This tool holder is specifically designed for KETTLE grills. The only mention of this limitation is hidden in the Editorial Review, which I missed. The item costs $3.99. To return the item to Amazon by US Mail is $4.99. Don't make the same mistake that I did!

Very handy due to the lack of horizontal space on the grill to put something down. However, it does not stay put very well.

One other thing. The tool holder makes it difficult to slip the rain cover on and off. Something to consider if you plan to use the cover often.

The tool holder works perfect on my grill. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about how the thing will fall off or it will prevent the lid from sealing. I see how this can be true, however if you can spare about 3 minutes and have ordinary pliers ready that can be solved.

I put the holder on the grill, bent the prongs around the lip of it and have had no problems since. It doesn't move, slide, or fall off and the bent prongs allow the top to close with ease. I don't even have a weber grill, I own a char-broil. If you seriously don't have the capacity to bend a little bit of metal then don't buy it. For the rest of you spened the 4 dollars.

I used this product one time -- grilled fish. It worked very well. The fish was cooked to perfection. The removeable handle worked well.

However, when I started to clean the basket, after only one use, the black nonstick surface began to flake and come off. Mind you, I didn't srub or use harsh products. The nonstick surface came off with a little Sunlight soap and a sponge. I can't use it again because the surface comes off in the water, on the sponge, and on your hands. I'm sure that it will come off on your food.

If you don't mind disposable kitchen tools, buy this product.

I waited a month to get this item, and was so disappointed when after the first use, I started to wash the basket and the coating came off on many sections of the basket. Good design and idea, but poor craftsmanship.

The basket is good for grilling but it is difficult getting the tongs into the grooves in the basket, particularly when one is standing over an open flame.

Beware of projectile objects in this grill set!

My Father, whom I purchased this for a few months ago, was simply admiring what he thought was a durable new barbecue set.

Two weeks ago, after very little use (except for hamburgers) he was cooking up some ribs on the grill. He came in the house holding the turner in his hand. He was coming inside to grab a large plate to place the ribs on after taking them off the grill.

Low and behold, my Father shook the turner (imagine the action of picking up a hammer and getting a feel for it) and the end of the turner went flying across the room at the zenith of the shaking motion.

It busted the glass and some of my Mother's trinkets/souvenirs/relics/etc. in her Curio cabinet. It was an amazing sight, I assure you. It was fit for any slap stick comedy special.

However, the laughs were short lived after examing this damage, and seeing what exactly had happened with the turner. The plastic handle had literally split open, releasing the metal portion into the air.

I assure you my Father was not swinging this device like a baseball bat. As aforementioned, the way he swung the scraper was similar to getting a feel for a new hammer someone was about to buy.

We were quite fortunate no one was standing near the Curio cabinet. I dread the thought of someone being near the Curio cabinet at that time and what could have happened.

So, beware of these utensils. They may cause harm to you or your precious fine China.

This looked like a pretty kewl piece of gadgetry when I looked at it on line. I was going to buy this for myself but ended up putting it on my wishlist and then receiving it as a gift.

As it turns out, the case is not as swanky as it's online picture would have you think. It's not made of aluminum but has thin aluminum sheets with a prickly texture glued to it's sides(mine aren't glued very well either). The tools seem to be ok, but I don't expect that the case will hold up for very long. Maybe this is worth 20 bucks, but surely not more than that in my opinion.

Maybe my standards are set too high?

I bought this set for Tailgating with a group of friends and got pretty much the reaction I thought I would. Lots of ooohs, aaahs and a couple of wise @ss comments about the shiny case. When I told them the price everyone pretty much shut immediately up. (It's a lot lower than they expected)

The Philippe Richard 12-Piece Barbecue Set comes with everything I needed to make a nice big meal in a parking lot. The spatula is nice and broad, the tongs are well constructed and have a great edge for gripping the food. (Boneless Pork Ribs were handled easily and chicken was a breeze) The case is strong, attractive and well constructed. The straps used to hold the tools in place seemed a little light and flimsy, but for the price I can't really complain. I used the basting brush quite a lot and saw no bristle loss, something I have pretty much come to expect from tools in this price range. My one complaint is that the brush was not well seated when shipped from the factory and the bristles were all bent to a forty five degree angle at about the mid point of the brush. This actually made it easier to scoop up extra sauce, but spreading it took a little extra effort.

Quick comment to those folks who gave this set a low rating because it might damage your propane, non-stick covered grills. THIS SET IS MADE OF METAL!!!! Of course you are going to scratch the non-stick material off your little cooking stoves. Buy some plasticware and stop whining! As a charcoal purist I can say that people with real grills will love this set. I plan on getting one of those Fire and Ice or Coleman stoves either for Christmas or next year to use along with my wrought iron hibachi style charcoal grill, but I will obtain and use the right tools with it.

