THIS IS GREAT TO PRESS A CUBAN SANDWICH. IT'S HARD TO FIND A LARGE FLAT SURFACE TO PRESS THESE SANDWICHES. IT HAS MANY OTHER USES AND YOU CAN GRILL FOOD AS WELL.

Was looking for an indoor grill and glad to have found this one. It works really well. Cooks evenly, no smoke, looks good on counter, much better quality than those competitive products you hear about from famous chefs. Just a bit hard to clean inbetween the grooves, but that's to be expected of any grill like this. Good quality product-I'm happy.

Have you ever needed a tool that actually does a good job to help you in your back yard whenever you had a barbecue? Well, after using this tool, I could not go back to using anything else to help me cook on the grill. This great collapsible tong is perfect when I use it to flip hamburgers, big pieces of meat, and anything else you would put on your grill to cook. Also, the tongs can also collapse, meaning that you can easily put it away in storage without taking up much space, which I think is very wonderful. The design of this set of tongs is just great and it also is very comfortable to use when in your hands. The black grip pads are long and non slip so the tongs will not slip out of your hands when handling food. A very highly recommended buy if you grill or barbecue often outside. These tongs go well with any cook, because of the comfort you get when using this. I definitely will stick to using these tongs for a long time. You should pick these tongs up if you do not own one already, because it just makes sense to have one of these at your home.

This is a really affordable turbo oven for this price. Although it doesnt seems as solid as others, its quite a good value.

I got the Santa Fe Quesadilla maker and love it. When I saw this, I thought that it would be a great addition to my kitchen. It is! I like fajitas and this is great for that, but it also works as a buffet for parties, keeping foods warm during a meal, or you can even eat off of it when you're having a cozy dinner for 2. The uses for this are endless.

The only reason why this doesn't get the last star, in my book, is because of its somewhat limited usefulness. However, if you live in an apartment or otherwise anywhere where grilling is impossible, this is the next best thing....like all other Le Creuset products this heats evenly and wonderfully and takes abuse. I got mine as part of a 6-piece set (along with a Dutch Oven, Baking Pan, and Casserole) and sorta at first saw this as a "filler" piece. However, to it's credit, this pan can do even easilly-burned items like tofu dogs and fake bacon WONDERFULLY, which shocked me--I was convinced that nothing could give a "grilled" effect to those items. I even got adventerous the first time I used it and grilled some apple rings. I panicked when some sugar seemed to be burnt on for good despite a good soaking, but after the pot had been dried and put away for 48 hours it flaked right off. Forget what you know about nonstick surfaces, btw, and banish those bad memories of cruddy, flaking Teflon from the 70's. Just treat this well (I only use wooden utensils on it) and it will treat you well. Follow the instructions and enjoy! Just be sure to use a potholder and realize that once this thing gets hot it STAYS hot for a LONG time.

Nice addition to your kitchen if you are cooking bacon, which tend to curl up. The bottom is smooth, with no places for food to catch and hide.

Cavet, the first one I had, the spring on the handle broke. (the wire spring is welded to the wire handle, it must have been overheated as the wire spring broke loose from the handle. Not incapacitating it, as the spring just rolls in you hand, but annoying.) I wrote Lodge Mfg, and they sent a replacement which has worked fine ever since. Hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Requires some assembly, a screwdriver and a small wrench. Easy for any handyperson to do.

When I purchased these tongs at a price of less than $10, I expected to recieve something small I could use only in the kitchen. Instead, I recieved tongs large enough for any grilling occasion. Though I haven't used them with steak yet, I feel that they may be a bit too flimsy for heavy grilling, but they are suitable for chicken and hamburgers. A sleek design and low price make these a great buy.
