The bug off bbq light doesn't work.
The mosquitoes don't seem to be affected by this!

Nothing worse than being outside and being eat up by skeeters.

This works ok. I like it.

My BBQ Grill was in complete darkness before I had the Zelco Bug-off BBQ light. This light is very effective. It has a toggle switch for bug repellent (off, one bug type noise, another bug type noise, and then a dragon fly repellent noise). If you extend the arm, the light automatically turns on, with or without a bug repellent noise. This means you don't need to hear those high pitched noises (and you can hear them) if you don't want to.

My grill has no place to clip this on, but that is no problem. With the weight of the 4 D batteries, it sits securely on the side of my grill. In order to use the clip on though, you will need a totally flat ledge on the side of the grill.

Great for grilling (dig those authentic grill marks!), but such a pain to clean because it's not nonstick! You will need to buy scrubbing pads to clean it after soaking it in hot soapy water.

I was very disappointed that this is so hard to clean using Calphalon's selected cleaning methods. I have to seriously consider whether I have the physical strength to do the scrubbing required to clean it so that it will be able to be used again without residue building up.

I was surprised that none of the reviewers mentioned deglazing as an easy way to clean the grill pan or any other Calphalon anodized cookware piece. Add hot water to the pan when you've removed the food. The water will sizzle and stirring with a utensil will quickly loosen stuck particles of food. Even better, add wine or stock instead and create a sauce. Calphalon includes great cleaning instructions in their cookware now. Go to their website for assistance.

Everything is top quality except the kettle itself. The stainless still is thin and dents easily. It's freakin' chinese made, so you get lesser quality. However, I couldn't find a cheaper pot of similar quality.

The burner and strainer are top quality. The kettle came with dents already visible. I've been using it as a brew pot to boil wort and will test it with turkey in a few weeks. However, the BTU output is obviously up to the task.

My only problem is the stainless steel in the pot is a tad too thin. I just hate to see "Made in China" on anything I buy. I'd rather pay an extra... and read made in USA.

Overall, though, I guess it meets my expectations for performance. I mean after all, I didn't buy the damn thing to hang on the wall and show everyone my dent free stainless steel wort kettle. I do wonder if it will last though 10 years, 20-30 turkeys and 500 gallons of beer wort though.

For the money this is a great pot. The stainless is high quality but a little thin. I don't mind because I won't use it that often and it's easy to clean. Much easier than aluminum. I priced a restuarant quality ss pot this size at a local supply house and it was twice as much. Great pot for a couple days a year use.

An otherwise good product that has an
apparent quality/engineering flaw.
The timers for this product are useless.
I have had two of these grills and the timers on each item
failed on the VERY FIRST USE>
the dials were not forced, just inferior quality.
Of course, you are not supplied
with a customer service number to call for repair.

There are too many great things to say about this little device: It's affordable to anybody, even if you are a student stuck living at school. It's compact, you can store it anywhere--a closet, your car, your office, the kitchen cabinet. It's powerful--I have plugged it in and in just minutes began working on an entire three course meal for six people with only this unit to work with. It's easy to clean--this is one of the few products out there that is every bit as easy to clean as the commercials show it to be on TV. It's is economical, using very little electricity to do a just that would waste electricity in a conventional oven or even an older model microwave oven. It's versatile--I have cooked everything from thin pieces of tempeh strips to thick steaks and it cooks both to perfection. You never would have been able to convince me to buy anything on TV before (and most certainly not from a former boxing champion...) but since a friend both this grill for me I have thanked them time and again (and in turn bought the same gift for many a friend of my own).

Too darn small! Spend the extra money and buy the next size up. Tried to cook a turkey breast, and it just barely fit under the lid. Not a lot of room if you plan on using a roasting rack. No room, if you want to do a smoker box. With just the two burners, it can be a challenge to control heat for large items, if you are using indirect cooking. Still, it is an excellent grill. Easy to assemble and does an excellent job on the easy stuff. Excellent for burgers and brats, but I would go up to the next size, for anything more exotic.

This is a great propane grill. Although not as spacious as others for less cash, it has been top quality. It has a reasonably accurate propane gas gauge. It is super easy to give that occasion cleaning. Meat cooks great with consistency and accuracy (after you get used to it). I just wish it was a bit bigger and had more room for a cast iron smoke box. You can use one these to provide more flavor in the meat but the "flarozier bars" are pretty high and getting the box in is a tight fit. This is a great grill throughout (other than it's utilitarian size), it also has survived Houston summers very well.

The non-stick surface started flaking off on the SECOND use. This seems to be typical of Grilla Gear products, as the non-stick surface started coming off the FIRST time I used their 16 oz. Saucepot.

