We purchased this popper some time ago to replace another brand, and this one is the greatest. Turns out the best popcorn you can eat. Beats microwave or air popped corn hands down!

You can pop with or without oil.

My only complaint is the plastic gears connecting the crank to the stirring filaments. We use the popper at least weekly, and it wasn't long before the plastic wore down and "stripped" to the point that the crank shaft spun uselessly in the gear. We were able to drill a tiny hole and insert a tiny metal pin that fixed the problem, but not everyone is going to have the tools or the patience to do that.

I saw a popper in a local store that used metal gears. Maybe Wabash should think about doing the same to give their popper excellent durability.

This will become my standard wedding gift to couples I know entering marriage!

As a frequent chomper of popcorn, I can honestly say that I have tried popcorn from all the various popping methods that exist. This popper is NOT difficult and is VERY fast. The aluminum pot conducts the heat from your stove VERY quickly and, before you know it, you have perfect, un-burned, thoroughly-popped popcorn. After I dump the popcorn into a large bowl, I use the pot to quickly melt some butter to top-off the snack. It truly is not much more effort than tearing open a microwave popcorn bag and waiting for it to be done. In fact, if you care about the quality of your food ingredients, making popcorn with the Whirley Pop is WAY better than all the junk they add to mircowave popcorn (read the ingredient label!). Enjoy

I thought microwave popcorn was convenient--This popper beats all! Control the seasonings, the butter...in 4 minutes you have a fully popped container...no unpopped kernals, nothing burnt. Make "movie theater style," kettle corn with sugar, one of the colored popcorns (red, blue or white or plain) or just popcorn with a little olive oil. The kids love it too--much cooler but reminiscient of the jiffy pop days of the 1970s! Plus Whirly pop makes them in the USA which is MY BIG THING! This cannot compare with some cheap knock off made in China...Happy Popping!

Elevating your roast while cooking it is essential for even-cooking and keeping it out of the fat-ladened drippings. This rack accomplishes that nicely when used in a small size roasting pan (we have the "Calphalon Professional 14" Small Commercial Roaster").

Typical of the Calphalon quality that most people expect from their products, this rack will not disappoint. When they say "non-stick", they mean it! We use this rack over and over and it is still as easy to clean as the day we first used it. Excellent price for an excellent product! If you have a small roaster (or like to use the store-bought disposeables), then this is the perfect addition to your kitchen.

As a brief after-thought, this would make a good little "bonus", along with a set of lifters and maybe a flavor injector, if you are giving someone a roaster as a gift. :)

If you don't want to spring for a roasting pan, no problem - the disposables do just as well. There is no question, however, that your bird needs a lift out of its own juices. There is no better way than with this rack. Large, sturdy and truly non stick, this rack will ensure even cooking by exposing all sides equally.
When you find a high quality kitchen essential at such a low price, I can see no reason to let it go. Buy it. Now.

Every time I use my Calphalon roasting pan and rack, I am amazed how easily food comes off both rack and pan.

This is the best roasting pan I have ever worked with! Beef, poultry, lamb, you name it. It is great for making lasagna (note: it takes two boxes and will feed about 20.) The forks make lifting any turkey a breeze. If you are really into seasoning meat, then get this set for the injector alone. I've even used this pan to make a large sheet cake. I've never had any problems cleaning it. Don't ever use any kind of steel wool or scotch-rite scrubber on Calphalon, and don't put it in the dishwasher, it will ruin it. The best part - the price Amazon offers - you won't find a better value.

My husband bought this pan and I thought he was crazy for spending so much on a pan. It was worth every penny! He loves to cook roasts which means I am usually the one cleaning up. None of the burned grizzle sticks to this pan. It just slides right off! The lifters are great too. The baster also has a pointy end and works as an injector too. Great pan! I highly recommend it!

Simply put, this has been the best roaster we have ever own. This roaster gets the job done, especially for turkey and roasts. Highly reccomend.

This Farberware pan is a study in functionality. It is well made and quite rugged; it has a relatively thick bottom and heats very evenly, and has high quality, durable phenolic handles, which are securely attached and will last a long time. It also has an attachment on the handle to enable hanging from a hook.