I too have a spot missing on the non-stick coating. I only used
it twice and then never used abrasives on it, was just fish cooked with olive oil. Too expensive to have this happen.
I bought the kiddies cook set as well and it is great.

Mine arrived with some scratches in the nonstick layer on the shallow pan. I haven't used it too heavily, and have only had it for a few months, and already the nonstick coating is coming off the grill rack too. It would also be nice if it had a lip so it could be easily pulled out, because it's difficult to reach under the edge of the shallow pan with a pot-holder to get a grip on it to pull it out. I haven't used the deep pan for anything, just the wire rack over the shallow pan to drain grease (mostly chicken) while baking.

Mine arrived in excellent condition and I JUST LOVE IT, it is so easy to clean, I use it all the time. I wish I would have bought it years ago. I'm buying sets for my friends.

It is a beautiful pan, if you have the right stove to use it. The grooves ("hills") [BTW, they are parallel + not concentric as the Amazon description states] have "valleys" on the bottom of the pan. If you have a gas stove, which I have not, - you will probably be very pleased. Don't expect to use this pan on a ceramic cooking surface or just a plain electric coil element as there is not enough contact between heating source + pan; you might damage either. I gave it away to my college kid w/ a gas stove.

WOW!! I love my other Circulon products and decided to try this. It was great! I used it for chicken and then for a steak. Both came out great. This is by far my favorite grill pan. Try it you'll love it!!!

The brush works great. I like the long handle. But what's the point of having a replaceable brush head if they're not available.

This grill brush is very nice. Great shape works great, but I can't find the replacement heads for it. Any help?

I purchesed this product not too long ago and whoever disigned it should take a look at the silverware basket. They sould come up with a better way to drain the silverware because the silverware basket hangs over the counter in every position I tried. Needless to say, I took it back because the basket would have drained my silverware all over my counter and not in the drain board. I think its a nice dish rack but the basket has to be redisigned to drain in the drain board and not over the counter. Looks are very decieving, in the picture it looks like the basket is over the drain board but its not. I hope this helps others before they decide to buy this product.

While this is a wonderful product - decorative and functional, I must warn you - while wiping the drainer dry so as not to accumulate mineral marks, the draining edge is razor sharp and I sliced my pinky finger at the second joint, so deep that blood gushed, and I could see "pieces parts" inside of the wound. After serious dressing and a splint, it healed fine, that is not the issue - the issue is that this razor sharp edge can cause a major injury to someone else. If there was a touch more pressure, I would have cut tendons and ligaments. OGGI, please fix/recall the product or remove it from the shelves. Since I paid cash and thew out the box I couldn't return it; I used a grinder to soften the edge of the drainer and kept it.

The grill actually is a small-size GR20 series, not extra-size. I do not think it can serve family of 5 members. Let us think about it, 10~15 minutes just can do 2 pork or steak, how long it will take for 5 members? I do not like it.

I received my grill as a christmas gift and I use it for everything! Me and My husband have lost over 20lbs. since we've recieved the grill! The extra- large grill is perfect for our family of five and it cooks the food evenly through out. We can cook a frozen t-bone in 15 minutes or less. I recommend this for any busy mom!

The theory of this thermometer was wonderful, and I thought it would be great to use in my Weber Smoky Mountain smoker to determine the temp right at the grill level. Two hours into the cook, running at about 225 degrees, I lifted the lid to baste and picked up the thermometer to wipe the smoky residue off the face to make it easier to see whilst looking through the top vent of the smoker. I was shocked to see that the numbers on the dial come right off onto the damp towel that I was using! Not on one, but on both thermometers. I have no idea if this is normal, and I know that Taylor usually has an excellent reputation, but if this low heat causes the ink to release, how does it work on really hot grills???

I may have gotten a few from a bad batch, and I have already contacted Taylor about this problem.

As usual, your mileage may vary, but this was my experience.

For perfect temperature control every time, place one of these on the top of your Dutch Oven (where the coals are), and cook. This thermometer will read correctly for the temperature inside the Dutch Oven. We have used one of these for years - they are part of "Our secret to Dutch Oven success".

I bought this for my smoker and when I got it it had a sticker an it for $1.98. It cost 4.95 shipping because it came from a different warehouse as all other products (including other woodchips). BUYER BEWARE!
No Stars if it would let me RIPOFF

I have to admit I like woodchips and as woodchips go these aren't bad. I am just spoiled after using Mesquite Bean Pods. The flavor intensity, sweetness, and that OOOOOOOOOOOhhhhh so good taste I found with Mesquite Bean Pods leaves woodchips out in the cold. I would buy 5 lb. bags of woodchips at a time as I disliked running out. Compared to Mesquite Bean Pods you need at least twice as much woodchips to last as long as Mesquite Bean Pods and still you won't get as good a taste.

my brother in law used this and it did make a difference. i have to try it for sure!
