSO A GREAT PAN FOR JUST HEATING UP SAUCES AND OTHER FOODS TOO, SO IT WILL NOT JUST BE A PAN THAT IS USED "OCCASIONALLY".

I wanted one but Amazon twice sent the useless Baniel Boulud 3 quart Casserole in error and finally said they cannot ship one of these at all.

I ordered this braising roaster twice from Amazon for $69.99 since December 23, 2003 and they would not ship it. They shipped a 3 quart casserole instead. When I told them about the mistake they promptly shipped another ...3 quart casserole. Then the said they could not ship it because they did not know why they could not ship it. (?!) I ordered another color. The very same thing happened. Altogether I have returned four 3 quart casseroles to them. They were slow in giving me a refund.

Now they've raised the price and removed all reviews including the one I wrote about their inability to ship the correct item.

Beware the Amazon deceptions. Who wants to buy from a company like them. Not me anymore.

I love this pan! I decided on the Boulud cookware after looking at Le Creuset for months. It's heavy and multi purpose: you can brown, stew, oven braise all in the same pan. Plus it's big enough to cook a whole chicken (I got the 5 quart for this reason). And clean up was surprisingly easy.
You will want to slightly reduce your cooking temperatures and times, however, because the pan holds heat much better (and longer) than a conventional roasting pan. And get a potholder before reaching for the lid, even for stovetop cooking. I think the hot grips would be my only criticism -- I only did it once before learning to leave a potholder nearby!
The price beats Le Creuset by a mile, and you get the same features.

Emerilware nonstick cookware is amazing! I have used this saucepan along with an arsenal of other Emerilware products for the past year and a half and I recommend it to everyone -- from those just beginning to cook, to those "seasoned" chefs! In fact, I just purchased the Emerilware nonstick 10 piece set as a present for my Mother. And, I am currently adding to my own collection.

I can't promise this cookware will make you a better cook, but you will definitely have more FUN cooking! The cookware heats quickly and evenly and the handles stay cool... it looks great... the nonstick material is tough and durable (I've had NO problems with it peeling off in 1.5 years of hard use)... the nonstick layers allow virtually effortless cleaning -- even the worst messes just rinse away with a dab of soap and a sponge, with no scrubbing required!!!

So don't wait -- buy this product NOW!