My only critique of the pan is that it is a bit too tall relative to other two quart saucepans, and not as big in diameter as I would like, as it won't cover even the smallest burner on an electric range. That is the main reason that I gave it four stars instead of five, but I also deducted a bit for appearance: the pan is homely. I am not looking for a major style statement in my cookware, but rivals like Cuisinart have similarly priced high quality cookware that is considerably more stylish and less dowdy.

Recommended overall: will give years of good service if treated with even a modicum of care, which, in the end, is what I really want from a saucepan.

they are nice pans. Just watch your stove. mine went superpower and boiled off a pan full of water and then proceded to cook the pan itself in just under 20 minutes. You can get a pretty cool warp patern on the bottom of these things though.

Beware of so-called Amazon rebates. They are phony and will never materialize. I am still waiting after three months for my $50 rebate in Kitchen & Houseware. Amazon now refuses to reply.

Overall, this is a very good set. I bought it at a great price and it is easy to clean and heats quickly and evenly.

I read another review that said the claimed "stay cool" handles worked for them. I don't know if they bought a different set or not, but my handles DO NOT stay cool at all. To pick up the pots by the handles are as bad as grabbing the pot and picking it up. My husband and I have both burned hands, thinking that the stay cool advertisement really worked. So, use caution when touching them for the first time if you choose to buy this set!

I bought this set of pots and pans for my sister who just graduated from college and set up her first home. She was really excited because they are so nice looking, not like the usual inexpensive cookware sets. Also, she says they really are nice to use. Highly reccommended for an expensive looking, decent, set of pans for a great price.

I purchased this set of cookware to take to FL this winter when we are there for about 5 weeks. I did not want to transport part of my kitchen and needed only a few basic pieces. This is outstanding cookware and you cannot beleive the price. Very sturdy and heavy. What a delight to cook in. I really love to work in my kitchen and was wondering how I was going to make it without my quality stainless steel for over a month. With this, I won't have to give up anything.

"It's that time of year" as the song goes. Another holiday gathering, another holiday meal and time to gather the holiday hardware. No beter place to find a great bargain than the internet...right? I thought so. And if you've read as far as this review you know the two contenders for quality bakeware are All Clad and Calphalon (I read these same reviews). The Calphalon pan is touted as being U.S. made and carrying a retail price tag of $220. You probably already know the score on All Clad by now. Desiring to keep as much money in my pocket as possible at this time of year and still wishing to obtain a quality product I opted for the Calphalon. Opon delivery the first thing that met my eye was a phrase on the box stating "Select Savings". Hmmm. How does $220 translate into savings, and "select" at that? The next thing I discovered was the "Made in China" label. Wow. China, Michigan maybe (dunno)? I inspected the roaster and frankly this is another metal pan, stainless...so what. I have pans with aluminum cores and they have a robustness to them that this is lacking. Finally where does the $220 number come from? Not on the Calphalon link. Fact is the pan isn't shown there at all. I did find it on anoter site. $120. That makes more sense. It is worth that. So I saved 20 bucks. Deal of the season? Hmmm. Was this review helpful? I wasn't sure about the Calphalon Tri-ply Stainless Roasting Pan when I had purchased it. It's great in the oven and even on the stovetop. I was impressed with this pan. Before I disliked roasting but with this pan, it's terrific. Even the clean up is easy. It's a great buy.

This Calphalon Tri-Ply Stainless Roasting Pan roasting pan is a terrific buy at $59 (current list price at Amazon). I bought one for Thanksgiving and am very satisfied with its performance in roasting a turkey and roasting beets.

With the turkey, the drippings browned nicely and evenly without scorching (at 325°). The handles are sturdy, and cleanup was as easy as any of my other stainless steel cookware (the rest is All-Clad). I have not yet tried this pan on my stovetop, but I anticipate it working well. The bottom is thick with an aluminum core (same as All-Clad), and it should conduct heat as evenly as one could hope. The beets roasted perfectly, too, but a good roasting pan is not required for that task.

Cook's Illustrated has not yet reviewed the Calphalon Tri-Ply Roasting Pan; I'm anxious to see how it fares. I can't say that this pan is necessarily better or worse than the All-Clad Stainless Steel Roti because I haven't tried the All-Clad in the kitchen, but I can say this one works fine. You can probably guess at the price difference.