This cool looking, versatile, perforated hybrid of the time honored kitchen standards of the west: the skillet, and the east: the wok, is both fun to use and makes for some exciting low fat grilling. Can be used on the barbeque grill or stove top, great for vegetables and seafood. When using a rub or other messy spices, we use the skillet-wok outdoors on the grill, which also enhances the flavor. The non-stick surface works really well, but watch out for a hot handle!

This is a must for grilling vegetables and seafood. The folding handle allows you to adjust the flame perfectly. You have to try it!

Before I ordered this grill I requested info on the useable grill cooking area. You emailed me the next day and informed me the cooking surface was 14x19.So I ordered it because I wanted the large area. Well somebody better get out there ruler...(including the manufacture, whose website also said 14x19 grilling area, and the printing on the box also says 14x19). The grilling area is only 14x9!!!The total width of the whole unit is only 11 1/2 so it couldn't possibly have a 14" wide grill size! I probably will return this...!!!

What I thought I was buying was a pancake griddle with the bonus of having a grill. What I got was a too-small griddle with a grill. I don't know about you but when I'm making breakfast I want to get it cooked and sit down and eat it. The size of the griddle was good for 3 small pancakes without having them run over into the well. The metal itself was thin with a very thin coating of non-stick. The griddle was, on the other hand, very thick and heavy. The power was more than adequate. The metal on the sides was not easy to clean. For me, hopeless.

I ordered this grill after reading an enthusiastic review in strangely enough Smart Money magazine. The grill has lived up to my expectations--it is sleek, stylish, and cleans up easily. The variable temperature control feature also provides additional cooking flexibility.

Based upon the reviews here, there is no way I am going to buy this light handle.

The idea of having a light to grill by is a good one. The grill-0ut light is heavy when you get the six required D-cell batteries in. The handle looks and feels cheap! The light pattern on my food looks like two giant onion rings (very distracting). This is definitely not up to Weber standards!

As a Weber Gas Grill Loyalist I was very excited about this new cooking light and found that it worked well during the first month of use in December 2002. Then at the beginning of February 2003 both lights have begun to melt and the handle is very hot to the touch. I contacted Weber's customer service and they replaced it at no charge. I replaced the old handle and the new handle is just as hot. Weber recommended using a heat protective glove when grabbing the handle. What kind of design improvement is that? Weber usually has great/reliable products; not this one.

If you want easy cleaning, don't buy this one! If you like to scrub, scrub, scrub, then look no further.

Difficult to clean after first use. Cleaning between "groves" requires lots of work. Not worth the price.

I bought this as I liked that it had two different type sides and big, also suppose to be nonstick!!!..
Will only some of that part is true, but the first time I made Pancakes in it, It worked real well , the second time, no matter how much oil I put on the grill they stuck and it won't come off..
Then I fried Bacon! Now you would think that Bacon cannot not stick!! Wrong, they did, two lbs. of bacon....

The only thing I can say that is good about this is, it seems to cook pretty even, and its big, thought that deserved 2 stars...But big deal if everything sticks to it, and you can't even get it clean!!

I like to grill steak, chops and chicken and have used a George Foreman grill exclusively before purchasing this grill. This piece is a nice alternative to the GF...particularly since it grills one side at a time.

The Good...because it sits atop your stove burners, you can adjust the heat setting (though this takes some practice)...which is something the bargain GF grills don't do and the more expensive GF grills do with only a small range of temps. Plus, if you span it across two burners, you can have one end set to a grilling temp and the other end set to a "keep warm" temp. No grill is easy to clean, but this one's easier than a GF type.

The Bad...though it has a non-stick coating, you should still use a non-sticking spray (Pam).

The Jury's still out...I wonder how long the non-stick surface will last with it being in direct contact with the carbon heating elements of an electric burner. Also, I doubt I would have used this for a gas burner as you'd have to closely monitor the flame to ensure it doesn't "suffocate" and you're left with a build-up of natural gas.

chimneys starters are a good way to go but like some of the other reviewer's mine popped a rivet and rusted. The Weber is
far superior.

Chimney starters are the only way to go for charcoal. However, do not by this one! As with another review, I also had one of the rivets holding the handle on pop. It also rusted out after the first use. BUY THE WEBER VERSION! I have now had the Weber version for over a year and it is still going strong with weekly use. Price is usually the same.

Amazon used to offer the Weber Charcoal Chimney at the same price. The Weber Charcoal Starter is 1000% better than this product. I had one of these and once when dumping the coals the upper rivet (yes rivet) came lose and the hot coals spilled out. Could have been a disaster.

Amazon no longer carries the Weber Charcoal Chimney; they list it as discontinued. Weber still makes their chimney and if you saw both of them side by side, there's no comparison. Weber is larger, sturdier, and safer.

Lobby Amazon to carry the Weber again, or do yourself a favor and search Google for the Weber. It retails at 19.99 even if you have to pay full price. Well worth it.
