What can I say, I use every piece of it pretty much every day! I always thought Le Creuset was overpriced and a waste. Then my friend had me use hers when we did a traditional Thanksgiving last year, and I've been desperate to own some ever since.

Thank you Pam and Amazon.com for showing me the best way to cook, with enameled cast iron. I'm phaasing old the old pots and cooking with ease these days using my new Le Creuset!

I even used the 2qt. casserole dish on the stovetop to deep fry donuts when we were in a pinch the other night. It worked flawlessly, and the heat retention helped alot with the deep frying.

Never mind teflon, Le Creuset has a wonderfully inert porcelain coating on heavy cast iron. So this pot heats up, holds the heat on low, and the food, with proper amounts of oil, doesn't stick. Cleanup is very easy. A few gotchas: no high heat (ruins the porcelain), no abrasives to clean (ditto) and it is best to warm the pot a bit before putting in the oil as it then fills the micro-sized pores of the coating. And if you leave it on too high, the food will catch on the bottom and burn, of course.

I use this for pot roasts (as I write this, one is cooking right now), for stews and soups. It's my favorite pot and it just sits out on the stove in all its red glory because chances are, that's the one I am going to use to make a meal.

What can I say about Le Creuset items except that I love them! I have too many items to list and I use every piece at least once a week. I love this piece not only because of its color but also, the tapered bottom means less room for a creamy soup to burn. The citrus color also adds a burst of vibrancy to the kitchen! This solid cast iron pot distributes the heat evenly, thus making it ideal for cooking soups, stews and anything with liquid.

I have 5 pieces of Le Creuset cookware and this one is my favorite! I use it the most often. I purchased my 3 1/2 qt saucepan first since we are a family of 5. However, if I had it to do over I would have bought the 3 1/2 qt as a dutch oven. The 3 1/2 qt saucepan is pretty heavy to lift one-handed. The phenolic handles on this are much more practical when lifting to drain pasta. Also, it isn't too difficult to lift this size. I love the flame color - it's such a sunny, fun color. I use this for oatmeal, pasta (which does stick a bit), sauces, you name it... It's a very handy pan.

The shape and size of this piece is perfect for so many dishes. I chose the white (conservatively) because it compliments everything from a red sauce pasta to paella to saffron rice etc. and can come to a formal dinner table or a tailgate party in style. Needless to add, the LeCreuet quality assures the cook of a round of applause.

The Le Creuset 2 1/2-Quart Buffet Casserole is a smaller version of their famous 7 1/4-Quart Bouillabaisse pot. These handmade pots combine form and function so beautifully. I love how I can take it from the stovetop (or oven) directly to the table and have a pretty serving dish for any kind of casserole or specialty dish. I have a matching Le Creuset trivet to protect the table from the hot pan.

I use this pan for rice dishes, smaller servings of paella, curry, and calimari. Everything I have made in it has turned out well. Add this casserole to your collection--you will love it!

Alright, I do not own this adorable dish, I am just a fanatic of all things garlic. This is just to cute and unique looking, yeah, it is on my wishlist! This would be an attractive and conversational way to present dinner.

I have used this pot for making soups, stews, and sauces. But I also use it to make a whole chicken in the oven, with the lid on. I usually make a 3-4 lb. chicken. The chicken comes out perfect after about an hour and a half. (at 375) It's moist and juicy and wonderful, with little effort.
This is the only Le Creuset I own. I bought it because I wanted a pot I could use for many dishes. So far I have been very happy with it. I use it several nights a week.

The only down side, is not being able to use metal in it. But that's the only negative I can think of.