For the money, this is an excellent roasting pan.

This is just an all-around wonderful pot. I love the even heating, great size and gorgeous look. I've used it to cook many things and cleanup is a breeze. Highly recommended (especially for the price!)

I bought 2 of these and they were shipped from Pennsylvania, and even with the free shipping option, they still arrived in 2 days. The pots look nice and cook evenly.

I shopped on line and at high-end retail outlets to find the best pot rack for the money. Obviously, this rack is a Chinese copy of a classic Enclume design. Honestly... pot racks are not a high tech kitchen innovation! I decided that the prices of the Enclume racks must be for their 'designer-label'. The Old Dutch rack is more sturdy than it's Calphalon competitors. The finish is quite good, though not like a custom Harley Davidson. It needs only to not corrode and that is more than adequately accomplished. Assembly and hanging are simple, and I like the hanging hardware and good supply of hooks (24) that are included. They are also well finished in matching chrome. My one reservation was that the curved support stringers were not stamped perfectly, and they did not align perfectly where they met at the upper bolt holes. That turned out to be inconsequential once it was near the ceiling and became invisible when it was loaded... When loaded up with high-performance cookware, this rack makes a very strong decorating statement, "We COOK here!" ...no designer label nor extra expense needed!

As expected, this pot rack came well packaged, well built, and has a heavy and sturdy mass to it. I love it! Because the way it's designed, the pot rack doesn't need you to balance the cookware. I have seen many pot racks that hang by two steel ropes. As you can imagine, if you put too many pots on right then it's going to tilt toward the right. But not this rack, all you have to do is to balance just a bit, then you are ok. I
couldn't believe how heavy in mass this pot rack is when it arrived. It definitly is money worth paid!!

This is a terrific addition to a kitchen where one enjoys cooking. It's nice looking and well built. With 24 hooks it's possible to display all the tools and pans you want for easy access. We have a 9 ft ceiling and the pot rack hangs at just the right height over our island. Really like this new addition to our cooking area.

$100 for a casserole dish? You have got to be kidding. I don't care how good it is. For $100 it better load itself up, walk itself over to the oven, turn it on and get in. I pity anyone who buys this. $100 is bad enough but look at it. What's wrong with cookware that looks like cookware?

This casserole is excellent. I bought this one, and the green pepper, as a set to use when serving salsas and sauces. They look great on the table together. Then I went and gave them their own shelf and they've been so pretty together up there. I get compliments on them EVERY TIME someone new comes into my kitchen - often from regulars who just admire them all the time. I think they are worth the money just for the quality and uniqueness of the product but make no mistake, as darling as they are they are real workhorses when it comes to cooking and serving and a delight to use for host and guest alike.

Both of my pots came with a "stemlike" handle, not the round handle shown in the pic. Check out the yellow pepper to see the handle you'll probably get.

This piece from Le Creuset is pretty enough to leave out on top of your stove. I use mine constantly, from soup to rice to baked items in oven. Great tip: warm in oven and use to transport/serve food made in a different kettle. Great for keeping mashed potatoes HOT until served. Also, incredibly useful for anyone who prepares and transports meals... keeps food warm -- recipient of your dinner-gift will be thrilled to receive ready-to-eat food. I have owned mine several months and it has never made its way into the cupboard.

I've been using this griddle for about 3 months now and cannot say enough about it. The non-stick coating is fabulous and when making pancakes, I do not have to use any oil or butter at all. The handle stays very cool to the touch and is easy to grip.

So far the pan has not warped in any way and is still in perfect condition. I would highly recommend this griddle for anybody who is into breakfast.

This griddle is wonderful. Everything comes out browned just right and doesn't have that 'stiff' texture you get sometimes with non-stick. I love it!

I've had this griddle for several months and it is my favorite pan in the kitchen. Nothing sticks, it heats ultra-evenly, I can make breakfast for one easily, and clean up is just 30 seconds of soap and water! It's been great with french toast, grilled sandwiches, bacon and eggs, pancakes... you name it! I've been using Calphalon Non-Stick for 10 years and this pan is equivalent quality and I expect to last at least that long!
